Loving the content. I’ve been using the Valere app for the last 6 months and made some really good progress. I have a history of sciatica and a few surgeries which left me with some muscle wastage in my left leg mainly the calf. I do notice a difference in strength between the right and left leg and also some nerve sensitivity when doing single leg exercise especially seated calf raises. My question is, should I lift the same weight load for each leg? In my case lifting whatever the limitation of my weaker left leg is or should I be lifting/pushing heavier loads for my right leg? Or will that make me less balanced? Thanks in advance.
Hi! Thanks for using the app and the feedback ☺️ we would recommend sticking to the weight of the weaker leg (in your case the left) as you are correct in thinking if you did more on the right it may develop more of a discrepancy. Single leg exercises will still be a great choice for you though to target the relative weakness. I’d consider adding 1-2 sets of double leg at the start though as this could increase neural activity to the left leg which may help in future sets ☺️
Great information, thanks! When are you going to launch the Android app?
