As someone who makes my own and my fiancés costumes for living history and thus knows a thing or two about tailoring: The creators of this actually sat down and did their research! Taking measurements, choosing the right fabric, the right stitch... everything about the craft is presented extremely accurately and i am in the very niche demographic that *really* appreciates this.
The Manga (which i recommend) really goes into detail about how they went to stores (many of them in the anime exist in RL) and talked to people in the business. They did all the homework to make sure they had all the details.
Some of the scenes that look photorealistic were actually done from photographs. And Swallowtail is a real wig shop that gave permission to be used in the manga/anime. The Mangaka really put in the time to learn what is really needed. FYI-my mother had an old treadle sewing machine very similar to the one that breaks down in the anime. I can vouch for the authenticity of that imagery, and pretty much all the sewing related references.
I love this anime to pieces. It's fun, it's sweet, and despite the multiple instances of obvious fan service, it's incredibly wholesome, and it just doesn't feel out of place. Their relationship seems so genuine and human. There's now weird "will they or won't they" thing going on, because it's clear that it *will* happen, just eventually, in their own time. The story and the characters, and the animation and music just all...work. This anime is a work of art and one that will be a favourite of mine for a long time to come. Also Marin Kitagawa is absolutely 100% best girl from any anime ever, there's no changing my mind about this.
How are the "gender roles" being poked or changed? He is a craftsman that works hard and is not very outgoing. But he takes charge and gets things done. She is a confident beauty that "happens" to be a model. Just because he is introvert and she is extrovert does nothing to the "gender roles". Her emotional strength brings him comfort and strength. This is exactly what a traditional male/female relationship is SUPPOSED to be. Most of the hate comes from people who think she is too feminine and that he is still too masculine. Marin is what nearly every man in the world longs for. A supportive, caring, thoughtful woman that takes responsibility for themselves and doesn't feel entitled because she could easily get anything from a man.
@@DarthPoyner the typical "weeb waifu-worshipper" is a female, the strong, dedicated-to-his-craft craftsman likes cute stuff, etc. I guess I should have said that this show "plays" with gender roles rather than pokes fun at them.

j P Hijo is literally judged for liking dolls at the start of the show because he's a boy, he doesn't even just see doll making as a profession he genuinely likes them. He also comes to enjoy doing marins makeup and clothes, later in the manga he gets excited when he finds new types of makeup at a store. There's even a stereotype that men who enjoy doing makeup and fashion must be gay. Marin on the other hand isn't just a pretty outgoing model, she's an open perv who talks about her favorite porn game to gojo even though they barely know eachother. Anime and Ecchi games are traditionally marketed towards males. Marin has many traditionally feminine hobbies and interests, but she also doesn't care if people judge her for her traditionally male hobbies either. Gojo puts everything he had into his interests, but that just means he's really focused and passionate about his interests and isn't satisfied until he finishes what he's doing. This isn't even an inherently male trait, if a woman didn't fully devote herself to taking care of her children or doing her job shed be called a bad mother and employee. Did you even try to understand the show? This is like when I met a libertarian who loved the video game bios hock and didn't even realize the game was a critique of libertarianism, and Andrew Ryan was based on Ayn rand and rapture was the city from atlas shrugged.
One of my favorite things about this show... The cosplay event is seriously well done. Her little, "What's it matter? Those clothes are your style!" was so great, because people truly do not care what you look like at these events. It's all about sharing an interest and being yourself, enjoying your hobbies. The number of compliments I've gotten, given to people, or even just casual conversations struck are to many to count.
I can’t tell you how many times I love how this guy points out small details and gives props to them! His reactions and input make me feel like I’m watching this anime for the first time! Thank you for continuing to make amazing content, Anime Wins.
You mention the "win" for the outfit Marine was wearing when Gojo comes to her apartment, but NOT for the fact that she always wears contacts because she "hates" her real eyes, and doesn't want him to see them at all. That is a win itself for character development.
Win 27 really hit, I thought about it and for me most meroably loved character for me was kisagi chihaya from idolmaster. At the time I fell in love with her in the anime, my parents were getting divorced and someone special to me passed away. But that character (spoil alert) she lost her brother at a really young age but by the end of the anime she sang because she loved it and felt no more guilt, letting her inner child out, and she just became so beautiful I cried the first time I heard “yakusoku” her friends singing the beginning… THEN she bursts the most beautiful voice I ever heard. She warmed my heart and gave me a song that I can sing nearly by heart, especially when I need it. (Ps life is good now so I don’t sing it often lol)
What I loved about the main character is that, interestingly enough, Wakana Gojo my be on the Asperger's Spectrum; the way he has difficulties socializing, becoming weirdly obsessed and focused on a hobby, the way he doesn't understand certain social cues or norms, and how at times he can switch between understanding the sexual tension and being oblivious. Loved their portrayal of this disability and am looking forward to the second season. Note: I noticed this because I am someone who is diagnosed with Asperger and Gojo appears to be low on the Spectrum like me.
@@kremit_frog4031 No, if it was just pure social awkwardness, he wouldn't be hyperfocused on his sewing and outfit designs. I mean, for Shizuku-tan, he straight up played an ENTIRE EROGE and didn't bat an eye at the porn elements, focusing squarely on the outfit he was making. We even saw him crafting BLUEPRINTS for the outfit. His friendless background, how it's caused by people judging him for his 'special interest' (hina dolls) is a hallmark of the entire Autism Spectrum, whether it's high-functioning like Asperger Syndrome or not. It's actually a major source of our social issues: the lack of meaningful interaction with others in school or out means less experience, and since our minds tend to be hardwired for logic rather than emotions, we struggle to pick up on social cues that would otherwise be GLARINGLY obvious. Hell, my girlfriend (best friend at the time) was dropping hints for _months_ , and I never noticed because I was focused on the fact that she was getting more and more distant and shy with me. I genuinely thought she didn't like me at all, and was trying to find a way to break it gently. Imagine my surprise when she barges into my house one day, _kicks my bedroom door open_ , and pounces on me before I even realize it's her. So yeah, he's got a lot of the hallmarks of High-Functioning Autism. Social anxiety isn't so much struggling with social situations; rather, it's a struggle to _stay_ _calm_ in those situations.
Yeah, he reminded me of a guy I went to school with who has Asperger syndrome. What got portrayed in the anime was definitely more than just social awkwardness.
I'm so glad you finally came around to review this show. Initially I was put off by the title but boy I was glad I watched. This show portrayed the essence of pure innocence that young love has. Gojo was some awful woman/humanity hating incel/loner, he was a a legitimately good dude who was just a bit closed off to people and maybe a little too nice. Marin didn't just fall in love with him simply for existing and neither did he. They came together over a simple hobby and became friends. And each episode you see a natural progression without any of that "well we have to advance the relationship because we have to". And even though there were some, well, spicy moments. They're done with care in a way that represents, again, that innocence of being young, being friends and that sort of complicated and silly dynamic you have with certain people at that age. And Gojo being a good dude never reacts like a sex crazed fiend. There's a level of wholesomeness that's protrayed in this show I never ever thought could be done in animation. If you watch the dub the part where they're talking about the show that's smutty and the woman hears them and is in shock actually makes a great point in the dub that isnt conveyed in the sub. Basically reminiscing on that feeling of "oh to be young and in love again". Even though she was appalled by what was said she shared that same sentiment that frankly myself and probably other viewers had too. To be young again and have that innocence with dating because you're young and carefree. That pureness that you lose after dating someone really bad or several people that make you jaded about the world.
I remembered when I first saw this show... I wasn't sure what to expect. But by the end of episode 1 I was hooked and slowly but surely with each episode, the show felt more and more great to me. And this wins video does help remind me why this is one of my personal favorite anime (also of why Marin and Gojo were my favorites from this show). If we do a s2, that would be amazing to see.
I absolutely loved this series. I also wanted to say that I love you. Not romantically, of course, but who you are. You have a great sense of humor excellent editing (if that is you doing it) and you seem to really care about your community and the animes you watch. I sincerely wish you the best.
Extra win: There's practically little to no sign of the failed confession or poorly hidden attraction tropes so common to this genre. They both clearly like each other, and yet aren't digging themselves a hole trying & failing to confess/hide it. They just want to enjoy their time with each other.
One of my favorite things about #80 - "Are these your girlfriend's?!" - is that it's not just that she cares if he has a girlfriend, it's that she's really worried about the possibility. Anybody else would be, of course he doesn't have a girlfriend - but Marin already knows he's boyfriend material. One of the very nice characterization choices made is that the Inui sisters both, when stressed, play with their hair by just grabbing fistfuls of it and sort of scrunching themselves up around that. You see it on Juju in her introductory scenes and when freaking out when inspecting the studio; Shinju does it when introduced and when she's worrying about upsetting her sister by cosplaying wrong - and then you can tell she wants to when she's first seen in her full costume, and the camera focuses on her from the waist down; her hands go up a little, and then she forces one down with the other, clearly remembering she has a wig on - and that's when Juju grabs her hands.
I love the way this anime breaks cliches, or changes them. The pool/beach scenes, the room scenes, how they invite each other to hang out, she paying for her stuff but also for food for both of them, the way they start liking/loving each other by discovering parts of the other that they like A LOT like she starting to notice him more when she sees him smile from his heart and expressing his own passion, or that despite having romantic scenes ithe story doesn't focus on that, but instead on the growth of the characters and de social dynamics they show and polish throughout the manganime. Even small scenes like Kitagawa falling with Veronica's cosplay has a twist since, normally, she would've fallen on Gojö, but instead she falls backwards. I love everything it does, the narrative and pacing is great, the animation is incredible, the OST is beautiful as fuck, and the development, for me, is the best part of this. They learn and grow so so so much, it just makes me so happy to watch it, and I think it also sets a great example about how to communicate and treat people.
At the beginning I was like: Eh, seems like a decent time waster, I'll wait until it's over and binge it. At the end I was like: Say it, say it, SAY IIIT!
That very first scene hit a little hard for me. I also was surrounded by extremely judgemental people as a kid, and them dismissing or making fun of my hobbies and passions was a very formative experience back then, and it strongly influenced how I express myself. Seeing this stuff be a running theme in the show was oddly therapeutic.
Have you read any of the manga since writing this? It may resonate even more with your experiences if the first scene struck a chord with you. It gives readers far more introspective Gojo moments. The arcs following where the show left off are honestly some of the best imo.
Brilliant work on this video. Every win reminded me deeply of why I fell in love with the manga and got to experience that same love again when watching the anime. Every beat is just phenomenal, their chemistry is amazing and the word you kept using is just perfect for the overall feel of this show; wholesome.
Thank you for covering this anime. It is seriously one of my favorite romance series I've ever seen. Somehow being both incredibly ecchi and utterly wholesome at the same time while not injecting any unnatural drama via love triangles or chronic misunderstandings. It's a show that knows that teenage love is awkward, goofy, and dramatic enough all by itself. I just really love this show and am praying it gets a second season.
As much as I loved the romance, characters, details and animation, I find the most extraordinary thing about this anime is its story of 2 people who are essentially embarrassed of their passions finding someone who accepts them for who they are and what they love. Gojo was absolutely suffering from social anxiety and mild depression before meeting Marin, she helped him accept himself and find joy in his life. Anyone who's ever been bullied, made fun of or teased for loving the things they do, knows how crippling it can be to feel the need to hide who you are from the world, and this examination of someone breaking free from their own self imposed chains is just beautiful. It's right up there with A Silent Voice for me in terms of this type of story. Just with a lot more boobs.
Its incredible how everytime i watch one of your videos of an anime that i already watched you ALWAYS makes me realise stuff that i didnt quite grasp when i was watching, it makes me enjoy them so much more. Thank you so much for your work and for reviewing this anime
You have pointed out so many great things about this show, there’s not much I can add. But I will add this: never in my anime watching life have I invested as much time into watching other people react to a show. I fell hard for it and it delights me every time a new person picks up Marin and Gojo’s story and falls in love with it, too. You can tell the animators loved it. This isn’t the kind of show where this sort of attention to detail typically happens.
The “matane “ Marin gives us at the end of the season seriously made me blush when I first watched it lol. Just with that simple phrase it was like the entire team was talking to us 😍
I think my favorite part is just how naturally they fit together. So many animas and manga have the MCs be either super awkward or just plain rude to each other. With these two, they are genuinely nice to one another and like being together. It’s refreshing. I also like how they fall in love alongside each other instead of one them being super in love from the start while the other spends such a long time before even liking the other, much less loving.
I'm a fool who hasn't watched the rest of Dress-Up Darling after they do the magical girl cosplay, but that last scene with them over the phone has me feeling all sappy--it's too damn precious
As an art student I love this show so much visually, it’s genuinely beautiful and the animation is so fluid it’s crazy. I also wanted to highlight the use of rotoscoping in the animation, which makes scenes where characters move look much more slick and 3d by first filming a real person doing the movements and then drawing over them or using it as reference (a good example of this is the end of the opening or this scene at 3:06 where she scratches her head). If you look out for it you can tell when it’s being applied and this goes for a bunch of more recent anime like aot season 4 and JJK if I’m not mistaken.
literally bruh. ive been wanting to watch more romcom shit and i only barely remembered this existed but now i’m in love with the shit. been reading the manga too
At the end i was like "no you cant do my boi like this, damn it tell him when hes awake!!!" I super loved this anime it was super wholesome and cute. Yes there is some fan service, but it feels so natural in this show when it does happen really not forced at all. I had no idea about the tan scene getting some hate to me thats really dumb some people really just want any reason to hate something. I think this is my favorite slice of life anime.
43:03 I live for horror movies and honestly seeing THAT scene from THAT movie animated so well is amazing. Also the chainsaw dance is recreated so well its great.
One thing I really wanna bring attention to is in episodes 2 and 10 how shadows are used to show someone being in a “dark place” mentally. In episode 2 when Gojo is (poorly) hiding from Marin out of misplaced social anxiety, he’s in the shade until she reassures him and physically pulls him out of the dark into the sunlight. Later on in episode 10 when Gojo confessed his reservations about seeing the Veronica cosplay (which was a MASSIVE Guilty Gear reference, btw! :D), he and Marin both walk into a shaded part of the street. After the confusion is cleared up and the two have a heart-to-heart, they walk side by side out into the evening sunlight.
Oh wow this is the first time this has ever happened so not really sure what to do and why YT didn't tell me about it, (found scrolling through comments). Thanks so much man, this means a lot!!
Anime Wins, regarding your comment at 38:45 : Sometimes, just sometimes the universe does us an extraordinary solid. Marin is just a higher dimensional best/wholesome girl that it breaks my heart and fills it with infinite joy on a multiversal and quantum level. We don't deserve her but I'm incredibly grateful to her existence. 😄
I hope you're happy you cheeky man, this video made my face hurt for watching 47 minutes smiling ear to ear the entire time. All the best to you, I'm always looking forward to you posting and it makes my day a lot better!
This was really fun to watch! I might have to check this anime out for real, especially since I cosplay too! The whole time I was thinking “damn, this is, what, the 3rd Cosplay in like, 3 months? Fabric is expensive man!”.
That ending fireworks literally broke my brain. It's an understatement to say that it's best animated fireworks scene in animation history period. But the fact that they did it in a seasonal slice of life instead of a box office smashing film just doesn't make sense
I will say, this is what got me into anime- it's something my friends liked, but I never got around to watching it until my friend invited me over to watch this along with her. And here I am, two months later, still binging romance/slice of life anime. Absolutely phenomenal show, 10/10
What a fantastic video!!! This anime blew me out of the water… never expected it to become one of my all time favorites!! God bless you and your channel, brother!! You keep delivering just the best work! 🤘😎🤘
This show is EASILY top 3 rom-com for me. I had never heard anything about it but as soon as I watched episode 1 I knew we were in for a fun ride. I ended up reading the first 5 volumes of manga and holy shit I love it so much
I'm really glad you got to see this, and that you enjoyed it so much. It felt so strange at first for me, I came for the "cultured" stuff but ended up remaining due to the sheer wholesomeness of them both.
Something I'd appreciate in these videos is acknowledging when the dub voice acting is on point. Marin's English VA was fantastic and I'd love when that gets mentioned because dubbing can be so hit/miss! Either way love your videos and I totally get if the extra work checking the dub out might not be worth it!
To the comment you made as to what's 'different' about the anime, the main key is pacing. The anime (and to a lesser extent the manga) chose to subvert the usual mode of pacing in romance anime- keeping the protagonists in a will they/won't they holding pattern to maintain tension (and sales). There's no 'tsundere' buffer keeping them at arm's length, for example. Part of why Dress up Darling was so charming was that Marin fell for Gojo early, but more importantly her feelings for him did not overtake her character and become the sole aspect of their relationship. The main difference is that we don't really get as much of a view inside Gojo's head as to 'do I want to pursue Marin'- since even at the end of the 12th episode he's still lacking a certain amount of confidence or willingness to acknowledge his own feelings. He considers his attraction/lust towards her as improper, for example- shameful almost.
after seeing this video, I need to know how to get season 2 NOW, damn I thought I was over the nearly additiv My Dress-Up Darling consume, but now I'm right back in God this Anime is a MASTER PIECE
just need to add this in! episode 2 where Marin reveals her bikini to take measurements was a "cheesecake" nod! cheesekake in portfolio terms means drawings of scantidly clad women and seeing Gojo with a cake package with the name "cheesecake" written on it was a win you unfortunatly missed out on =O
This may seem silly, but whenever I have a rough day, I just come to your channel to watch a reaction. It's almost like having a best bud watch it with you. Thanks for all you do.
This anime actually makes me sad, the idea of having a goal and such a drive for it is something I've been missing for a while watching the anime made me really realize it. Weirdest thing I've probably cried to XD
I absolutely love this anime and have watched it multiple times and by nature notice things and pick things out most people don't and you honestly blew me away with the minute details you noticed. and I completely agree with everything you said. I was immediately taken by awe when I started watching this anime. the animation and art style as well as the absolutely amazing level to detail on top of the incredible story developing. for an ecchi anime it was honestly more wholesome and relatable and sweet than most non ecchi anime, to me is a phenomenal accomplishment. loved this video and your breakdown almost as much as I loved this anime. banging job bro. liked, commented, and subscribed for sure.
Loved your video on this amazing anime. Your videos are always top notch and I love your amazing reactions and interpretations and analysis on animations I didn’t notice. "This animation is as smooth as warm butter spread over some delicious toast!" DUDE! It hasn't even been a minuet in and I already have a new favorite quote! That line is golden!
Re-watching your reaction for the umpteenth time and also the original anime - suddenly noticed in the 'you're very beautiful' train bit - her shadow on the train floor turns to profile as well - next level detail there too :)
Probably my favourite slice of life with Sakamoto desu ga ?. It is so wholesome, so funny and so damn cute. Also, Marine is a "gyaru" (I'll let you do some research on that, it's quite interesting) and from what I've heard from Japanese people, they usually don't like the typical japanese way of hiding your emotions and conforming. That's why Marin feels so refreshing as a female character and that's also why she is so playful and genuine.
I watched this anime after hearing a bit about it online. I then proceeded to watch the entirety of it in almost one go. Then I watched the dub and loved it. I then read the manga online. I am currently 100% caught up and I WANT MORE OH MY FUCKING GOD. This series has utterly ENSNARED me!
Just wanted to say that every time I am having a bad day, I know I can catch one of your vids, and get a massive dose of positivity injected straight into my veins. Thanks for doing what you do!
I usually don't comment on videos. I'm very shy when it comes to sharing my opinions... but I wanna thank you very much for introducing so many great anime. This is yet another anime that you've reviewed that I genuinely couldn't get enough of. The only other slice of life anime that I have really loved enough to go back and watch are My Love Story and From Me To You... but this one hit me differently, because I can relate to their passions and I just loved the slow burn in them falling in love. I'll be waiting for the video on season 2, so that I can listen to your reactions. Wishing you good health and for Uncle TH-cam to stop being a meanie to you.

He is just socially awkward
I read somewhere that there might not be a second season. I can’t remember why though
Same here. Happy if this is true
Ty so much!
Hi! :D
In the name of all Ohmygoshing and UMAI in this world - thank you so much for your time and effort making this video. Have a wonderful day man!
33:42 you didn’t even reference the absolute parallel that is Marin photographing what she considers to be “beautiful”
At the beginning I was like: Eh, seems like a decent time waster, I'll wait until it's over and binge it.
At the end I was like: Say it, say it, SAY IIIT!
Glad I'm not the only one😅
Thanks so much!
Thanks!
Ty sooooo much for the tip, I'm mad I only saw it randomly scrolling through comments but thanks again !
Wow, thank you!
As someone who doesn't really like romance focused anime/manga....
Damn this is good, it make me feel so wholesome inside
The “matane “ Marin gives us at the end of the season seriously made me blush when I first watched it lol. Just with that simple phrase it was like the entire team was talking to us 😍
I think my favorite part is just how naturally they fit together. So many animas and manga have the MCs be either super awkward or just plain rude to each other. With these two, they are genuinely nice to one another and like being together. It’s refreshing.
I also like how they fall in love alongside each other instead of one them being super in love from the start while the other spends such a long time before even liking the other, much less loving.
This show was an unexpected W
Ikr
the first proper slice of life / romance anime I've watched because I thought it was gonna be boring but I loved this.
I'm a fool who hasn't watched the rest of Dress-Up Darling after they do the magical girl cosplay, but that last scene with them over the phone has me feeling all sappy--it's too damn precious
These are not my usual types of Animes .... BUT ... This just went on my "I MUST WATCH THIS!" list ... thanks for another great review @Anime Wins
It’s a great show
I really loved this show! The animation, characters writing/progression, and sincere love story was done so well...with just the right touch of ecchi.
Was looking forward to this the moment the anime aired. Your commentary is equally wholesome and it's always great to have your perspective.
This is by far my favorite show ever
i wasn’t expecting this anime to be as good as it was
literally bruh. ive been wanting to watch more romcom shit and i only barely remembered this existed but now i’m in love with the shit. been reading the manga too
"Is smooth as warm butter spread out over some delicious toast"
One of the many reasons why I'm subscribed :D
The wholesome levels are through the roof and I'm here for it.
I subscribed almost a year ago now, and you've been providing me with nothing but good content. Keep up with the good good, mate! Love ya!
Hope you enjoy the bi-weekly injection of positivity into your veins xD
43:03 I live for horror movies and honestly seeing THAT scene from THAT movie animated so well is amazing. Also the chainsaw dance is recreated so well its great.
Never thought I'd see a recreation of a scene from Texas Chainsaw Massacre in a slice of life anime.
28:41 Gojo's face of 'Nope, no way. Nothing's going to happen. Not here. I won't allow it!' kills me every time.
So much love for the animators! :) Way to be a positive force, good sir.
I try
I have already subbed, liked, and shared this video… so I hope this helps beat back the evil algorithm!! Keep making great videos, brother!!
Oh wow this is the first time this has ever happened so not really sure what to do and why YT didn't tell me about it, (found scrolling through comments). Thanks so much man, this means a lot!!
Anime Wins, regarding your comment at 38:45 :
Sometimes, just sometimes the universe does us an extraordinary solid.
Marin is just a higher dimensional best/wholesome girl that it breaks my heart and fills it with infinite joy on a multiversal and quantum level.
We don't deserve her but I'm incredibly grateful to her existence. 😄
Finally its such a beautyful Anime also i Love how this Anime actually taught me a Lot of live Lessons. With actually getting *me Out of *depression.
If a single anime can "get me out of depression" then you probably weren't really depressed. Maybe you had a bad burrito?
Everybody: I love the wholesomeness and romance and characters and cosplay in this anime!
Me: Fan ser-
I'm glad you enjoyed this anime, I loved it as well. Also happy this video was this long! Keep up the great work, I'll always be watching!
YES! I've been waiting for you to cover this! This anime actually got me into slice of life anime and now I can't get enough!
The fireworks scene in the final episode was on a KyoAni level. A very fun, wholesome show that looked gorgeous from start to finish
My Dress-Up Darling is probably one of the slice of life out there
This anime is just so beautiful and Marin and Jojo's naturally growing relationship is so adorable!
I’ve never even watched this anime. I just like your voice and wanted to give you a like keeping doing you buddy👍🏽
This show is EASILY top 3 rom-com for me. I had never heard anything about it but as soon as I watched episode 1 I knew we were in for a fun ride. I ended up reading the first 5 volumes of manga and holy shit I love it so much
You are so good at what you do my god !!!
12:50 Teasing master Takagi-san gave a few hints here for sure)
I'm really glad you got to see this, and that you enjoyed it so much.
It felt so strange at first for me, I came for the "cultured" stuff but ended up remaining due to the sheer wholesomeness of them both.
Something I'd appreciate in these videos is acknowledging when the dub voice acting is on point. Marin's English VA was fantastic and I'd love when that gets mentioned because dubbing can be so hit/miss!
Either way love your videos and I totally get if the extra work checking the dub out might not be worth it!
Thanks for covering this series 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Because you do the subs I'm surprised that the MADLAD who subtitled ALL the notes didn't get a win.
Such a great show, never thought id like a show of this type as much as I do..
LETS GOOOOOO! I love your work. Keep it up!
Awesome job as always, you deserve the best
Damn good to see you back at it my friend. Absolutely love and appreciate all of your efforts. You so deserve far more exposure/subs.
I just love the anime and your humor is so funny. The fact you put all that time doing that 😭🙏
after seeing this video, I need to know how to get season 2 NOW, damn I thought I was over the nearly additiv My Dress-Up Darling consume, but now I'm right back in
God this Anime is a MASTER PIECE
It’ll hope. Just give it time friend lol, this show was a massive hit
just need to add this in! episode 2 where Marin reveals her bikini to take measurements was a "cheesecake" nod! cheesekake in portfolio terms means drawings of scantidly clad women and seeing Gojo with a cake package with the name "cheesecake" written on it was a win you unfortunatly missed out on =O
That scene with the chainsaw wielding Sadako expy was a beat by beat rendition of the ending of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Loved this anime too! love what you do and and I hope things get better!
Loved your video on this amazing anime. Your videos are always top notch and I love your amazing reactions and interpretations and analysis on animations I didn’t notice.
My only hope is that someday March comes in like a Lion will get voted in as I feel like it definitely deserves the quality of attention and detail you put in your videos.
"This animation is as smooth as warm butter spread over some delicious toast!"
DUDE!
Very good content as always
Probably my favourite slice of life with Sakamoto desu ga ?. It is so wholesome, so funny and so damn cute.
Also, Marine is a "gyaru" (I'll let you do some research on that, it's quite interesting) and from what I've heard from Japanese people, they usually don't like the typical japanese way of hiding your emotions and conforming. That's why Marin feels so refreshing as a female character and that's also why she is so playful and genuine.
so just want to say i love your channel and just leaving this to hopefully increase the appeal for TH-cam to recommend this
Watching this again. One of my favorite anime covered by one of my favorite anime youtube channel. Just fantastic Take a max 2 wins.
This is a great video. Keep making more, please.
17:32 felt like if Marin just reached out and put her hand on gojo to comfort him it would have completed the scene
I really love this anime and this video just highlighted just how great it is! Great job!
Thank you very much!
YES I was hoping you were gonna cover this show it hit me like a train xD
17:22 when the 3D tracking is so well done that no one noticed it at first glance
Hot damn i just noticed it myself, nice!
I never clicked on a video so fast
I really loved and liked characters' development in each & every episode in this fun-filled and amazing jaw-dropping unique storytellings. This is a big Big win for Manga or anime again this year 2022.
