Most of the places in the village are run by the Burmese not Thais. My hunch is the owners are all Bangkok rich Thais. Difficult at times to understand her but yes she was very kind. The village is a great place to spend a few days far away from your typical foreign mayhem and confusion.

.. . always humble, friendly, clean environmental people. Feels good just walking around. Cool weather, judging from the flowers. Another path less travel. Cheers.

A beautiful quiet place to spend a few days. My hunch is boring for most foreigners. Thank you for watching and your comment. Please give a LIKE if you enjoyed this episode.

Great new video introduction, my friend, it's been a while since my last visit. The peace and quiet in this village is wonderful, I'd love to go for a visit some time. Very nice filming. A pity that the video resolution sis not so good, but the content is what matters the most. Big L11 and greetings from Bangkok!

The video resolution issue might be due to uploading at SD was HD and somehow changed and unable to fix the problem at this time.
A beautiful quiet place my hunch is foreigners would be bored crazy after a few hours. I loved the place and plan to return some day.

@@destinationsroadslesstraveled Having a camera at hand, it would take quite long for me to get bored 😄

Myself included and speaking Thai certainly helps.

I love the saturated color you used on this one. I love Thailand. I wish I lived there.

I used it in some cases but try to have as much natural colors as possible when editing.
Not impossible to live here but not easy for most. In my opinion the majority of expats who refuse to learn Thai are miserable here. Scowls on the faces of even tourists is a common sight. Will never understand why visit or live here if you are so miserable and terrified of everything outside of your comfort zone.

Great you found a way up there... I really like the old school coffee place in the middle of the 'High Street'... Did you visit any of the mines?

Did not visit the mine itself but had a very peaceful few days there. A great place if you seek peace and quiet.
I think I found the ferry landing on the lake but still uncertain how I am able to get to the village that you visited where the tigers were sighted.

It is during the nights being up in the mountains. A beautiful place to spend a few days just relaxing.
