Did they have money to run or the apartheid government gave them the minimum to run their affairs? Those kings had nothing everything belonged to the apartheid government, Truth be told. UNLIKE ORANGE, THESE Afrikaners Folks run their affairs without anybody telling them what to do. They work hard, Yes, which is commendable. Who gave them money for start up? We have to Tell truths here. They had money some accumulated a lot of money during the apartheid rule. What do these kings have? Handouts. The truth is South Africa is a very complicated Country for sure. Are we free of separateness? given that all our social systems and personal ideology or our social conduct, is by some measure fundamentally based on identification and association. My answe is no, were not free of it.
    When we observe societies, we are able to glean that separatism appears inherent in all societies. Moreover it is our selective reasoning that ultimately negates or strengthens it depending on the order we subscribe to. Undeniably the intrinsic nature of separatism, when threatened, it results in extrinsic contempt - as we experience here and now.
    Dissenters often express disgust against separatism by relying on their apposing views that are predicated on by ethical standards. Paradoxically this justification fails to observe that it too is an act of exclusion even when such resistance is democratically justified to achieve 'a' version of freedom. Evolving from stifling circumstances such as immorality, political injustices or religious dogma, that seemingly contradicts 'a' version freedom proved imperative throughout history.
    Exclusion validates a measure of moral subscription.
    Supporting any ideology that defines an "acceptable conduct" or 'a' version of freedom requires exclusion. Historically it was inclusion that failed because people continued to live unadjusted and as a result, war and perpetual rebellion ensued. The barriers between apposing ethical forces is the contention dividing the 'for' or 'against' supporters - two versions of freedom. Separatism can be found between two harmonious societies - it's still separatism and we are by some ideology 'guilty' of it. There are no societies free of separatism and this is equally true for individuals. Everything we do, from social appearances, to actions or moral subscription are essentially clusters of beliefs - separatism. Therein lies paradox.
    Since history does report social conduct, it is easy to predict that separatism will perpetuate and therefore compromise overall freedom because it recognises different versions of freedom. Since freedom is subjective, it will remain in contempt.

    Why everyone brings in race ,so immature,this is an Afrikaner town.leave them alone they're successful and doing well. I know white Afrikaners that have not got in, it's a plain as that. Let them live in their own success. If you have a problem then start your own place with your own culture.

    • @HerculesMhlongo

      🤦🏽‍♂️ Policy 101. Just because something may not be promulgated as a racist policy does not necessarily mean that it’s not racist. When you study policy you are taught that some policies appear to not have anything to do with race, gender, sexual orientation, etc on their face (Prima Facie) but all the trappings, assessments, effects, employs, wherewithal, etc point to the policy only favouring or prejudicing certain peoples. So, no, it’s not immature that the race question keeps popping up…it is because people have correctly discerned what Orania is actually about -particularly after the surface is scratched.

    • @ReformedVicar
      @ReformedVicar หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HerculesMhlongo very succinctly put, the point is the more we drum on about it the longer the problem will last, it's time every South African puts the past in the past and focusses on what can be and not was,even though the despicable things that transpired in the past have an influence on the current,the fact is that the more focus on that in all ways brings that into the forefront and gives it more credence ,I'm not saying play that the past doesn't exist,but to focus on giving less credence to what is evil and more to what is right in our country, my personal feeling is whatever their conviction is they're there far from anywhere, as our Khoi brothers are further west , it's like the typical political agenda pointing out others so your own faults aren't seen. I like the way you make your point respect to you,and thank you for the though provoking answer.

      @@ReformedVicar I want to first say, from the first sentence I read in your reply I felt a tone of understanding and genuine interaction (exchange of ideas).
      Now I completely understand what it is that you were saying in the principal comment. I find myself somewhat agreeing with you; if we leave them to live in their own utopia that they righteously ~or unrighteously~ have created for themselves and we instead focus our energies on building a broader South Africa that has dealt with the undertones that were prevalent in the past then we may have an actual hope to have a thriving society…yes.
      I also want to acknowledge the point you made about some Afrikaners that have not gotten in, but I would like to extend your point to “most Afrikaners have no intention of being ‘citizens’ of Orania for whatever reasons. This points to priorities, beliefs, cultural practices and maybe even pure freedom of security (Job, Family, Social, etc…).
      I guess we are just traumatized and Orania triggers PTSD.😂
