For the subtitles thing, and this is a just in general thing, they need to do what Unicorn Wars did and actually translate what they're saying in whatever language they're speaking into English in the subtitles/captions instead of having the subtitles/captions say [Speaking in Spanish/German/etc.] when the English subtitles/captions is turned on. A most recent example of what they could do it with would be Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Foreign language subtitle thing: I used to work for a transcription company (one of the main ones TH-camrs who hire out use) and the company had a very strict policy that if the client didn't specifically pay for translation, we were not allowed to translate. We risked not being paid for the job at all if we did because someone else would have to "fix it" (remove the unpaid translation.) AppleTV probably didn't pay for translation.

@ the subtitles issue - we had that same issue recently, WITH that same movie. Probably for a different reason though - we got one of those firestick apps to replace our cable and getting subtitles to work involves going through like 5 settings screens, and my parents just can't be bothered to try and find it. You also have to go through all that shit again just to turn them off, so unless we're having a foreign film marathon (which I doubt because my parents hate having to rely on subtitles), theres no use to turning them on for a single scene in a movie.
Half these people are getting laughed at, half are getting fired and a few are getting arrested

9:02 I used to work at a place that just threw everything out but the reason why wasn't what you think. They used to have recycling but employees who didn't care threw trash in with the recycling. Local waste management got fed up with their ignoring the rules so they refused to pickup their recycling anymore.
So if you see a place that does this it isn't always because they don't care or don't want to bother. It might be because the business lost recycling as a service.
