Great trip Rogee and as you know it is all part of hunting, good or not so good brother, thanks for the trip, thumbs up, kia ora to you and brother Matty,,, Tony.
Once again Rogee, a great vid with good learns, who would have thought sun strike would Fark you over, still got be good just being out there doing it ! Thanks for taking us all along for the mission.
Better than a day at work any day and still good to watch. Stay safe until the next time. Dont forget to get the fly rods out also, not sure when the season is in NZ.
Can be hard leaving empty handed although - your editing is getting sick and the soundtracks recently are so on point. Your videos are getting a real cool feel to them with the tunes and story telling. Makes them really pleasant viewing
At least you confirmed the Recon...the 576 was ever so close given the windhold variance... It's early winter...lots of venison coming your way soon...Cheers...
As usual you've provided us with another informative interlude to ponder. I've been meaning to ask you, what's happened to the Big O, Owen. Haven't seen him for a while, is he OK?
Do this, and you will never miss another shot opportunity because of glare. Ḍrill an 11-12mm hole in your scope cap and cover the inside of the hole with a piece of electrical tape. If you flip the cap up and you can't see, pull tape off, flip the cap back down, and you will be able to see thru the hole. Works better than any sunshade! Just a quick tip from a Yank who loves watching your videos.
Always enjoy your videos. Were you boys planting corn in front of that deer. 😂 So you boys are human. Was that a rare frog I heard. 🤪 Was in NZ last week myself for a winter wildness Tahr hunt. Mission was a success. Flew out early and was wondering why things were close on Friday. 👍 You kiwis have something special over your side of the ditch.
Cheers brother, always appreciate your inciteful feedback: A. No corn in front of that deer just acouple of stray projectiles🤦♂️ A. Hansome Humans we are😉😂 A. That was the very rare "Roaring Bum" Bull frog that lives in Matty's underpants🤢😂 Glad you had a successful mission down South.....and yes we are very spolit for hunting choice in this wonderful Country!!!
Cheers brother...safety first...ironically I was part a thread where a hunter tried to justified putting his hands over the top of his rifle muzzle while leaning on it like a walking stick!! We have long way to go with gun safety if hunters think thats a good practice. But I'll keep advocating safe firearm practice coz every bit helps. Yeah definitely looking forward to the next few months of hunting 👌
@@rogeeproductions2509 I thought so haha. I'm surprised I haven't knocked into you, pretty sure I've seen your car in the car park a few times, I'm in the silver corrola
Ha! I’m a kiwi but not an experienced hunter. You’re obviously very safety conscious, so I was just curious as to why you don’t take advantage of the safety benefits of fluro? Is it not as safe as I assume?
@@calebstanden8380 Yeah, the fluro thing is not me...maybe stems back to my military days. I can understand in the roar but not for the type hunting we do
Some days are like that..... Enjoyed the adventure. Wish I could roam the hills of NZ....

As usual you've provided us with another informative interlude to ponder. I've been meaning to ask you, what's happened to the Big O, Owen. Haven't seen him for a while, is he OK?
Cheers Gav, the Big O has a very busy familiy now. He pretty much just sticks to private land hunts which allows him to take the kids.
Yea boi, thanks for the upload my bro. Time to enjoy!!!
There he is!!!...chur bo🤙🏽

Unlucky boys. That's hunting for you, not all about shooting and being on the money. At least it's a learning experience and out there doing it.

Always love your content thank you. I’m interested in why you don’t seem to use the Fluro camouflage gear?
Cheers Caleb, theres no requirement to wear fluro camo over here, so we dont

gd walk with the rifle bro lol nice looking country though
Cheers brother🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
What’s your procedure with rifle cleaning and are you one to foul your bore pre hunt?
I keep my rifle in a semi fouled state only cleaning once it impacts my groups, thats a full copper clean, carbon clean it after every 20 rounds or so

Christ you pair work hard for your venison, 4hrs in, 4hrs out, and all the rain as well, but always great to watch 🤓
