Really loved this interview. They started out serious, but their fun personalities showed through. I love the respectful way the journalist talked to them, and how thoughtful and humble the boys are so humble.
Sejun and Josh mentioned in one tv guesting that they worked in a call center before, so their English accent is so smooth and not as hard as our standard *Filipino speaking in English* accent 😁
There is no such thing as "standard Filipino speaking in English" accent. It's a stereotype promulgated by the media. I'm not sure where you're from but there are a lot, if not more, Filipinos who don't have that stereotypical heavy accent.

They talked about this as well in their concert like how they were thankful of how their lives changed overnight. How go up was their last chance. Even teacher Hong and tatang Robin spoke with so much pride about sb19 and was telling it to his mother who was present in the manila concert.

You only think the boys will not see this, but I'm telling you, all of them lurks around us in all social media platforms and read, watch, and listen to everything we're doing. One moment we would be talking about something in twitter and the next thing we know, they would talk about it in their interviews. Plus, there's the every supportive and dynamic SbowBT staff who always are easy to talk to and interact with. Shout out to them! And also there's the ever supportive family members of the boys who sometimes let us take a sneak peak into the boys' everyday lives.

Yeah that was a heartwarming interview, it delved deeper in to their personal lives, but that interview was all in tagalog.

That was 5 years ago. Now SB 19 has already shown what pop talent is all about. Whether it's regular pop, hip-hop, R and B, or ballad, SB 19 has it all, mastering each genre. Not only that, they sing live vocals while dancing. NO lip syncing. That's taboo among Filipinos. It's just too fake. And vocals? Just spectacular. They excel in singing individually and as harmony. No one can join a pop group without already previous singing and dancing ability. In the process, regular PPop training is shorter than KPop. And as far as SB 19 in particular, they write their own materials, including part of the choreography, and yes, manage themselves. And, you should notice too PPOp's facility in both English and Tagalog. Sorry, BTS, you'll be eclipsed soon.
I totally forgot about "Suntok sa Bwan" (A punch to the Moon), a expression with the same context as REACH FOR THE STARS...Man, I notice the weirdest things when i watch you guys watch them!
