I really don’t disapprove of wearing fakes, because I can understand that cool designs can get really expensive. I have a few fake designer peices along with a few real peices myself. But this becomes an issue when people try and resell fakes.

The stitching looks quite a bit different as well. One thing I gotta say is mine did not come with the tiny dust bag with the 2 perfumes. But I know it’s 100% authentic because I bought it at the Louis Vuitton store in New York (maybe it’s something they don’t offer anymore ?)

Last year, I went inside the Louis Vuitton store and saw a collection of these belt styles, for about $600 apiece which blew me away. They look nice, but there's no way I'm gonna spend that much on a belt.
I went online on Amazon a few weeks later and saw replicas, which look exactly like the real thing and made of quality leather, for only $30! I now own 3 of them, and they've held up amazingly well. Everyone thinks they're straight off the LV store and compliment me often. Feels great to look stylish without breaking the bank.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. These belts look so close, I doubt an average person could tell the difference
Serial number and supposed location of manufacture aren’t always relevant. Some belts are 100% real but just aren’t registered because they where leftovers in the factories that didn’t make it to the outlets. Because of this a huge number of them end up being sold on the black market for extremely cheap. Because they didn’t make it to outlets they don’t have official serial numbers on them. So if everything about the belt is legit other then the markings on the back, your belt is still real. Don’t worry. And Luis belts are manufactured in turkey, not France or Spain. The ones that do end up being exported end up getting branded in Spain and redistributed from there. This explains why some belts will be 100% legit even though it says made in France. This is relevant to other brands such as Gucci, Prada etc. This is honestly something that reviewers should know so that people aren’t thinking their 600$ belt is fake🤣
Well, I mean... The price isn't based upon the inherent quality of the belt itself, but in the "brand" that produces it, meaning that which the brand sells to the public. If "Brand X" has unused stock that gets stolen and resold.... That's exactly every bit as fake as a chinese knock off.. The brand has not finished it, and has not authorized it's sale. It is not any more "real" than the chinese knock off.

Tbf the fake buckle is pretty spot on. The only thing that gives it away is the top of the V on the right is a bit off, but no one is seeing that, so the buckle is virtually perfect. What lets it down is the fraying and the darkness. But even that unless you had seen an original you simply wouldnt know. I think the way to go is the packaging. Big differences there.
