My authentic pair (bought from Browns) didn't come with that paper bag like the replica one's did. I don't think any do as that's a gift bag you get from the store only I believe. However, if you order Gucci online from their website, they do send out a gift bag sometimes. My floral embroidered Princetown loafers from them came with a gift bag, not inside the shoe box, online inside the shipping box, so I can't be certain if all designers do/don't send them out. You can really tell when you look up close how much of a poorer quality those replicas are. You're awesome for doing these videos and helping everyone!

I've seen dozens of pairs of these fakes over the years, maybe hundreds due to my job. One thing I've never seen a fake get right, and most people that do these kind of videos often miss too is something really obvious once you know it yet so small it's hard to spot.

Of course you can put a fake insole in a real shoe or vice versa, but I've never seen a pair that's done it because I don't think many even notice it to bother.
Real pairs in hand just feel different though, like this guy said, they have a structure, they feel quality. I've seen some fakes that are 99% there aesthetically, and even I wouldn't know they're fake if someone was wearing them next to me - but if I had them in hand I'd know in an instant.
The fakes can't replicate the midsole either, they can look identical, but push into a real pair and they have bounce, a fake pair will be almost rock hard. Nobody would know, but you'll know when your feet are hurting after 10 minutes.
The fakes often (not always) lean as well. Look at them from the back when they're on a table or something, the real ones will be nice and straight, the fakes will lean into each other.
I realise most of this is redundant now as they're out of production, but I see pairs all the time, people are still buying them and selling them for a decent chunk of change and they're still really popular. Try not to get stung. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Buy from somewhere that does authenticity checks, and even then, when you have them, do your own checks with as much info as you can gather as the authenticity guys are human, and we all make mistakes at some point.

You'd have to get someone to take their shoes off, and inspect in good light to tell if they're genuine or not.. and even real pairs will wear out after a few times rocking them. So the logos will fade out.. but yeah each to their own..
