    This is SUPER!!! We renovated a '67 Compact in 2019 and it had a lot of ceiling water damage. We did not remove the closet/kitchen walls/cabinets, but replaced the entire ceiling. Large pieces of cardboard are your friend when making templates for replacement sheets of ceiling/insulation - it makes cutting the ceiling pieces much easier and accurate. Hope you get a covered work area - you're going to need it. Also JB weld to fix exterior holes. Hope you don't hit your head on that cabinet just left of the doorway too many times...... I relocated that one to above the kitchen sink! I would love to share more with you along the way. This one has great bones! Enjoy the journey!!!

    Hey Angela, I just found your channel and I really like it. I love the older RV’s that get revamped.
    Thanks for all your hard work and the effort you put out for our enjoyment.
    This is Alan from Riverside in Southern California. God Bless you, stay safe out there.

    It's in remarkable shape for its age. Don't forget about checking the floor. It's got to be solid. I've replaced boat decks and have discovered some extras that will make it last a very long time. Always remember, moisture is your enemy! Good luck!

      Cameron, I'm going to put together another video showing what it looks like underneath etc. It is truly a miracle that this is so nice when it hasn't been used in more than 15 years

    Angela! OMG, my name is Angela also & I just discovered your channel. I'm a newbie & bought a '70 Shasta 1400 last year. I'm watching you jump fearlessly head 1st into your project & enjoying every minute. Funny part is that MANY of the things/design ideas you're doing are exactly what I'm in the process of doing...albeit very slowly. Keep up the great work. You're an inspiration!

    A hardware store can cut a new glass panel to fit. Just bring in one of the size you need and they can match and cut a new one. Not sure on rounding the edges though?

    Since I'll be doing solo with some off grid I'm not going to put to much emphasis on the exterior other then weather proofing and safety precautions.

    Were there was a trunk, how convenient!!

    • @tinyhomesimplelife2752
      @tinyhomesimplelife2752  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, the location meant that it wasn't safe to use. It would have thrown off the balance while towing and created a problem. So there will have to be a trunk in the front instead where it is safer.
