Man you pushed him to the ropes. Really could have been anyone’s game.

I feel like he wasn't trying until game 5... but it would've been a nice scalp. Was definitely thinking about the potential adjustment while I was playing during game 5 😂

You almost had him man. His forehand grip switch is crazy.

Low key I was calculating the point adjustment in my head during game 5 LOL (jk jk 😂)
I felt like he wasn't really trying until game 5 tbh

Michael is the weirdest player I've ever played. I only played him once, but now that I've seen this game I understand even less. He's rated 2000+ and seems to be focused on those weird all-out forehand shots that only use the elbow and not the rest of the body, but at the same time he tends to forehand push a lot of balls that seem pretty good for an attack. From the backhand he has absolutely nothing, but he's good at fishing balls from the back of the court. I really don't understand :)

Yeah… he has a monstrous forehand that’s effectively unblockable given the right set-up. I felt like this match was just a battle of the forehands 👊

Let me know if I can shed any light on my play style 😊. I did struggle a lot at this tournament due to using year old rubber (not smart). I was also trying to save energy for the 2150 finals after this match, which was a mistake since Josh played a very good game.

His forehand is unstoppable when he gets the right set-up
