Wow!! EXCELLENT video quality and voice over narration Adam!! This is a really fun and easy kit to install transforming the CB500X into a truly very reliable global adventure machine not found in any other size category. Very rewarding project. Excellent engineering. ( Next episode I would recommend turning the background music down a bit for us hard of hearing viewers…;-) Juan: 50,000 miles RRPCB500X level 2.
Looking forward to part 2 - especially how adjustments are made to the aftermarket shocks. I'm interested in Honda's fog light kit that includes their 'light bar' with wiring for an included pair of LEDs. I'd also like to see what Honda offers for panniers and the optional tail rack for installing a top case. Nice series of videos going in-depth, but at a good pace that kept concisely to essential info.
Excellent video series so far with a great balance of smooth delivered explanation with enough technical detail to be enjoyable and interesting. Thanks. Looking forward to the next and ultimately booking in my soon to be ‘22 version for upgrading.
Great video. Not much different there compared to the 2019 bike. Which means it is still a lot to achieve by upgrading the shock. I have now about 30000 km with your level 2 upgrade and is very satisfied. Looking forward to the fork video ! I hope it is an improvement compared to the 2019 and also easy to make it even better.
@@longrider9551 I did all the work my self....updated prices at their website. I bought the full suspension upgrade (plus a lot other) got 10% Christmas discount and its almost 3 years ago already. Freight and exchange rates may have changed also.
Taking that fairing off is not for the weak of heart! The three electrical plugs on the left side took about an hour for my son and I to figure out! All while holding up the fairing! Then the other plug you failed to mention on the right side was buried in a rubber sleeve and took a lot of time and cussing to take apart and put back together. Might be easier next time around, but do yourselves a favor and let a shop tackle it, it's worth the money for someone else to do it.
Very interesting,I’ve been following this bike closely in TH-cam but seems you guys are the first who had a strip down video, looking forward to see you guys add some bling into it….+1 subs
With the suspension and wheels needing more long term development can we have videos of the stuff that is likely to be doable sooner. You've shown the engine guard works with the 2022, but maye how bark busters can be fitted, does the skorpion exhaust fit the 2022 model, that kind of stuff. Great videos though
I have very limited knowledge about suspension upgrades - May I know about the reliability and life of aftermarket suspension upgrades compared to stock suspension- just a concern of mine
Hi I have one like it and the left faring it's not in place properly the left gap is bigger than the right side one my dealer tried to put properly but still is not in place properly what do you think of this problem pls?
Honda has redefined the cheap! I mean how bloody expensive it can be to make decent panels? Not to mention the rust that has plagues all non-japanese Hondas.
I have to say from years of working on them, they are pretty logical and well designed in terms of assembly and some of the best wearing metal finishes I've seen for the price! There are a few connectors and clips that are frustrating however!
@@rallyraidproducts1927 hi like to show you some photos of my motorcycle it's the same like that you are working on the problem is in my left faring it's not in place properly my dealer tried to put it back in place but still it has a little bit to close up nex to the tank what's your opinion on this matter is it a defect on the bik or it only needs some setup pls? If I have your email I will send you the photos of the motorcycle
I can't wait to see what you all think of the new front forks. You all are going to be getting a lot of my money in the near future, but thats life
The bike looks surprisingly good without the cockpit
This is what I noticed too

Longer shock? More travel? Hopefully more travel in front too? This info is exactly what I came looking for. Next is diet tips for the little pig.

Awesome video!! Is there going to be a part 2 with the forks?
Yes, soon!
