It’s such a relief isn’t it when the late walkers start walking! I understand your excitement. My eldest daughter didn’t walk until she was 2.5 years old!! Yay well done little girl 🩷

I have a 1,3 & 4 year old, We use a magnesium spray on the bottom of feet or a cream on our thighs and tummy, a cream before bed on Georges legs might help with his leg pain in the night too 🙏❤️ x

Oohhh I feel you with the worn out children at the end of the week! It is so tough. I’ve got a 4 year old boy in reception and also a 3 year old boy who goes to nursery. Some days I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck 🫣
Would it work to do a bath straight away when you get G from nursery? Then do a picky dinner (or something preprepared) then stories and into bed for about 6? It seems quite early but at least then he’s had a sort of “bedtime routine” and might have a better chance of sleeping through. You must be knackered otherwise!

If he’s that tired after nursery I’d give both the kids a quick snack tea as soon as you get home, then get him in the bath then bed by 6! x

We definitely do very early bedtimes in this house. If mine wakes up at 5am then he’s m bed by 6pm.

Omg my 16 months isn’t walking yet and it’s sooooo hard. She’s so frustrated and wants me to pick her up alllll the time!! Can’t wait for walking 😅

My son is Hali’s age and I do not let him sleep past 1pm or he is not going to bed before like 9pm and I neeeed my evenings 😂 even if he starts the nap at 12, I wake him up at 1, it might be a bit mean but sticking to a routine really helps him sleep well at night and we all know that is the priority! You’re doing great and I love the cooking you’re sharing at the moment ❤

I hear you with you tube! Even the kids one like you say, mine 6 and 5 boys turn evil when they were watching that, my 6 year old couldnt regulate his emotions at all. We took that away and only allow a bit of live tv or toys now and the difference is immense xx

Aw well done Halle! My first didn’t walk until the same age ! I was the same though! Reckon my second will be the same 🤣
We swear by magnesium gummies! We use the novomins night time ones and she loves them! She sleeps all night with them and doesn’t wake up so early! They do them on Amazon and their website they aren’t too expensive either x

Casper’s the same mugs me off too with that magnesium - knows exactly where I’ve tried to hide it 😂 the only thing I’ve managed to hide it in is full fat Greek yogurt! Xx

Also does George just sit in the lounge the whole time you make tea, put Hallie in the bath and to bed and do your skincare? Casper would never 😱 couldn’t keep him there for longer than 5 mins whilst I’m busy doing stuff haha xx

My little boy who has just turned 3 is exactly like George minus the leg pain. His nursery don't seem to think he has ADHD but he just has all the characterises of hyperactive-impulsive ADHD. It's so hard to tell whether they're a strong willed toddler or something more isn't it ❤️

I've got 4 kids and 2 of mine were very late walkers! 18 months and one was very very close too 19 months. And you'll be happy to know they run around crazy now! You would never know and my ealiest walker is the one who hates running 😂 also I get what you said a out utube etc we try films so at least it's on a while and keeps attention xx

My 5yr old is the same and he gets really hyper, i feel he has symptoms of ADHD but not diagnosed, I’ve noticed when I don’t give him anything with sugar or juice he is better at concentrating on things and less hyper, I also give him his peppa pig gummy multivitamin which is helping, as soon as he’s back from school all he wants to do is play games on the tv so recently I’ve started to take tv plug off and tell him that the tv is not working which allows him to do other activities such as drawing or painting or if he has any homework he completes that, if he manages to complete his work and his behaviour is good I reward him with stickers on his reward chart, if he gets 3 or more stickers in the week he can choose to go for an outing during the weekend

I think screen time is a sliding scale - some times you just need it. To deal with urgent jobs or a poorly Halle.. don’t beat yourself up, I can tell this is something that probably annoys the hell out of you! P.S I love the addition to the bun!

The pinning for teeth cleaning doesn’t make sense to me. It’s not a good way to introduce bodily autonomy or to support the child in developing a lasting relationship with oral hygiene. I would rather spend an extra 5 to 30 minutes in supporting teeth cleaning in a way that isn’t traumatic.

The cadbury pots of joy are great for hiding medicine cause they’re thick chocolate and the kids can’t see or taste it

Starting to follow your channel. I'm a mum of 2 (4 and a half year old boy and 19 month old girl so not unlike yourself). I do struggle. You seem to have a 4 year old that eats properly. Mine doesn't and have daily struggles and fights at mealtimes 😢. AnyhowI currently have your creamy garlic chicken from your slow cooker video on cooker. So here's hoping.

I have to hold my 20 month old down too. Sometimes my 3 year old helps by tickling him so he opens his mouth, that's the only way we can brush his teeth
