If you staple anywhere on the top of your cover you should use stainless steel staples as they last longer and do not corrode. I have been in the business since 1985 but worked for a Marine upholstery shop at 19 and then opened my shop in 1985 with doing my own stuff for myself in between and have been sewing since I was 9 years old. I will be 67 this year. I personally have never stapled in the top portion of my table cover and check it regularly to make sure it stays true. As long as your shop is under AC and Heated you should be fine. I live in humid southeast FL and mine is as true as the day I stapled it on. I do need a new one though and loved the video and your beautiful blue window treatments as well. Nice work!
