I bought a Pantum laser printer. I checked initially that it was compatible with debian, but it wouldn’t print on kernel 6.1 on my Asus notebook. After I updated the kernel to 6.9, the notebook or mxsystem automatically detected and installed it, and then it worked flawlessly.

6.1 kernel is old and outdate 6.10 is out lol
At least MX does provide a tool to upgrade to higher version.
