I love the fact that so many people here can say that he basically raised them. As someone who grew up without a father figure in their life Dan felt like a friend who filled that role in. No one TH-camr has managed to keep me as engaged as he has over the course of many years. Sure I don’t watch him as often as I did at a certain point but I still love checking In and seeing what’s new with him. I’ve never properly fallen off of his content despite me growing older and My taste in TH-camrs evolving alongside that. That’s a testament to his content skills. Wish him all the very best in his life as a father of two and I hope a day comes when I can tell all of this to him in person cause he really does mean that much to me.

Dan was the first TH-cam channel my autistic son watched. He loved minecraft, and when we found Dan it was such a gift. As a mom, thanks for being with my kids for years (eventually my other two also watched his videos), for being a wonderful person, and allowing them to see someone they thought was so cool share a passion that they were developing (gaming which has led to other things like game development and character creation). Two of them have since moved on to other games, but it inspired their creativity and gave them something to look forward to. As my oldest grew up and found your swearing compilations and other channel lol you only became cooler to him
Dan was a big foundation of my childhood. I never really watched any of the other people like PopularMMOs and Stampy. This man was my go-to and it feels like I actually know him. Even if he was just making TH-cam videos, it left a huge impact on me. Thank you so much Dan for being a part of my life.

PopularMMOs is a good person too but his channel started to go down hill after his breakup and his multiple arrests. I feel like with PopularMMOs, Jen had made his videos more funny therefore making us kids enjoy his videos. Now that she left most people have left him since his videos do not have the same levels of entertainment. PopularMMOs is also very nice but I wouldn’t call him a role model he was quite inappropriate in his videos lol

this guy is genuinely the best, i met him once way back in like 2016 i believe on one of his live shows. we bought meet and greets but the tickets never stated what time it was at so by the time me and my mum got there we had missed the meet and greet and i was devastated. i remember my mum telling me she was going to the toilet before the show started and when she left i started to cry a little only for her to come back and say we had to see a staff member after the show. we got took into a private room with a couple other kids who had missed the meet and greet and after a couple minutes of waiting, dan came into the room, took pictures and signed things for us. he even signed something for my best friend at the time. (my mum had to ask him because i was too starstruck to even talk) but yeah, the dude was amazing.
Hearing about Dan's past about him being shy is pretty relatable for me. Because I'm mostly shy when I'm in a new place where I don't know or trust anyone (as you don't really know anyone). But after some time and I get to know some people that I think I could trust, I would of course be less shy. It's been great watching DanTDM since 2014, it was fun watching all of his Minecraft videos. As he was one of the people that got me into Minecraft. I wish I can go back at least one time, and experience all of this again. As I remember being so excited for more videos from him.

WOW! What can I say? This was very inspirational and heartwarming to hear Dan’s POV of his life on TH-cam. I felt very sorry for him having to deal with crazy people, which made him feel like he had to move! This definitely makes me think if I have got what it takes to be the next TH-camr, I’d have to know what I want from it in terms of content related. Tbh me watching Dan whenever I get the chance always relives my nostalgic memories of being at the Insomnia Gaming Festival, watching him onstage at his live shows and meeting him at his book signing tours. Even if I don't always watch his videos, I'm just thankful for being in such an AWESOME community called TeamTDM!

this man have single-handedly raised me. i remember in 2014, when my sister was born. the day she came home from the hospital i was on the couch watching dan play fnaf 4 😭 i also remember loving dans christmas countdown series!! i looked forward to that every year. me and my friend would always update eachother like "omg dans new christmas countdown is out!!" it was always so exciting. i mostly watched his minecraft videos at first, but then i started just liking watching dan himself play whatever! i would watch him play stuff that i didn't even think i'd be interested in, but when id watch dan play it.. it was so much different. i can actually cry talking about this because dan was a huge part of my childhood. i miss it so much, but i also love talking about it at the same time. i never ever got to meet him, like whether it was at a convention, or a meet and greet, but i always watched the live broadcast & his vlogs about it! i don't watch dan as much now, but i do check in every now and then. i miss watching him everyday after school, and waiting for him to upload. i know dan doesn't know me at all, but he really genuinely means so much to me. growing up autistic & keeping friendships has always been hard for me, but dan was always there. i got bullied a lot in school, for being shy, or not being as smart as the others, but dan always cheered me up. he would make me forget about it all instantly! in 7th grade i still watched dan, but i never told anyone because i would get bullied for it. i never understood why? i still somewhat don't, but i guess it was because his content is aimed towards children, and i was an early teen. anyways.. this is making me cry so i'll stop 😂 i doubt anyone will read this anyway, but i don't care because i love talking about this for some reason. thank you for everything dan, really. you have no idea the impact you've made on me, and millions of others throughout the years ♥️♥️

I felt like I could enjoy Minecraft without even playing the game itself, and Dan truly helped me become who I am today, even if I never even had the opportunity to interact with him directly in person. I love Dan. I was about 9 when I found him back to the mod showcases and the diamond dimensions. I've seen him at his first show back in 2016 and I went on stage because I got picked from the audience to play a mini game and it meant everything to me. Sadly he was in character, but I did tell him that I loved his videos and I still do. I'm going to be 20 next year, and I'm not ready to fully grow into that adulthood.
As a gaming Mum, Dan's channel was the only one I would let my son watch for years - mainly because he didn't use bad language like some of the other channels...But also because his content was interesting and entertaining. He really is a National Hero in my eyes and as mentioned, his genuine humble personality is heartwarming. I am so pleased he has made a good life for him and his family. All blessings to you Dan.

ive been watching dan since atleast 2015-2016. im now 14 and i still watch him. dan was my childhood, dan basically raised me, everything i know about stuff online, games, etc, is all from him, i always watch his videos, i watch one of his videos whenever he releases one, or just when im bored, i watch atleast 1 of his videos a day, and its nice, like knowing you have been watching this creator for almost 8 years, and you still do, and still enjoy them just as much as you did 8 years ago. its amazing.

Dan was one of the people I learned my English from cause when I was growing up I used to watch him every day and the English language just stuck to me. I could talk to people outside my country with no problem even before I was 10. I’m so incredibly grateful that he was one of the people who made my childhood amazing in every kind of way.

I'd have to say I fell in love with Dan's content when he was a teen doing mod showcases and the diamond dimensions and as a kid I was just like wow... and now being grown up and seeing he's grown up aswell and has two kids now and is still this humble is shocking

WOW! What can I say? This was very inspirational and heartwarming to hear Dan’s POV of his life on TH-cam. I felt very sorry for him having to deal with crazy people, which made him feel like he had to move! This definitely makes me think if I have got what it takes to be the next TH-camr, I’d have to know what I want from it in terms of content related. Tbh me watching Dan whenever I get the chance always relives my nostalgic memories of being at the Insomnia Gaming Festival, watching him onstage at his live shows and meeting him at his book signing tours. Even if I don't always watch his videos, I'm just thankful for being in such an AWESOME community called TeamTDM!
Not gonna lie, when Dan stops making videos, I will cry every day because, he was with me my entire childhood. I wouldn't know what to do without him or his videos to be honest.

this man have single-handedly raised me. i remember in 2014, when my sister was born. the day she came home from the hospital i was on the couch watching dan play fnaf 4 😭 i also remember loving dans christmas countdown series!! i looked forward to that every year. me and my friend would always update eachother like "omg dans new christmas countdown is out!!" it was always so exciting. i mostly watched his minecraft videos at first, but then i started just liking watching dan himself play whatever! i would watch him play stuff that i didn't even think i'd be interested in, but when id watch dan play it.. it was so much different. i can actually cry talking about this because dan was a huge part of my childhood. i miss it so much, but i also love talking about it at the same time. i never ever got to meet him, like whether it was at a convention, or a meet and greet, but i always watched the live broadcast & his vlogs about it! i don't watch dan as much now, but i do check in every now and then. i miss watching him everyday after school, and waiting for him to upload. i know dan doesn't know me at all, but he really genuinely means so much to me. growing up autistic & keeping friendships has always been hard for me, but dan was always there. i got bullied a lot in school, for being shy, or not being as smart as the others, but dan always cheered me up. he would make me forget about it all instantly! in 7th grade i still watched dan, but i never told anyone because i would get bullied for it. i never understood why? i still somewhat don't, but i guess it was because his content is aimed towards children, and i was an early teen. anyways.. this is making me cry so i'll stop 😂 i doubt anyone will read this anyway, but i don't care because i love talking about this for some reason. thank you for everything dan, really. you have no idea the impact you've made on me, and millions of others throughout the years ♥️♥️
i have met dan before, once, and I can confirm that he is the most sweetest, down to earth guy (and short lol) i have ever met in my entire life, when you talk he listens and when he talks you know everything he says is littered with care and passion
Although I haven’t been watching Dan for the past few years, I still absolutely love him. I looked up to him so much when I was 9-11 and he has helped me through my transition from elementary to middle school. This sounds cheesy but I was having a really hard time and watching his videos helped me

DanTDM truly is a really special man.
As a kid, I would always tune in every day to see his videos and I loved watching him just playing games and talking. It was almost like he was with me. I felt like I could enjoy Minecraft without even playing the game itself, and Dan truly helped me become who I am today, even if I never even had the opportunity to interact with him directly in person. I just think that without Dan, I wouldn't be here.

I will never forget his hilarious and wholesome adventures, and I always appreciated that, in this new era where we keep seeing controversy and tragedy regarding old famous Minecraft youtubers, Dan has continued to remain upright and walking down the straight-and-narrow. I'm proud of him.

Words cannot describe how much I am grateful to Dan. I learned English, got into games, and made so many new friends. I would always wait for a new video to come out, and when I did, I would watch the whole thing, regardless of the video’s duration. I still watch his videos every now and then, not all the time since I have things to do in real life. His content was the only source of entertainment I would enjoy and I would say that he basically raised me, from child to teenager.
dan has put so much of his life into youtube and what he does is amazing. juggling between being a parent and being one of the most popular people in the UK
I love Dan. I was about 9 when I found him back to the mod showcases and the diamond dimensions. I've seen him at his first show back in 2016 and I went on stage because I got picked from the audience to play a mini game and it meant everything to me. Sadly he was in character, but I did tell him that I loved his videos and I still do. I'm going to be 20 next year, and I'm not ready to fully grow into that adulthood.

As a gaming Mum, Dan's channel was the only one I would let my son watch for years - mainly because he didn't use bad language like some of the other channels...But also because his content was interesting and entertaining. He really is a National Hero in my eyes and as mentioned, his genuine humble personality is heartwarming. I am so pleased he has made a good life for him and his family. All blessings to you Dan.

Dan is my safe space, I’ve been watching him since I was allowed to use technology. I was unsupervised on the internet from a young age but it’s almost like dan kept me safe. I’m in highschool now, he’s such a comfort for me and I’ve never felt more understood by someone. I went to see him live in 20...18? I think it was and he turned my life around. I love him. I remember being a small child and thinking.. wow he thinks like me. I wanted to be just like him, Though my dreams are different now. He still inspires me to follow my dreams

Dan was literally the main reason i got into Minecraft and gaming in general. He was always this charismatic and enthusiastic man who never let us down with a single video. Like watching him before like 15 mil i think even 10 mil this man has been a part of me and i just want the best for him.
ive been watching dan since atleast 2015-2016. im now 14 and i still watch him. dan was my childhood, dan basically raised me, everything i know about stuff online, games, etc, is all from him, i always watch his videos, i watch one of his videos whenever he releases one, or just when im bored, i watch atleast 1 of his videos a day, and its nice, like knowing you have been watching this creator for almost 8 years, and you still do, and still enjoy them just as much as you did 8 years ago. its amazing.
When i was younger i was a real loner. He made me feel like I had a friend in my life. Watching him everyday really made me happy. Till to this day he is my favourite youtuber and always will be.

Same, could always trust that my son was safe online watching DanTDM. 10 years ago travelled 6 trains to Plymouth to see the show and the venue said they had never seen queues like it. Even our Google maps satnav is still called Gemma.

Dan was one of the people I learned my English from cause when I was growing up I used to watch him every day and the English language just stuck to me. I could talk to people outside my country with no problem even before I was 10. I’m so incredibly grateful that he was one of the people who made my childhood amazing in every kind of way.
This is just such a nostalgic reminder of a past time. I'm really glad Dan was a part of my childhood, sometimes wish I could go back and experience it all first hand once again.
