    Code : github.com/net...
Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) is a fully managed message queuing service that enables the decoupling and scaling of microservices, distributed systems, and serverless applications. SQS takes care of the complexity and complexity of managing and operating message-oriented middleware. This allows each developer to devote himself entirely to his actual work. With SQS, you can send, store, and receive messages between software components of any size and quantity without message loss and without the need for additional services. SQS is up and running in minutes - through the AWS console, command-line interface, or SDK of your choice, with just three simple commands.
SQS provides two types of message queues: standard queues provide maximum throughput, best performing ordering, and at least one delivery. SQS FIFO queues ensure that messages are processed exactly one time in the exact order in which they were sent.
    advantages
    Eliminate the administrative burden
AWS manages all running operations and the underlying infrastructure for a highly available and scalable message queue service. With SQS, there is no up-front cost, messaging software to purchase, install and configure, and no time-consuming set-up and maintenance of the supporting infrastructure. SQS queues are dynamically created and automatically scaled to help you develop and grow applications quickly and efficiently.
    Protect your sensitive data
With Amazon SQS, you can move sensitive data between applications and encrypt each message with server-side encryption (SSE encryption). With the Amazon SQS SSE integration with AWS Key Management Service (KSM), you can manage the keys that protect SQS messages with the keys that protect your other AWS resources in one place. AWS KMS tracks every use of your encryption key in AWS CloudTrail to help you meet your regulatory and compliance needs.
    Reliable message delivery
With Amazon SQS, you can transfer any volume of data at the desired throughput - without message loss and without the need for additional services. SQS allows you to decouple application components so that they run and fail independently, increasing the overall system fault tolerance. Each message stores multiple copies redundantly in multiple Availability Zones, so they are always available when needed.
    Flexible and cost-effective scaling
Amazon SQS uses the AWS cloud for dynamic, on-demand scaling. SQS scales flexibly with your application so you do not have to worry about capacity planning and pre-deployment. There is no limit to the number of messages per queue, and standard queues allow almost unlimited throughput. Costs are based on usage, resulting in high cost savings over the "always-on" self-managed messaging middleware model.
What Are the Main Benefits of Amazon SQS?
Security - You control who can send messages to and receive messages from an Amazon SQS queue.
Server-side encryption (SSE) lets you transmit sensitive data by protecting the contents of messages in queues using keys managed in AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS).
Durability - To ensure the safety of your messages, Amazon SQS stores them on multiple servers. Standard queues support at-least-once message delivery, and FIFO queues support exactly-once message processing.
Availability - Amazon SQS uses redundant infrastructure to provide highly-concurrent access to messages and high availability for producing and consuming messages.
Scalability - Amazon SQS can process each buffered request independently, scaling transparently to handle any load increases or spikes without any provisioning instructions.
Reliability - Amazon SQS locks your messages during processing, so that multiple producers can send and multiple consumers can receive messages at the same time.
Customization - Your queues don't have to be exactly alike-for example, you can set a default delay on a queue. You can store the contents of messages larger than 256 KB using Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) or Amazon DynamoDB, with Amazon SQS holding a pointer to the Amazon S3 object, or you can split a large message into smaller messages.
How Can I Get Started with Amazon SQS?
To create your first queue with Amazon SQS and send, receive, and delete a message, see Getting Started with Amazon SQS.
To discover the functionality and architecture of Amazon SQS, see How Amazon SQS Works.
To find out the guidelines and caveats that will help you make the most of Amazon SQS, see Best Practices for Amazon SQS.
To learn about Amazon SQS actions, see the Amazon Simple Queue Service API Reference.

Superb.. Got an clear understanding of the topic.. Also you said about attaching role to user.. Aws knows folks can understand what you meant in this video as role to the iam user which is iam policy.. If you could add how we should host the app in aws production with basic recommendations interms of security, dns, high availability etc.. would help much better.
