The thing that makes Trivia Murder Party so cool for me is that they specifically went out of their way to pick like bullshit dumb questions, because then everybody feels like they aren't in the know, and when you do get one it makes you feel like "wow I can't believe that knowledge actually came in handy!"

iirc, they mostly fixed this issue in TMP2 by adding a filter for that specific thing in the options unfortunately, joel is playing TMP1 here so that doesn't exist yet edit: okay watched it, he absolutely loved it. which i'm glad about bc TMP is one of my favorites
Personally being kids "unplayable" was always the spirit of TMP. Even if they ask to Joel "who's swedish author wrote this swedish novel" would probably not answer correctly
Joel, if you like Trivia Murder Party, you should play the You Don't Know Jack games that Jackbox made. It's a similar game with silly trivia and the host is really funny. You can play the newest one in Jackbox Party Pack 5, and you can play it solo as well!
TL;DR: It nukes every last file on your root drive. On top of losing all your user files the entire OS is gone and you have an entirely wiped hard drive. It used to be basically the Linux equivalent of joking about deleting System32, except theres no recovering from it like you can Windows unless you had a full system backup on a different drive. "sudo" runs commands as root, basically the Linux version of "Run as Administrator" in Windows. "rm" is the remove command used to delete files. "-r" makes it recursive, so it will delete entire directories, not just the files inside them. "-f" forces it to delete otherwise protected files. "/" specifies the root of your drive, equivalent of C:\ on Windows. Not really something you can do by accident anymore, for the past decade or so you've needed to also add "--no-preserve-root" as a failsafe to prove you are 100% sure you want to do it.
For a channel called "Uncut Full Streams" There sure are a lot of cuts. Hearing the music constantly skip around is awful. Otherwise, glad to see the Jackbox stuff is being preserved. Hope you do more Joel, they're way too much fun.
