Kiryu on the other hand regularly wrestles with GODZILLA, who is strong enough to toss around 100,000 ton monsters like King Ghidorah, and Kiryu himself has carried a 60,000 ton Anguirus while travelling at mach 45. Combine Kiryu's MASSIVE strength advantage with his superior combat speed (dodged Godzilla's atomic breath) and superior durability (survived the atomic breath which can overwhelm the absolute zero) then it's a pretty clear cut victory for Kiryu. Plus, Kiryu is literally more than 150 times heavier than the dragonzord.

First thing he sees: The King of the Monsters, Godzilla. So Tommy summons the Dragonzord to fight Godzilla, Tommy mistaking the king for one of Rita’s monsters. In fact she tries to control Godzilla but he resists and it only makes Godzilla angrier. And he whooped Tommy’s ass. It was a beat down. And keep in mind, Kiryu is technically a dead Godzilla bought back to life with a mechanical body. Once big G took over, Tommy could only count down until his demise.

This Mechagodzilla; or Kiryu as it's code-name, was not only created around the original Godzilla's skeleton, but it was made specifically to kill and overpower Godzilla himself. Kiryu was actually successful as well, only certain situations and events happening to cause him to lose his battles. If Type-3 Kiryu is faster, stronger and has weapons that excel at taking on Godzilla himself, who I think is stronger than anything in the Power Ranger's universe, there was no way the Dragonzord stood a chance.
Literally the few seconds before you complained about how the Dragonzord is supposed to be stronger than the Megazord, they said it matched the Megazord in terms of strength. So no, taking the Megazord's greatest feat of strength and giving it to the Dragonzord is exactly how it would go.

Matthew's Corner you gotta bare in mind that they take a character at their best for a Death Battle. They’re not gonna take “first day on the job Superman” and put him against SSB Goku. I realize they're not gonna use first day on the job Superman, but there are experienced versions that could still lose to Goku. But then there are some that would completely dominate him. I know they use a character at their best for each Death Battle, but Superman has had many different "bests" in his years, almost none of which involve the same timeline. Here, do me a favor. There's a four or five part series on TH-cam called All Versions of Goku vs All Versions of Superman made by Just A Robot. He goes up each version from weakest to strongest and pits them against each other. Give it a watch. Each episode is only around twenty minutes, give or take.

I can throw out random feats from random places in the Godzilla universe too. It doesn't matter for these two characters in this battle since neither have done any of those feats.
In addition, Dragonzord's long-range arsenal is limited and not really in-hand with the rest of his attacks; Mecha Godzilla, on the other hand, is designed to handle both long AND close range combat. And that drill tail weapon is only useful up close; I'm not even really convinced Dragonzord would be able to get close enough to actually use it on Mecha-G, but they probably felt they had to have it happen or else Power Ranger fans would be pissed.
I'm sorry, but this IS completely accurate. Even though Dragonzord has taken down a lot of giant monsters, Kaiju like Godzilla and MechaGodzilla are on WHOLE different level of power. There's a huge difference between some random, goofy, evil monster that's just been super-sized (aka Reada's monsters), and a creature that's literally an unstoppable force of nature. (aka Godzilla)

Also, just because they said Superman could beat Goku doesn't mean everything they say is wrong. They've gotten better at their research since then. Besides, some versions of Superman CAN beat Goku. Not all versions (because not every Superman is the same), but there are plenty.
Matthew's Corner you gotta bare in mind that they take a character at their best for a Death Battle. They’re not gonna take “first day on the job Superman” and put him against SSB Goku. I know that’s not what you literally mean but I think you get my point. And Ultra Instinct wasn’t a thing when they created the rematch Death Battle but I’m sure even if that was taken into account that Superman would still win. Remember, Superman pretty much has no limit.
@@SciFiLOLproductions Actually, most versions of Superman have VERY clear limits. I realize they're not gonna use first day on the job Superman, but there are experienced versions that could still lose to Goku. But then there are some that would completely dominate him. I know they use a character at their best for each Death Battle, but Superman has had many different "bests" in his years, almost none of which involve the same timeline. Here, do me a favor. There's a four or five part series on TH-cam called All Versions of Goku vs All Versions of Superman made by Just A Robot. He goes up each version from weakest to strongest and pits them against each other. Give it a watch. Each episode is only around twenty minutes, give or take.

@@SciFiLOLproductions I know, but apparently their definition of Superman at his best is lumping all feats of all versions into one and that just doesn't work. The Superman that pulled the Earth around in New 52 isn't the same Superman that survived "fifteen suns exploding in his face", both of which they used to describe ONE Superman. Different Supermen have different feats and different bests. Did you watch the videos I suggested?
@@matthewscorner2990 As they stated in Superman vs Goku 2, they were focusing on the most recent reboots of the series. Superman still crushes Goku because his power comes from an eternal and infinite source in Goku's lifetime, while Goku's power only lasts for as long as his physical body can maintain it. There is no limit Goku cannot break, but Superman doesn't have a limit to begin with.

I can throw out random feats from random places in the Godzilla universe too. It doesn't matter for these two characters in this battle since neither have done any of those feats.

In addition, Dragonzord's long-range arsenal is limited and not really in-hand with the rest of his attacks; Mecha Godzilla, on the other hand, is designed to handle both long AND close range combat. And that drill tail weapon is only useful up close; I'm not even really convinced Dragonzord would be able to get close enough to actually use it on Mecha-G, but they probably felt they had to have it happen or else Power Ranger fans would be pissed.

I'm sorry, but this IS completely accurate. Even though Dragonzord has taken down a lot of giant monsters, Kaiju like Godzilla and MechaGodzilla are on WHOLE different level of power. There's a huge difference between some random, goofy, evil monster that's just been super-sized (aka Reada's monsters), and a creature that's literally an unstoppable force of nature. (aka Godzilla)

I’m surprised he didn’t hear the “dragonzord could match the megazord” part. So that means they’re even in strength, especially when they’re at their maximum. Yes they fought giant monsters, but I don’t think they ever fought one as powerful as Godzilla or even a machine capable of lifting him.
