103 years ago, the first-ever independent Belarusian state was called into being, known as the Belarusian People’s Republic, which survived two years. In parallel, the Polish-USSR was delineated in Riga a century ago. How is the Belarusian People’s Republic remembered? Did it offer a chance of creating a stable independent state between Poland and the Soviet Union? To what extent do the memory of the Belarusian People’s Republic and Belarusian hopes impact the shaping of Belarusians’ identity?
These are the subjects to be discussed by historians and historical policy experts during the Polish History Museum’s online debate.

Bardzo Źle się stało że Traktat Ryski Podpisany18 Marca 1921roku przez Polskę, Sowiecką Białoruś , Sowiecką Ukrainę z Sowiecką Rosją nie przewidywał Niepodległości Białorusi . Dla Polski i Polaków byłoby bezpiecznie gdyby w Latach 1921 - 1939 Istniało Niepodległe Państwo Białoruskie pod Nazwą Białoruska Republika Ludowa - BRL
