Couple this with the deep recession we were in as I turned 16/17, there was no jobs anywer. No money from parents, and too young to draw the dole. Wearing washed out rags with no money for a haircut. "I don't want to do that anyway" really sums up my mindset for most of my life. I am in a better position financially now, but the mindset is still there and hard to shake off
