cramulet doesn't work at the end, you need a ghostspeak, you can right click the cramulet and dismantle to get it back. Dude in lumby swamp won't give you another if you have a cramulet already

Definitely equip your ghostspeak amulet when talking to the ghost deciples to get the ecto-tokens. :)
You also cannot enter Port Phasmatys without having the ghostspeaker amulet equipped. Even paying the 2 ecto-tokens doesn't help.
When you are following the map steps you can just click the ground and count your steps. You dont have to use the map and add them up etc

You can click to walk in rs3, no need to click follow on the map. Also cramulet doesn't work, need to dismantle it.
you dont need to follow the treasure map instructions. just go on the place where the Book of haricanto is and dig :)
