Totally agree guys life is too short for poor coffee. It looks like you guys have got it just right. Good coffee at home and in the van. We have a Krups Nespresso machine in, Nessie, our motorhome and just love being able to pulling over into a lay-by whenever that coffee urge kicks in 😂😂😂
👍 Love the Snow Peak grinder I find the Aeropress hard to beat for the van. Compact and easy to clean/use. Part cafetière, part espresso maker but mainly it just makes a really good coffee.
Anther vote for the aeropress here! Also have a Bellman in the van which makes great moka pot style coffee but also acts as a good milk steamer too. If you don’t drink milky coffee then it’s overkill. If you like cafetière coffee but dislike the mess perhaps have a look at a clever dripper. It’s pretty cheap and uses filters so clean up is easy and you can get 2 cups out of it. If you like your coffee stronger then like a cafetière you just let it steep for longer. The old wives tale is like so many of them actually based on fact, filter coffee and especially cafetière coffee does have more caffeine vs espresso or mokka pot. It’s simply down to the volume of soluble coffee that makes it into the cup!
Aeropress is brilliant - the travel version folds up into itself and is much better for the van. Its well worth finding a lighter roast bean though, as dark roast beans can taste a little 'ashy' in these methods. That and my mokka pot are the first things packed in the van when we head off!
I agree with every single word in this video. From the intense strength of the moka pot method to the mindfulness and purity of the grinding process 😊 Lovely stuff - the absolute essence of focussing on what really matters to us in life 👍🏻 Keep up the great work both, and happy coffee drinking!
I use an Aeropress which produces very good 'routine' coffee and, importantly, is easy to clean so a minimum of coffee grounds end up feeding the microbes in the grey water tank.

Richard has his eye on an aeropress for his Christmas list! Heard lots of great reviews

Another vote for the aeropress, ideal for campervan use especially with the reusable metal filter.
Looks like I know what Richard is getting for Christmas 🎄 ☕️

Love this Gary...glad to see there is someone else out there that thinks the same way as me! It's the small things that really do count. R
