Isabella's +3 hero capacity, +25% weapon damage for heroes, as well as the Mad Count unique building buffs, combined with the Lahmian bloodline's hero upkeep reduction, makes for one of the strongest early game plays in all of TWWH2, easily.
Hero play is always endgame play but she just does it early on. As if chaff can stop wind of death. (Heroes don't get hurt by spells like those). Every factions most optimal way of destroying hordes of chaos and other shit is to bomb it with magic when they blob up and welp vampires has it all.

Sad, but i like the crossbowmen Pretty nice to get at least a little bit of ranged. Not tier but in campagin they do thair job pretty well.
Immunity to untainted attrition and the best combat lord makes the Blood Dragons the most powerful bloodline. I honestly don’t think there’s a reason to awaken a Necrarch aside from that research buff when it seems that the Von Carsteins and Lahmians have a better spell selection. And the new Strigoi is a Ghoul King on steroids, with an insane amount of AP. He is your anti-dwarf lord. Anyone with low leadership (like Orcs or Beastmen) is going to get messed up by the Lahmian. Tbh the Necrarch bonuses to winds of magic and upkeep are pretty big end game when you have lots of armies. The Lahmian is going to get you blood kisses so much faster through assassination that getting her first or second will probably pay off pretty quick anyway.

The reasons vampires own/frequent night clubs should be rather obvious. They're open at night, crowded with people either drunk or tripping balls, and are one of the few places where public neck sucking is deemed appropriate. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more ideal environment for a vampire to feed in relative safety. Also Vampire: The Masquerade did it, and Blade ripped off that and every subsequent vampire setting ripped off Blade until Twilight happened.
Bit late to the party but the sooner you get into the Lahmians the sooner you can unlock all of the other Bloodlines. The more assassins you have roaming the map the more Blood Kisses you can harvest.
although I like the undead, I find it not lore friendly for them to have missle units at all. neither the vampire coast nor the vampire counts. Nehekara is diffrent in that regard since they are another form of undead.
Any idea about the traits you get in the Bloodline Lords? I have some of them but they are stuck with one trait, it doesn't change at all, do we need to save and try every turn to not being stuck with a bad trait? I don't know if this is working as intended or if I got a bug due to some addons.
Cheers for the video! All these new lords look great and i can't wait to play them, but i hope they don't outshine the actual LL...how have their skill trees been reworked (if at all)?
That's really stupid. They really should've changed the Battle Skills for each of the bloodlines, instead of just giving them all the same thing. I just don't know why the devs don't treat these newer lord types more like Wurrzag, with each of them getting their own particular buffs for the troops associated with them. Like with the Strigoi Ghoul King, who should've gotten extra bonuses for Crypt Ghouls and Horrors and monstrous units and so on with the others.
i think they can, but in practice basically non of them ever do, because elves live much longer than humans anyway, so they never really had a strong desire as humans for that extended lifespan, elves kinda get the vampire benefits without the drawbacks already
The only non human vampire to appear in canon was a halfling. Konrad von Carstein made him as a joke and Mannfred hunted him down because he was an abomination and a blight on the bloodline.
Very cool and nice! But do anyone think is just OP all this? I mean, -80% discount or bonus for every vampire think... isnt so funny to play in campaign. Just think a lamnia liv 10 hero, with bloodline and personal ability reach a 120% discount for a action? In right?
Most powerful 'melee combatant' in the lore perhaps, but I think anyone who suggests Abhorash or Aenarion or Gotrek or the likes as the most powerful character in the lore must clearly just not have done their homework on the Slann and how absolutely hilariously powerful they are, and especially Mazdamundi and Lord Kroak. In the lore, of course. It's not remotely reflected in the tabletop or game. Killed an ancient dragon? Won a shitload of duels? Wow, so impressive. Flattening whole cities with a single spell or literally creating a new mountain range, that's Mazdamundi-power, and he's supposedly way weaker than Kroak :p
If the Strigoi is +5 Vampiric corruption in ALL provinces, instead of just provinces you own, then I think that has to take priority next to that immediate 25% research rate.

I'm kinda bumbed out by this bloodlines mechanic... It muddles the waters of the bloodlines for Vampire Counts. I maybe alone in this but to me it makes no sense for one bloodline to have other bloodlines working for them. CA should be doing more to separate them and make them more distinct, not bring them together. That being said I'm fine with making other bloodlines sub-factions of VC but their lords and LLs souldn't be mixed. Especially now that the Strygos Empire and Necrarch Brotherhood are in the game as NPC factions, it wouldn't take much to turn then into unique playable subfactions. Strygos Empire: Legendary Lord - Ushoran (New LL model to replace the generic Strygoi Ghoul King model.) Lords - Strygoi Ghoul King (Nothing new there just lift them from VC) - Master Necromancers Sub-faction traits - Lower recruitment cost & bonuses to Crypt Ghouls, Crypt Horrors, Vargheists and Varghulfs Necrarch Brotherhood: Legendary Lord - W'soran (New LL model to replace the generic Strygoi Ghoul King model.) Lords - Necrarch Vampire (New model to replace the generic Vampire Lord) - Master Necromancers Sub-faction traits - Lower recruitment cost & bonuses to all Undead and Wraith units (excluding Ghouls. Monsters and Breasts) We can use the same logic for Silver Pinnacle in TW:WH3 and maybe even Dieter Helsnicht could get his Doom Legion sub-faction like at some point like Kemmler's Barrow Legion. Oh almost forgot Abhorash & Walach Harkon for the Blood Dragons with their bonus to Bloods Knights.
If I recall correctly, the problem is really "what edition lore do you want to use", as I think in the last edition of warhammer fantasy it was all just sylvania and the von carstiens. Blending in more of the older edition lore is a great thing, I think, but sticking strictly to like, 2nd or 3rd edition lore alone wouldn't work out too much in the TW game.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more ideal environment for a vampire to feed in relative safety.
Also Vampire: The Masquerade did it, and Blade ripped off that and every subsequent vampire setting ripped off Blade until Twilight happened.
9:40 because their only other option is a night shop.
I hope this means Tomb Kings get Immortality as well automatically.
Tomb king lords were always immortal
Lahmian without coven throne but with dragon :(
Was not giving the Strigoi Ghoul King an overcasted invocation of nehek purely a balance thing?
Any idea about the traits you get in the Bloodline Lords? I have some of them but they are stuck with one trait, it doesn't change at all, do we need to save and try every turn to not being stuck with a bad trait? I don't know if this is working as intended or if I got a bug due to some addons.
Cheers for the video! All these new lords look great and i can't wait to play them, but i hope they don't outshine the actual LL...how have their skill trees been reworked (if at all)?
I guess it is cool to not have to get all the mounts. hopefully they would change that with all the other lord.
this is nice:)
Have there been any changes to the DLC strigoi ghoul king? The red lines for the DLC and FLC versions are a bit different.
"Strigowi", heh.
Can any other race besides humans become vampires? I always imagined a dark elf vampie
i think they can, but in practice basically non of them ever do, because elves live much longer than humans anyway, so they never really had a strong desire as humans for that extended lifespan, elves kinda get the vampire benefits without the drawbacks already
The only non human vampire to appear in canon was a halfling. Konrad von Carstein made him as a joke and Mannfred hunted him down because he was an abomination and a blight on the bloodline.
In one comic, a dwarf wished for immortality on a cursed artifact of Tzeentch and was turned into a vampire.
Strgoi>
Very cool and nice! But do anyone think is just OP all this? I mean, -80% discount or bonus for every vampire think... isnt so funny to play in campaign. Just think a lamnia liv 10 hero, with bloodline and personal ability reach a 120% discount for a action? In right?
In your test did you use kboleks star crusher? Or only the blood dragons abilities
Both
Who would want to play the boring legendary lords now when these cool blood line lords come out
Btw did vlad got a rework ? I mean he should have some new abilitys too right?
Did the blog dragon beat tyrion in your tests , if so then god damn .
As much as I'm a fan of all of the bloodlines except for the boring Von Carsteins... INFINITE FELL BATS does sound somewhat appealing...
did you try to test the blood dragon lord against Wulfrik on and off a mammoth?
Yup!
oof so much for the awesome "hunter of champions" and "master duelist" I mean his whole thing is to be able to best anyone in a duel XD
Is this already in the game?
What BL book does most of this lore come from?
Balefire brassieres!? Brazier is pronounced more like "bray-sure." Unless some vampires shoot dark fire out of their tits.
It'd say mapwide, not all provinces, if that was the case.
Yea, all provinces means all your owned provinces. Would be WAY TOO POWERFUL if it was every single province everywhere.
I like your content but sometimes you just sound a little too excited or enthused when you’re talking about things that don’t justify that (in my opinion anyway) lol. Like little stat boosts or something. Normally I don’t really mind (and don’t get me wrong in general I appreciate enthusiasm) but if I’m in a certain mood it can get pretty annoying lol (you are similar to MilkandcookiesTW in this regard, I like both of you in general but this particular thing can get on my nerves from time to time).
What stops someone from getting all of them?
Dade Gilbert Nothing, but it will take a while especially if you're going for the tier 3 abilities.
Its not Carshtein its Carstein ;)
untrue. the proper pronunciation of Carstein is Carshtein.
@@italianspartacus i will highly suggest you to check it out as it is not like that,I dont know where you heard it but it is neither german pronunciation or anything with a sh
Anyway you do you
Thank you for the spoiler warning.
Going to try an all female leaders and heroes campaign.
Isabella, Lhamians lords with vampire and banshee heroes.
Whoops
CarSTIEN NOT CarSHTIEN
incorrect! german pronunciation is carSHtein :)
@@italianspartacus in the context of warhammer, no thats wrong, but in german pronounciation, yes
Strygos Empire:
Legendary Lord
- Ushoran (New LL model to replace the generic Strygoi Ghoul King model.)
Lords
- Strygoi Ghoul King (Nothing new there just lift them from VC)
- Master Necromancers
Sub-faction traits - Lower recruitment cost & bonuses to Crypt Ghouls, Crypt Horrors, Vargheists and Varghulfs
Necrarch Brotherhood:
Legendary Lord
- W'soran (New LL model to replace the generic Strygoi Ghoul King model.)
Lords
- Necrarch Vampire (New model to replace the generic Vampire Lord)
- Master Necromancers
Sub-faction traits - Lower recruitment cost & bonuses to all Undead and Wraith units (excluding Ghouls. Monsters and Breasts)
We can use the same logic for Silver Pinnacle in TW:WH3 and maybe even Dieter Helsnicht could get his Doom Legion sub-faction like at some point like Kemmler's Barrow Legion.
@@vineveer4358 the last edition is basically end times and TW:WH is based in on more than just 8th Edition it draws on all. Most of the main Vampires from previous editions were mention to have been around During End times, plus we hgot new ones too but don't know if CA will include the new ones..
The various bloodlines can and do work together.
