- In this video i spend two days hunting a NSW State Forest. I try and capture the highs and lows of hunting. I also am successfully and manage to take my first goat with a compound bow.

Thank mate, yea nothing worse than sitting around the campfire wondering about the animal. Was a welcome relief to find the billy in the morning.

It’s so easy to get cooked in these parks and it always surprises me how far you travel even when only slowly stalking.

Yea i tried to capture the highs and lows from the trip in the video. Yea i usually run a water bladder which is 3litres. Just wasn't thinking when i only took 1.2l

Loved it mate, this was a great watch. I'm big into my fishing and remote camping, but i've never hunted. I have big respect for hunters though and would love to try it one day. This was a great watch to see your experience out there, and top notch filming and editing as well.

@@LiquidAntler yeah deer is the main goal for me, just got my firearms licence and been bow hunting over a year now, so keen for so meat for the freezer, I camped exactly the same spot you did too love that place but no deer in there.
Great vid mate, I'm keen to get out this month. Have also been considering picking up a bow. The daughter has shown a bit of interest in bows so something we can learn together perhaps.

I really enjoyed the video! Goats and deer on bow have been high on the bucket list for a fair while. If you ever want to sight in your bow and practice locally, get in touch with the Caboolture district Bowman. It's a good club.

It is the EB55. I have done a previous video on the unit. I manly use it for charging all my camera/drone gear. Super simple and easy setup with the internal invertor.
How easy did you find the nsw permit process to bow hunt state forests?
