I’m South African living in California and sometime last year I met an African American sangoma. He found out he had a calling through the signs from the ancestors and they told him to go to South Africa to thwasa and he did. He’s back in California now practicing ubungoma in Oakland, has his ndumba and always dresses in sangoma attire.

Another gem of an episode. Tumi Morake is so accomplished yet exhibits great humility. I would listen to her stories all day long!
Loving the evolution of the podcast, gone are the days where every Monday we just subjected to celebrity gossip. As the platform grows it comes with a lot of responsibility and I like how you guys are embracing it.
Funny enough, there is a comment right above yours complaining that Monday is no longer about gossip and they wanted to go back to that.
But that just means they are turning to what they've been running away from, mainstream media.
They Trying to Get to 1 million subscribers before the big Event ,So they being consistent with the big Episodes
I think this was due to the public holiday/shutdown/long weekend
How is it Gossip when some of us use them as news to know what's happening around. But evolution is so awesome

Listening to Tumi talk about Mental Health during covid, that was the most difficult time we have ever experience in our lives, people lost jobs, lost loved ones, we lost sense of touch, some of us felt our houses walls were closing in on us. I guess we all went through some form of mental health during covid but we managed to deal with it because we had none but ourselves!!!!
A different kind vibe, love it. 💯 We changing things up. I feel calm listening to Tumi. ❤

I think it must be said female comedians are the true definition of what woman and feminism should be. They have a way to stand for something and speak up for their struggle without playing that perpetual victim card where woman are not accountable for their BS. I have a lot of respect for this lady because she gets that men are not the enemy and it is very important to say that out loud because so many so called "feminist" lose us because we are painted in the same brush as all the evil men out here committing atrocities against woman.
