Block paired with Vert is the way to go. I got a 99 block on my 6’11 and most of the blocks I can promise are cause of my 85 vert. Way better animations
I think what makes the difference is the vertical on my 6’11 center build I’m able to put rebound chaser on silver and anchor on silver and able to snag on 7’0 -7’3 due to the 90 vertical it’s like my build has rockets in his calf muscles!
I will say, i have builds with high and low block ratings. With IQ not sitting under the rim to block shots I think you can block shots pretty frequently from 70 on up. Obviously tho 99 blk just brings that up a notch. But it's funny when people complain about not blocking shots with a 99 blk, but sit under the rim trying to block shots.

@@llniacinll I made the build the finishing was neglected but i can shoot, i get silver break starter, 96 interior, 93 block, and 99 rebound and the build is so nasty 😭. i also get 20+ boards a game. once i get my overall up and can get than 99 interior and 99 offensive rebound no one's touching in the paint 🤣
I use 88 block with good vert for best results cause you can run HOF chase down, I had a 6’11 99 block but I felt like anchor HOF gives you a higher hard foul tendency and I don’t really need that since since I’m usually in place with the HOF chase down and vert

It’s super worth it . I play ranked pro am . We played a game where the center and the pf had it . We couldn’t make a Danm dunk we were missing like Crazy. One more thing you need high vertical with it I use slasher takeover to get 99 vert
I made your 7 foot playmaker so I have 80 vert and 99 block and it serves me very well. I think people havevto consider its not just block, it is a combination of block, vert, badges (and for chasedowns speed I think)

I rather have 93 block rating with high perimeter defense and lockdown takeover. Rim take and 99 not really worth it to me

I'd suggest ppl go no higher than 93 and use the leftover attribute points on rebounding. Or Perim/interior D if your rebounding is already at 99.
is 99 Block worth it, I guess really depends on the position, BUT IMO no I think 93 is the money spot, 99 anything is just to much this year it seems, and can handicap builds. NOW I say this as someone who strictly makes builds catered around maximizing its ratings at a 92ovr cap( way less stress playing REC when the top OVR is 92 LOL) BUT will also say having 99 block and HOF Anchor on a 6'9 PG with 82 Vert is ALOT of fun, Dunking,passing and blocking have been my fav thing this yr in 2k so I said screw it lets try 99 block on a PG LOL. I will say tho all my other PG builds(also 6'9) have had 75 Blocking and 82vert, and I still would get 2-5 blocks per game with Bronze anchor and Gold Chase down, my builds typically cap at 75 speed so that impacts the chase down im sure.

Same I only run both on silver but the vertical is the game changer fr. The badge is just an added bonus

In my opinion if you’re 7ft or taller maybe 6’11 I’ll say 99 block is worth it, other than that I’ll say 87 or 93 block is still worth it.
