How to synchronize Dead batteries on Victron bmv-712 Cerbo gx touch 50 battery monitor

Is your Victron battery monitor out of sync with batteries? Is the Multiplus inverter or Cerbo gx touch 50 monitor showing "low voltage" but your battery percentage isn't low? Is your battery monitor showing two blank lines like this - -?
If your batteries die, the monitor will reset, and show two blank lines. It no longer knows what the state of charge it. If you dont re-charge your batteries regularly (at least once a week or more, if heavy usage every day), the Victron monitor can become inaccurate.
This could indicate the battery monitor needs to be re-syncronized! Your batteries could be low or died, and monitor reading 100% giving you false readings!
If this happens, or you think this may be your issue, use one of your charging methods to re-charge the battery bank until your charger says "float". This will automatically re sync your batteries and monitor so you get correct readings again.
The fastest way is to use a gen or shore power to recharge but will work with solar too, it will just take longer. Once your charger goes into float mode, the battery monitor will automatically re-sync to 100%. Its NOT a true 100% until it reaches FLOAT mode.
Float mode is when the charger recognizes the battery is completely full and will not accept any more power and basically just trickle charges the battery.

My monitor doesn’t even show percentage it only shows 2 white dashes, any idea why? Video still helped a ton with the voltage tip, thank you

could be a few things. first go on the bmv battery monitor app on the phone and make sure its showing a percentage. if it shows up on the phone app, then you may need to go into the settings on the touch 50 and go to menu, system settings, system setup and select the battery monitor as the bmv. also check the ve direct cable from cerbo gx unit to the bmv is good connection.
if its not gettin the percentage on the phone app either, you need to go in the setttings and edit them and fully re-charge the battery and then it will appear at 100%
