Getting ready to purchase either a 15 honda or a 20 Mercury, not a big merc fan. How does the honda do for running slow. Fish walleyes mostly and troll fairly slow. How slow will it go
hondas are exceptional for slow trolling, they are also very reliable :) mercury isnt bad either, most outboards do well but honda just has a special spot in our purchase options. We have the 9.9 and 15 and they are both great little motors.
they are almost identical in size, we have the 9.9hp as well, ours is more basic since we lift it off our aluminum 12' boat. The 9.9 is also a bit more legally safe since you dont need registration/licensing for most users here in Canada. The 15hp is slightly more powerful (350cc vs 222cc), even the lower units are identical.
@@dangerousdriverschannel You have an inflatable boat with the Honda 15? 19 mph? I have an inflatable with a 15 Horse Chrysler Sea King. It will go 19 with just me.
Fantastic brother 👍👍👍

Honestly it was a slow motor. So i would think it would be perfect for that. Especially with the right prop. Very quiet motor

Is this motor faster than a 2001 Johnson 9.9 2 stroke? Seems the same in the video but it depends on the boat ofc
@rockard94 I think 4 stroke engines are generally slower then 2 strokes. Alot of factors there though. Sure is a gas saver though!
Fixing to put one on my 1652. How did it do fully loaded down with guys and gear?
I had it on the boat to check operation to sell, so i didnt run it long. But i do think itd do just fine. Had alot of torque. Thanks for watching
We just got the 9.9hp, and can’t wait to take it out.

What prop size/pitch are you using?
Freaking awesome
Sir, how many gallons/h he drinks?
Doesnt use much. Very efficient
0.14 liter at top speed (38.3 km/h) ... 15 km/h = 0.2 liter... 5 km/h = 0.1 liter
Per kilometer?
Top speed?
Id call it a slower motor. 20 ballpark
@@Riveraddictions I have Honwave T32 with Honda BF15 .... 19 kn
