I think this is the best 'seduction of the dark side' we have seen. Other instances it's just some evil guy being like oo join the dark side, but in this, it actually is presented as valid and relatable as a choice. He treats her as an equal, validates her feelings, and offers her choices, which probably make her feel the opposite of how things were like being with the jedi
Seduction means seduction. It doesn't have to be sexual, but there's no rule that it can't be. But it's not solely sexual. He's tempting her with choices. "You can swim to my landing pad and steal my ship if you want, or come have something to eat." I'm glad "Qimir" is using a different approach from what we've seen before, an approach that's believable and works. Be glad we didn't see Palpatine use this approach on Anakin and Luke.

I actually suspect that Vernestra wanted to go to the planet because she suspected what may have occurred... I think Qimir was indeed a Jedi and a certain Vernestra was his master. Berserk moment. The person is given the illusion of choice. Qimir shows Osha she has an option to escape with the ship to give her a false sense of security as he knows her sense of curiosity will make her stay. So far, it is better not to underestimate someone like Qimir.

I like seeing the point of view of someone that doesn’t agree with the Jedi but also isn’t so batshit crazy that he can’t be reasoned with like how Anakin was after he fell to the dark side.
Love this episode because by appearing to osha naked with his back turned and vulnerable he's creating a situation where it would be an unmistakably dark and non jedi act to kill him, despite how badly she wants to. Just a perfect backdrop to his corruption of osha and fitting too, since all sith will kill their masters eventually. or try.

👩🏾💻👩🏾💻 I see him as a "Dark Knight" in a way. Qimir kinda reminds me of Revan (what we know of him thus far) because in learning both disciplines he was able to do a lot more in The Force then Jedi or Sith alone in my opinion. That's why I think the Jedi are flawed in the way they teach the practice of using the Force. If fear leads to anger and anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering then one could say the "cookie cutter" approach to teaching how to be a Jedi can literally pave the way for some Padawans to becoming dark. Padawans are made to fear their passion and impulsive nature (just to name a few emotions) in turn having to try to suppress a part of themselves constantly which causes the cycle to begin. I hope I explained that well enough to be understood. Anyway, that's my take on this character thus far I can't wait to see the next episode! 🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️
For those who take a liking to Master Sol should brace themselves. Either he is going to die or he has skeletons in his closet that is about to be revealed. I suspect Sol was the one that threw Qimir away. Qimir did say that Sol doesn't remember him and I don't think he meant the encounter back at Olega.
21:03 - Correct me if I am wrong please but I am very positive that Bade made the rule of two not for this force dyad thing, but to fix a very different issue the Sith of his time were facing. That being that masters were not actively teaching their students to the fullest so they could retain their position and authority and students likewise would just gang up on and defeat their masters before learning everything and thus knowledge would be lost and the overall skill of the Sith would be lessened. The Rule of Two was to ensure that for the Sith to continue onward, the master is incentives to instruct their student to the fullest and in turn the student has no easy outs to defeat their master. They have to learn and improve upon the teachings of their master. Given the time period, (and I know he is not cannon) but this is about the time Darth Tanabris was alive and about the time of Plagues's early years. Now Darth T might be swapped for a different character all together but we do know from loose mentions in cannon material that this is about the time the Sith of the era were looking to "create" an ideal powerful being in the force that they could raise studying the Dark Side. And I think the reason for this was they started hitting a sort of power cap where finding stronger and stronger force sensitive beings was becoming difficult. Idk how much of this is going to be sinking into cannon and how much of it won't, but I am near positive the origins of the Rule of two has nothing to do with this force Dyad thing.

I thought power of two was the Dyad since Kylo Ren tells Rey about this 'the power of two that are one.' and Palpatine mention it is a power like life itself. Other youtube creators have alluded to interviews from Acolyte cast/crew/creators that Qimir is Sith. I think Qimir did use arguments of revenge to encourage May to complete her mission to kill the Jedi without a weapon. Most of what Qimir said was manipulation and not ideology in my opinion.
The switch up for Osha is just happening to quickly. At no time in this show did we see that Osha could be tempted by the dark side. The first episode she goes out her way to help a criminal. I mean she couldn’t even bring herself to shoot her sister in the second episode. The episode before this one she stopped Sol from killing Qimir. I could see if Qimir told Osha what happened from his POV when she was a kid this episode then maybe I could have believed her sudden switch. Idk I just feel like this show needed a better writing team. I know damn sure Mae better not flip to the good side once she hears Sols POV of what happened when she was kid because throughout this show she’s shown that she leans more towards the dark side. This show would have been better if the twin angle was never a thing and instead Jekki and Qimir were the main characters. One padawan on the light side who is up against a former padawan now in the dark side at the end.
Darth Bane starting the rule of two is Canon thanks to the Clone Wars, however the Darth Bane Trilogy, my personal favorite EU novels, are not Canon . Bane was a cortosis miner before joining the Sith army. So I'm wondering if Qimir is a Darth Bane Canon reboot. He talks about the power of two as legacy he is trying to create rather than a legacy he is trying to continue.
My Daughter and i finally by episode 5 and 6 starting to like this would rather have show just Master Sol Kumir twins can go to galaxy farfar far far away

I tried. The twins are terrible characters. Mae: killed her family, blamed it on Jedi? Killed Jedi, decided to turn herself in, didn't go peacefully. The only conclusion... she's insane. Osha: connecting with the Jedi, all killed by Qimir, now she wants to be darkside!? This show is below average, so far. 4.5 out of 10.

One padawan on the light side who is up against a former padawan now in the dark side at the end.
wait. to see. what. happens.
My sons name is Ronan 😮
Wish his pops was the lone samurai Qimir
🤭🤗
Darth Bane starting the rule of two is Canon thanks to the Clone Wars, however the Darth Bane Trilogy, my personal favorite EU novels, are not Canon . Bane was a cortosis miner before joining the Sith army.
So I'm wondering if Qimir is a Darth Bane Canon reboot. He talks about the power of two as legacy he is trying to create rather than a legacy he is trying to continue.
Quymir is simply mega cool and sexy
Hey man you’re really hard on the creatures in this show, Give them a break. Looks aren’t everything.
hmm this episode was kinda fun to watch
That episode went fast.
✨🔳✨⭕️✨🖤🫢
One frame of dead Jecki is more captivating and inspires more emotion than all of Oshas and Mae’s on screen time combined
interesting….. not true, but interesting you should say that.
Currently Ashoka streaming over twice as much as this for good reason
It was naaa... Boring. The whole show is sloooow.
speak

on that intro please
My Daughter and i finally by episode 5 and 6 starting to like this would rather have show just Master Sol Kumir twins can go to galaxy farfar far far away
Just another shill
Yo literally nothing happened in this episode
💯
I want a good written show about Qimir without Mae and Osha who are really boring. HIs story is much more interesting....❤ Qimir and Sol are the only reasons for me to watch the show. Greetings from Germany💕 PS: I will dream about Darth Biceps and how I will join him everywhere he invites me...😅
Bro are you really commenting this on just every reaction? I have seen this comment like 3 times I swear
@@hanshotfirst4214dude people do this all the time, it’s so funny
You're shotgunning the same thing all over the place. Geez. We get it already.
I'm going to go to another reactor, and I'll see it again. Sigh...have a good day.
@@popinjayishuman Its just silly since its the EXACT same thing word for word on all of it
I just found out that the bald green Jedi is married to the creator of the show. Her acting skill is low level.
Yet you're still here whining
@@daurydavis3983look, people complaining about the show and why are they still watching it argument make zero sense. If not for the complainers it wouldn’t have any viewing numbers. This just don’t watch bit is laughable. Like telling a sports fan to stop following there team when they suck. Worst show I’ve seen in decades. CW quality acting and writing. For over 200 million! Huh?
wait until you have all of the facts or stop fcking watching jesus christ you people are annoying.
@@MichaelPK03 y'all are so whiny, misogynistic and racist too apparently
I have a theory but j really hope it's not true because I honestly don't like the acolyte and how it's so Liberal with the Canon is
I hope that the stranger isn't revealed to be darth bane who created the rule of two
Yet you're here
This shit makes me cringe so hard 😂😂🤣😍
