I hate the term, but ..... "it depends". If you have a copy with Crossmix preinstalled, then yes. If it's the stock OS, then no. The stock OS comes with some Portmaster games, but you can't add your own ports at least I couldnt get it working. Wait for the official release of Crossmix or get a copy from one of those pre-installed cards sold on LitNXT if you're impatient.
You can also download crossmix 1.3.0 and it works just fine. I know its nor suggested but it works fine and if you know how to tweak settings you can get it to work even bettr. I have copied my portmaster roms from my TSP and they all work great!
Hi, thanks for the video! It was great. However, I would like to know more about setting the Best collections. I followed your instructions but it doesn’t work.
Based on the issue it could be a few things. I believe roms need to be uncompressed. Also, check the supported list of supported rom extensions. Take a look here for a nice template with a bit more details on rom extensions for each core : github.com/acatone-git/TSP-CustomCollection
Thank you for all this tips & tricks. One feature missing on this device is ability to install other cores on retroarch. I would like to enjoy old Commodore 64 games :) My understanding is it is not possible with this device. What do you think ?
I don't have a stock card on hand right now, as I am away on a trip, but if it is not included in stock, it should be available in Crossmix OS. I would just wait for the official Crossmix release and upgrade to Crossmix.
I bought the trimui brick without the sd card cos I thought i would buy a sandisk sd card anyways but I forgot the included sd card might have the necessary files in order for it to run...
This Alladin (Mega Drive?) seems to work a bit slowly. It worries me a bit because I would like to buy this equipment specifically for emulating 16-bit consoles...
You are good; it has no issues with any 16-bit titles I have tried. They looks great, and all the titles I have tested run without any hiccups or stutter.
CrossMix is essentially an improved stock. Definitely setting it up once it is available or if you can get a preconfigured card, it might be worth getting it.
As far as I am aware, it has not been officially released but like @waitingcoyote1963 said some sellers do have preconfigured sd-cards that are being sold with the device for an additional fee.
I love my Miyoo Mini Plus. Great device, but the Brick is a nicer looking device with an amazing screen. I think if someone already has a Miyoo Mini Plus, I wouldn't recommend upgrading. If you are trying to decide between the two, well, the Brick is a better value in my opinion.
@@muzzworks I will go for it when the price goes a little lower, it will be my first, I want to use for gba Pokemon hack roms, do you know if it is possible to play games made by RPG maker, because I saw the app easy rpg and it could be interesting to know
I have never tried it, but EasyRPG is comparable with games made in RPG Maker. So it is included, but I am not sure how accurate or full-featured it is.
I just got mine yesterday, they don't come with clear buttons anymore. Same with a friend's unit too. No clear buttons.
Sorry, looks like these were included in some review units. They are available as a separate purchase. Sorry about the confusion.
Thanks alot. Great video.
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks!
Can you get portmaster to work on this. I tried but nothing will load.

Let me know what part didn't work. I will try to help out.
@@muzzworks Thanks! When I add games into the Best/xxx/Roms, I can see them in the list, but all games are unable to run.

@ Wow! Thank you so much! I will try it out!

The search doesnt seem to search everything for me. Is it like that for anyone else?
Can i put done set 2 on this
If it's just a ROM set, it should work fine. Simply place the ROMs in the correct folder, and you're golden.

I think you can grab the base image from their GitHub page right here: github.com/trimui
Preesh
Also subbed. Let's see it grow bb.

What about CrossMix-OS? Is it worth setting that up or staying stock?
CrossMix is essentially an improved stock. Definitely setting it up once it is available or if you can get a preconfigured card, it might be worth getting it.
Crossmix установить возможно ?
I have a ver of crossmix os on my own trimui brick but, it's from a different seller. Setup is easy but, I got a preconfigured sd card.

Heavy statement that too Mich reviews Saida that replace miyoo mini

I have both and the brick is strictly better, the screen is amazing, onion is good but minui is very underrated
