Lukas' macros and scripts are very useful, they really improve the software and he updates them on occasion, I will definitely be picking this up and glad that you featured it as I had no idea of its release . Great demo as well .
I just want to say Thank You so much for this channel, I'm new to working with a DAW and I purchased Studio one and your channel has helped me learn so much, and you explain everything so well its easy to learn. Again thank you so much for your videos and channel. 😁
Damn. Bought it IMMEDIATELY. I'm a theory wonk, but sometimes lack inspiration. What a great sketch tool. You can use it to flesh out an idea, then take it to the next level on your own if you want. Wonderful.
Wow thats amazing. I have waited for the chord inversion and quantize chord tool for years. That's gold for my filmscore work. Thanks for letting us know about this.
Fantastic tool Mike. Thanks for the easy to follow run through. I hope you can add some more to explore some of the other features. I have already purchased this excellent and very flexible plug-in.
To my understanding, having a bass track with the melody means that the melody is already harmonized. I am assuming that Harmony Wizard assumes all the bass notes are the roots of the chords, and then builds its chords accordingly. So the user will have to create a bass accompaniment to the melody before using Harmony Wizard. However, the Orchestration features seem to provide some valuable timesaving tools, and the integration with Studio One is nicely done indeed.
Not really, it depends on the Harmonize mode. You can harmonize by using the scale or the Chord Track or random chords in the scale. This does not necessarily mean that it will use the note selection as root notes.
Hey- Sorry to tell you Mike that I tried the (Insert Chords from Chord Track Command) and the chords go ascending up , and up and up on each following bar, until they can't go any further and end up being a single note . So on your example- it will work for a little 10 bars or so- BUT don't expect it (Insert Chords from Chord Track Command) to work on an entire song with over 120 bars. - Sorry- I do like how it adds the Guitar chords. ☹
So the guy that made this works for S1, why wouldn't this be included in an update? Paying for add ons gets tiring, especially when daws like Fl Studio give you crazy amount of features with free updates.
Hi, I don't currently work for Studio One, I'm a freelance composer and software developer. Harmony Wizard is a side project I created to offer additional features for composers and producers. I've aimed to keep it affordable while delivering real value. While FL Studio is a great DAW, I don't think it covers everything my add-on offers. -LR
@@studioonetutorials Hi. It looks cool. Does it work with Studio One 5? And Is it available to perpetual license S1 users and not just in the subscription model?
@@EricJohnson-fh8zj I would have loved to offer it for Studio One 5, but unfortunately it was not possible for technical reasons. It's available for purchase for all Studio One users!
To be honest I haven't seen a DAW that has all these features and I know them all. I mean, Distribute Chords... Alternative Chords in Scale... wow!! Derive Scales from Chord Track... Merge only adjacent Notes. Whaat!! Create voicings for strings or woodwinds and arrange them to tracks!!! That's gold for my filmscore work.
@studioonetutorials yes I did that but it puts the chords right on the same page with the melody. What if I want the chords seperate on another channel. ??
@@teddybeargram3 This is also very easy to do. That's why Harmony Wizard has an option to select the added chord notes. This selection can easily be copied or transferred to another track. Have a look at my voice selection tutorial, I covered this topic in detail.

Hi, Mike. I can tell you put a crap-ton of time into not just making the vid, but learning this function. THANKS!

This looks very cool! Thanks for bringing this to our attention🙂
Moved from S1 to Logic Pro, but this has me rethinking that move😅.
Nicely done as always ,-) Lukas did a tremendous job with this tool

Very cool!! Cant wait to try it!
Hi Mike, hope you are well. Thanks for the heads up on this very useful software extension for Studio One. 👍
It's a great tool, I feel it's going to be a great time savor.
Great demo! Thanks Mike!
More intuitive and powerful strum than the crab hands solution S1 finally added i can never remember
Yeah - I keep forgetting that one too! Alt+shift something something...
This is an amazing tool! Thank you 🙏🏾
OOh. This looks so useful as a composition tool. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent Mike !! Thanks!
Super !
Thank you so much for this video! It was very helpful and well explained. I really appreciate the effort you put into sharing this information!
I like this feature. Super easy to undersdtand demo as usual with you. Will is work on vocal harmonies
very interesting. looks like a good investment to further enhance what you already have created. thanks for the review.

Nice! But chord track doesn't exist in SO Artist version, unfortunately.
The guitar sounds like a piano !
Amazing power tool… is it possible to change the language…. ?
Thank you! Only English for now.

Does it work with studio one Artist or pro ?
It works with the Artist version of Studio One 6, too.
The scale features should work fine. Please write me an email and provide some details so that I can look into it.
Another thing in Studio One that other DAWs do natively that I get to pay for? Sign me up

Cool, we are glad to have you! Now, we can start with you giving your credit card number, and we’ll move on from there. 😉
You used the bass midi to make chords. What if I wanted to make chords from the melody itself.
You can do this, too, with the menus in the "Harmonize Melody" section.

Is this available in studio one 4?
I believe it's only for S1 6+
@@CreativeSauce - Correct. v6.6 and higher.
I’ve got studio 1 5. So I can’t get this then?
@@Jekaniah-jm7gqdon't worry you are not the only one. I'm waiting for version 7. Still on 5.
I don’t think it’s worth the money. If you know your theory you won’t need it, yes it’s easier but it’s not brilliant.
"If you know your theory" you still can't add thirds with one click, or strum and arpeggiate guitar-like chord voicings with one click
@@foljs5858I wouldn’t use a keyboard to do guitar like voicings and adding thirds is not hard.
@@garethde-witt6433 one click was his main point.... All the theory in the world won't let you sketch ideas with again, one click.
