My grandpa tom had a Farmall H, had the wide axle in front, i remember it starting much easier than this one funny thing is its that rust spot all over it, learned how to drive a tractor on it.
My H is my favorite tractor. It's a little less power than my M, but most chores it's not really enough to notice tbh. The 656 is nice, but usually overkill for what I need to do almost always.
I have a 1941 H my favorite tractor I own! I never seen a 41 with a plastic knob on the shifter mine does not have plastic and the seat bracket is a half moon shape pipe.. are you sure its a 41?
Another good thing about a tricycle front end, you can store stuff under and all around your tractor. Great tractor.

They made aprox. 450,000 Farmall H . That's more than any other farm tractor model to this day.
Sounds like a real nice runner!

Those are add on switches ,
These old tractors run off a magneto so idk what that other switch is for
They can be upgraded to use the modern 12v electrical system.
have these tractors and never take care of them. why.?. fix the leaks on the gas and underneath.
