A general rule to keep in mind is to use W5 (Fire Artillery) when playing against a bow that play kiting and use W1 (Flame Blast) / W4 Raging Flare when bow play poking.

Corrupted dungeons allow many strategies like brawling, kiting, poking, and more.
If you have trouble to handle kiting enemy, you might consider trying a kiting build yourself to understand its weaknesses.
I'm not sure what weapon I used against you in the corrupted dungeon, so I can't provide a specific suggestion for dealing with your situation.
