To be fair dark chocolate has the most chocolate flavour because of the high cocoa. Other chocolates would just have their flavour cooked away.

1. The cream mollifies it
2. The flavour cooks away a little, as I said

i feel like not enough people realize that they don't say nutella or oreo, not just because of sponsoring or copyright but because you don't get these brands in certain places. there are other kinds of chocolate sandwich cookies and hazelnut spread and those can be used in this recipe.
That's true, in my country we have a chocolate hazelnut spread very similar to Nutella but far more popular 😋
