@@skakskwoowwk from what i know, that mostly works on food that has a higher protein content, like egg whites and whipping cream. It whips because of the air trapped in the food structures. It wouldnt whip just because of sugar. Egg whites can turn to soft peaks even without sugar. Most ice creams have an oil ingredient in it, and if u whip oil with milk, it wouldnt whip, wouldnt it?
Millie Robbins FALSE: Numerous people have tried it, and none of them succeeded. You can’t just expect anything to become a fluffy texture if you whip it long enough. Even if you whipped water for 6 hours straight, it would be frothy, but nothing like a meringue texture.

Microwaves dont work like that. Microwave radiation would actually heat up the water molecules, and dont dry anything. Thats why if you heat up chicken or something in the microwave it actually feels moister than before. If you roasted it over a fire it MAY have worked.
Andrew Duncan when you heat up water, it evaporates. This is grade school stuff man. So yes, the microwave can most definitely dry things.

thankfully when i went to highschool, baking taught you the basics, that ice cream doesn't work that way, because it doesn't have a high enough fat content for it to whip. even with icing sugar, you will make it a bit thicker, but not help it whip.

Yeah that ice cream frosting is a NO GO. First of all, for this to even slightly work, you could CONSIDER, whipping the melted ice cream until its buttery, then adding like heaps upon heaps of powdered sugar...but even then probs not. The only recipe that legit works the way its supposed to is the ice cream cake-and thats only because it was an assembly

You can see the leaf, but I have tried that hack and it works. The leaf is a mint leaf, so it is completely edible, and actually tastes very good.
