I first watched you about a month ago and since then I've made 22 pieces. I took your advice and bought the same solder iron and flux you suggested also the solder. It is so much fun. Thanks for your great advice, its helped me a lot.
@@eugeniaeditsthank you so much for the tutorials, I would like you to make a new one on how to make gold soldering. I remember you promised to do a video about it. 😅
@Dianne_Singer 😅♥️ so I did a ton of research and there is a way by applying liquid gold. But that substance is pretty toxic and it’s rubbing off with wear. Soooo… I can try to take you to a gold leaf rout. I think to seal it best bet would be resin. But these two steps seem like a lot of work. But I will experiment and record it for you ♥️ I am filming how to do texture with soldering video ♥️ so gold leaf will be next 🤞🏻💃🏻
@@eugeniaedits thank you so much! It would be great to have an alternative, I understand if u say the other way it's not recommended. I'll be anxious waiting that video! 😅
Love the video! Great to see all your rings too! Glad to hear you've got projects in the mix that are keeping you busy creating. I still want to get the good soldering station,...but I really got pulled into wood carving as of late, so I updated those tools first. Having so much fun with it too! I hope you're having fun and creating up a storm. Sending all the good vibes your way.😊
I love how you explore and experience different techniques. You are so free during recording or while making art, and it seems it doesn't matter if something goes wrong and this is inspiring. I like how you tell everything in detail and that you are empiric. Thank you for making the videos, they are very helpful and informative, and brought me a lot of joy! :)
Aww!!!! ♥️♥️🥰🥰😘😘This makes me SO SO SO HAPPY!! You have made my whole week! Thanh you so much for noticing all of that. That is so special to me. I will continue posting. 🥰Because of comments like yours ♥️♥️

You are sooo wonderful- so glad I found you! You are VERY good at explaining- extremely detailed - the personal art inspiration is the icing on the cake 🎂! Loved the examples for chains. I hope to order a soldering tool as soon as I save up enough for a good one. My favorite rings you’ve made (and I love all of them) is the flat coral ring, the China plate with the Asian guy, large amethyst ring- beautiful!
Awwww!!!!!! Thank you SO MUCH! This makes me so happy!!! Literally tearing up! I LOVE showing you my experiments! So glad you find my videos helpful! The rings you have mentioned are my favorites as well lol. Re soldering iron, the one that I use is a very good one - it has been working perfect for two years. Whichever you get - I suggest getting the one with adjusting temperature knob. YOU ARE SO SWEET! Thank you!!! Motivating me to keep going!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I have watched several of your videos and found them so helpful. Tried this about a year ago, and had lots of problems with my tips. I kept ruining them. I will try it again with you method of conditioning the tip. What jump rings do you use??? I could not catch that and I don’t see it in you list of supplies. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent!!!
I love your videos!!!Do you have any videos on decrotive edges like little dots blobs i cannot get them. Also i would love a source for ring and bracelet blanks. Tyia
Maybe I missed this in the video...what type of metal works for jump rings? Stainless steel? Sterling silver? Do you know if I could use brass or copper jump rings, or would they be likely to melt so near the soldering iron? Thank you! I'm learning so much from your delightful videos
Hi!! I am not sure if copper will melt! I dont think so! Sterling silver worked for me! but! If any jump ring should be fine!!! So glad you like the videos :)))
m glad that this video has been very helpful to ME. Thank you so much. I'm sorry, but could you please add Korean subtitles to the video? I would be extremely grateful if you could, but if it's difficult, it's okay not to do it! I'm already very grateful... Will jewelry made of copper tarnish when it comes into contact with water? How should it be maintained, and are there any precautions to take during maintenance?
Hi! ♥️♥️I am so happy you find my videos helpful! I will try to figure out how to add subtitles to my video in different languages. I’ve been thinking to do that. 💕 Regarding copper jewelry as long as it’s covered with lead free solder, it will not tarnish. I have been wearing all my rings for two years now washing dishes in them and hands. And they don’t tarnish. also, I use copper base, but silver plated call parents that I also have tested and they do not tarnish. So, when soldering, just make sure to use other parts of your attaching Soldering pieces to that won’t tarnish either. For instance, if you are attaching jump rings to a soldered piece, make sure it’s made out of sterling silver so that part won’t tarnish. The actual solder will never tarnish, but be mindful of other materials you attaching solder to. I hope this helps.♥️♥️✨😘😘😘
Hi! So without copper tape solder won’t stick. Since copper is conductive, it lets solder stick. So copper tape will stay underneath the solder but if you cover it well it won’t be visible :)
I am not sure - is the metal you use for soldering actual silver or solder? The translation tricks me a bit😅 I am trying to source the materials but Amazon is not so accessible for Romania. Super cool tutorials🫶🏻
Hi! No worries! I understand translations could be tricky! I am using metal alloy, it’s a combination of metals that are melted at a much lower temperature than silver. For silver we would need to use torch ( with fire). Solder on the other hand does not require high temperature. I think in Romanian it’s “ спойка за запояване”. Here is link to what I mean mladkonstruktor.bg/oborudvane-za-zapoqvane/. But please make sure to buy the one without lead. Lead is conduce in Romanian. I hope this helps ♥️ Happy Holidays and thank you so much for watching my channel 😘
I noticed the tape you’re using is a white bag not a black back. I use white back as well and it works perfectly fine as a matter of fact, it is super adhesive.
Ha! I have had trouble with the black backing tape as it was not very sticky. Would you mind sharing the brand you are using? Mine is not that strong. ♥️
I have! Lol that is another method! Suggested salt as I thought salt is more common to find laying around the house. But clay is definitely another super functional option! ♥️♥️

Eugénie have you ever tried to add a really jump bring to your soft Sauter and have it bounce off the jump ring being made of copper
I am sorry, I am not understanding the question😅 could you please rephrase it? 🥰🙏🏻
I am a weirdo too! Thank heavens, right? The world 🌎 needs us weirdos.
Just wondering what the benefits of copper tape are? Does it act as a guidline, or does it assist the solder to stay on the rock? Thanks :)
Hi! So without copper tape solder won’t stick. Since copper is conductive, it lets solder stick. So copper tape will stay underneath the solder but if you cover it well it won’t be visible :)

can we do pieces from zero? for example can i make a heart shape from zero with soldering?
Hi! You would have to make them out of copper wire first and the you would be able to apply solder to it ♥️

What is the flux thingy for? I didnt really understand that part😅
What is your jump ring made of?
I believe it’s a mix of metal materials. I bought of Amazon and it’s says “metal” 🤔

Flux is poisonous? 🥺 Great video as always. 🤍
Yes! Just make sure to always wash your pieces after soldering :) Thank you for your sweet comment! ♥️
