How does one communicate on a ship. Is there a certain device or app that he uses to communicate back home. Or can he use his laptop or phone to send emails or text. Curious.
There is a room they can go to that has access to communications. So things like email and text are possible. However, internet speeds are spotting and slow so they can't do things like live streaming video.
They do get better coverage once they reach port and dock.
