Thank you so much for the kind words, and for watching. As I’m telling everyone Super Thanks tips are available on my vids to help support my channel. 🙏🙏🙏
You don't need the heat gun. Drummers usually have nice tone arms from playing. Just muscle it on there. I used the ball tips one time and destroyed all my heads, so for my neanderthal technique I always use the oval tips. They are wrapped with black tennis racquet tape, no messy glue. My last final thought is they definitely don't hurt as much as wood sticks. I wished they were around in my younger days they would've prolonged my playing. Proper technique would've gone a long way too.
For some agreed, but even a quick pass with a hair dryer will make the fitting a bit easier, and reduce the possibility of jamming your hands/fingers. Alas I’m a safety freak 🤣🤣🤣. Agreed that these are great for my wrists, and elbows. Thank you for watching. Super Thanks is now Available on my vids if you wish to help support my channel 🙏🙏🙏
Question. I have played acoustic kits since 1998 and always used promark sticks since pretty much day 1. Not happy with them since being bought out. Question is how do these compare in weight to a wooden stick? I want to be able to create a model that is similar to the old 707 (simon phillips signature stick) but i am worried these will be heavy and cumbersome. Anyway, been subscribed for years and enjoy all your videos. Appreciate your respect for drums and drumming!
Man I love the SP 808’s. While these sticks do have a unique feel they are not that heavy. To recreate the 707’s I’d go for the Hybrid Studio model, and order the round tips. I have the round tips on my Phil Rudd models and it definitely echoes the stick you like. Thank you so much for watching, and commenting. 🙏🙏🙏
@@KennySharrettsAwesome! I appreciate your response and that you actually know the sticks im talking about. I just ordered the pair you suggested. Looking forward to checking them out!
@@KennySharretts my man! Just wanted to give you a shout out. I ordered the sticks you recommended and they're exactly what I'm looking for. Appreciate you! If I ever end up on tour you're coming along! Haha
