Great review, especially form a technical standpoint. The comparison between Second Sight and Turbine Medien was exactly what I needed since the Turbine set is not as expensive as the Second Sight set here in Germany. Thanks! 👍
Hey, I'm a fan of your HDR comparisons. They're all really well done and insightful. You seem very well informed about this stuff, and I was wondering if you could tell me how you convert the SDR footage so it displays accurately in HDR. I've tried using the color space conversion tool in DaVinci, but I haven't been able to get accurate results. What settings or tools do you use to get accurate SDR in these videos?
Hi thanks The easiest way is to work in an aces workflow or you can do with color transform node Just work in a hdr timeline rec 2020 st2084 1000 nits and convert sdr to hdr with color transform node
@@robomnemonic3751 yes but I was not in grading and had no idea of the original footage There is still a lot of grain Nothing looks waxed to me Didn’t had any information of what they did
Now this is the most impressive "Second Sight" comparison videos of "Texas" I have ever seen. Well done!
Thanks 🙏 please share

Dire que je n'ai toujours pas vu ce film.... Ce test est très bien fait et m'a convaincu 👏
Merci beaucoup. C’est un classique mais c’est pas pour tout le monde

looks like second sight removed a lot grain. Did use dnr?
Grain is here the grade was really enhancing it on previous version
Don’t know if they use dnr not sure
@@LELABODEJAY So you are not sure if they used dnr in the second sight version, is that what you mean?
