Christine Ha won the reality competition MasterChef even though she couldn't see the ingredients or the tools in kitchen. She started losing her vision about 10 years ago after her optic nerve became inflamed because of an autoimmune condition.
She's freaking Amazing!!!!! I LOVE her
I still don't see how she was not able to burn herself on the pot obviously pair of myself and trust me I have burned myself on the side of pot all the time she is really has great skills for detecting where objects are she's a wonderful cook
Sorry I meant to say on visually impaired myself and it burned myself countless times on the sides of pots
I would love to see the doctors do a program on medication for the blind there is A really bad problem in the US because we don't braille our products in the store like the people in the UK do. My drugstore doesn't think it's worth it to put in a system for blind with large print Braille and talking labels I do my pills by field the other day I lost a lot of my functioning vision which happens to me a lot and I couldn't tell which prescription cream from another .
While she's blind and can good the greatest meals...
I'm here not blind not knowing how to use a toaster.
She even had the rice this time as opposed to her audition when she did not serve the rice because it didn’t come out
Ammm... i love christine... i have soo much respect for her... i think she is amazing... but. .. i didnt know she's not fully blind -_- hmmm
Zarahemla Dela Cruz her vision gradually decreases over the past 10 years. Many of the blind, aren't actually blind, they can still see shadows and shapes but not directly like normal people with perfect vision. but the body will still compensate and heighten your senses.
I totally get it... its just that they never mentioned that on the show (not that they have to but) i kind of thought all she see is darkness ...and foods, flavors are the colors of her world...or something like...
I know i sound horrible -_- but just expressing whats inside my head.. am i the only one who thought or this??
Zarahemla Dela Cruz Christine mentions it herself a few times in the show when asked. Pay more attention man.
It was mentioned since her first appearance.
