- General Hospital June 20-22, 2005. Jason begins to suspect somethings off about Dr. Thomas. Sam and Emily continue to bond caring for Michael. Sam helps emily with her sex life and Emily helps Sam deal with Jason's loyalty to Carly. Meanwhile Jason deals with Carly/Reese/Sonny/Rick problems. Carly refuses to let go of the idea reese is after her. Durant is shot and Michael risks all when Alan accuses Jason. Monica comes to the rescue and Jason, Sam, & Michael share a special moment upon his release. Sam and Jason have their first lovers quarrel over his involvement in Michael's therapy and prejudice against Dr. Thomas. Sam tells him she feels like a fish swimming upstream in a school of one. Jason calls to apologize but finds sonny moving Reese into his old penthouse.
loved how Emily and Sam were able to have this great girl talk because I really loved the both of them. And im so glad they liked each other

Y’all can say what you want about the quartermaines but Monica loved Jason to a fault she had his back when he was shot and dying she always defended him against the rest of the family Monica never let the choices that Jason made for him get in the way of the love she has for her she’s a true definition of a mother’s love is unconditional and I respect her so much for that

@@CAM8689 exactly. Jason was always the "golden son" even though he was the out of wedlock son conceived during an affair. The first few years of AJ's life, Alan refused to acknowledge AJ was his son because of Monica's affair with her ex husband. AJ has always known he was the "second son" and it fueled his addiction and dysfunction.
There's no good reason for anyone to stick up for Jason. Alan spoke the truth.

I see why Jason left the quartermaine's house, Allen is one awful man. I understand you don't like his life choices but to completely write him off and say that your son is dead really shows what type of parent he is. Allen was a horrible father and deserved everything bad that he got. Monica on the other hand was much Better to Jason than Allen was. And she checked him and told him just right. Allen was a miserable old man. How did he think poor Micheal would have wanted anything to do with him when all he did was talk down on his parents. SMH 🤦🏾♀️ Jason dodged a bullet getting away.

Alan wasn't an awful man and he wasn't an awful father. He was right about everything he said. What Monica said was completely hypocritical. She threw AJ to the jackals.
@@thepainolympics4111 Alan is a awful man, he always treated Aj like garbage and makes Jason his only son. And he also the reason that Aj having a drinking problem and Jason end up having a brain damage by making him professional killer.

Not true. Alan stuck up for AJ after Alan got sober in 1998 and continued after AJ's death. Monica threw AJ to the jackals and just postured in front of other people to make it look good.
Watching this all over again. But I remember the history of AJ and Jason. Both children were affair babies, at least Jason was. Alan thought AJ belonged to Rick Webber and hated the child. When Alan came home with Jason after his mother had been murdered, Monica spent the better part of his young life calling him a "bastard". Neither one of them is blameless for the way their kids turned out.
I have only seen clips saved from the early 1980 but I don't ever remember Monica calling baby jason a bastard Alan decently used the word bastard liberally..
