Try Manjaro (Mint is a great choose) just to tell your viewers about it.
It is "Arch made for human beings" more or less.
PS: Linux Mint Debian Edition is also a great distribution to try.
Maybe you should try Linux Mint Debian Edition. It's a version that ditch the Ubuntu part and was created from Linux Debian. I use both version on two different PC and they both work fine. In fact they work so fine they detect all the printers available on the network at the fire station and city hall, including both Kyocera Photo copying/laser color printer. I can print something in the A3 format in city hall while i'm at the fire station, or scan the document lelft on the glass of the copying portion of the city hall Kyrocera machine.
We have two windows 10 and 11 pc's and we can't do what Linux Mint can. With windows we are stuck with the local HP laser printer and if we want to print on the station Kyocera machine, we need the specific drivers and thes drivers don't open the scanner part of the local Kyocera photo copying/color laser printer. That's until the maintenance tech shows up and locks out any device that isn't windows, to avoid anyone of sending print jobs from their smartphone.
The problem with mp4s on Linux is its a windows format and many Linux builds like Ubuntu do not support that file format. I believe you can add the codex to be able to use Mp4 abs mkv files.
Not sure if you had a chance to review this in an earlier video, but why not use something like "spybot anti-beacon plus" to mitigate against the telemetry concerns?
"We turned it off" means "we are making screenshot and collecting your data anyway, but we send it to our servers only when you turn it on." - Oh, and Happy Birthday! 😄
😂 thank you.
That, or "We turned it off" and then 6 months later "accidentally" turn it back on in a Windows Update.
Another alternative AtlasOS & ReviOS to strip out the microScrap spying and resource hogging really speeds up windows 10+11
well.. "we are collecting the data anyway, we are just not telling you" :)
Happy Birthday! I just installed Linux Mint on a recently bought Windows laptop and everything works great - Internet, sound, video, etc.
Perfect.
Same here. I downloaded Linux Mint about a month ago and it has been good.
Sounds like you are starting to understand what you did gain with your switch to Linux. That is really really good! Switching away from Windows means departing almost all of your existing software and you notice immedeately what you lost. If a Linux program cannot do something a Windows program can do, you notice that immedeately and feel the pain. It is this what often makes people switch back to Windows after having tried Linux for a short while. Becoming aware of what new powers you have access to takes much longer. But on Linux you have a hell of a lot of powerful software available to you, all for free, and mostly at your fingertips, and once you discover all that power, your desire to go back to Windows decreases a lot.
Well, I dont need power, I have a few Software I use. I should not even notice the OS. But as some of the old software only works in a virtual machine on winxp. I try Linux again with virtual machine for XP
@@psxtuneservice VMWare Workstation Player is what I use for this purpose. You can use QEMU/KVM as well, but WMWare is slitghly better targetted at this use case in for example its user interface. A virtual Windows XP on my laptop is the only Windows installation I have in my household. Nowadays I only use it for some emergency where there is some pressing need to use a program that isn't on Linux, but I do not start it that often.
I kept a laptop with windows but my main machines all now run Linux
Well am glad you are doing it long term bud so kudos, being a Linux user for forever it is a little refreshing to see someone trying it for real and not just a 24 hour try....nuff said
Glad to see you are happy with Mint. I did what you did, experiment with a few OS's and then I landed on Mint. Now I am strictly technical, no gaming, don't have the time. Please everyone try out Linux, I am sure you will see how we feel. No MS. No spying. It is just wonderful. Good job J!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUDE!!! 🥳
I started off my career as a Win32 developer (desktop apps for a medical company). Then moved to MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class). But then I discovered Linux, and I haven't looked back since! ❤🐧
I did the same: MFC . In 2020 I switched to Linux Ubuntu and to Mac OS (M1). But I switched back to Windows 11. I only use MS hardware for my own usage. Extremely rock solid. I don't use Linux anymore, I don't need it.
@@sergelucalikasi Good for you! 👍
Happy Birthday. Another blue screen survived.
You have a great stuff here. The arrogance of that company in Win11 ( breach of privacy and taking users screenshots ) is beyond limits. Happy Birthday and Thanks.
I have been Windows free now for 1 week and have not caved!
@@keithc2390 I am enjoying it, it's not too hard to adjust to. It does kind of feel like I am in Windows anonymous 😂
Keep at it! Once you get past the initial pain of not having your regular software anymore it gets pretty pain free in most cases!
Happy Birthday!! Thank you for this series. I am really tempted to do this, so seeing how you overcome the different obstacles is very helpful.
Happy birthday from Wisconsin! My husband Bob also has a birthday today is 70th. I’m the Starlink fan and was able to install my version two Starlink and my TP link router with your help on the TH-cam videos. I really appreciate everything you do thank you.🎉🎉😂
Bro is milking this and I'm all for it. I switched back in June and ain't looking back 😎
Happy Birthday! And thank you for showing us how you are doing with Linux as a replacement for Windows, since there are many misinformers about this, either for installing an incorrect distribution or for not wanting to investigate in forums about the problem they want to solve. I switched to Linux Mint Mate 12 years ago and after 2 years of using it I no longer depended on Windows. I know that there is no perfect or ideal operating system and they all have their problems and benefits, each one will see which one best suits their needs. Greetings from BS AS Argentina.
Appreciate you taking the time to share!!
Happy Birthday to you. Loved your After Adobe series and learning a lot about Linux. Was always afraid to try it because there seems to be so much to learn, especially for this 72 year old brain but I think I'm going to give it a try. Thanks.
Thank you and it’s good that you’re using Linux.
been watching these life without windows videos for awhile.
i just wanna say these videos would have been so helpful when i made the switch to Linux 10 years ago.
Happy birthday and i hope you have a wonderful day!
HBD! Great video.
Been using Linux for a long time, but just wanted to congratulate you on your Linux journey, and for sticking with it. Not only that, but congrats are also in order for many of your viewers making the same switch. Bravo!!
🚀🚀🚀
Happy Birthday, my friend! The reason that MP4 and AAC encoders/decoders are not included is that MP4 and AAC are proprietary formats. To use them on the free version of Resolve would have required Blackmagic to charge for them. This is also the reason why you DO get them in the paid version for Linux.
I love how fast GIMP launches at 18:00, which takes 8 seconds on Windows here. I also like how low the pings have got on Starlink at 10:10, probably worth doing a separate video. It looks like I'm a good candidate for Linux as I mainly use Thunderbird, GIMP, Firefox, Brave, Sync, Spotify, Syncthing and occasionally DaVinci Resolve, all available for Linux. My workplace uses LibreOffice, no issue with document compatibility working from home. I use MikroTik network hardware at home and they recently released Winbox for Linux.
The last time I tried Linux also over 10 years back I had hardware driver issues, so that would be my only concern. Having seen how cheap NVMe SSDs are now and swapping as easy as changing a stick of RAM (plus a screw), it's very tempting, especially as my Intel i7 7700K CPU is not officially supported by Windows 11.
I bet u ya pull love it. So fast. Snappy.
Winbox is a small utility that allows the administration of MikroTik RouterOS using a fast and simple GUI. It is a native Win32 binary but can be run on Linux and macOS (OSX) using Wine.
- - - as soon as they mention WINE, I lost all interest.
A small tip: Davinci Resolve is not easy to install. There are some videos that show a possible way that can be hacky. An open source alternative to Resolve is Kdenlive.
Ive been testing the linux run for about 2 months. On labor day I completely wiped windows and aint missing it. Running Fedora 40. Happy Birthday 🎉
Another year wiser... Hope you had a good Birthday 👍
Its good to see more and more people switching to Linux. It appears the more people keep trickling to over to Linux the more devs appear to improve development which is great.
yes!! and thank you!
I have both windows and Linux, I have been using Linux for over 20 years, my favorite distro is the one I created myself, using a mini ISO and build from the terminal.
I prefer Debian, but if I want better compatibility I will use a mini Ubuntu to start with.
The first things I do, updates, install RT kernel (xanmod), install preload, adjust settings for ssd, then select my display manager, and everything else.
My current Linux setup is Debian, Nix, Hyprland.
Happy Birthday 🎂
Happy belated birthday Joe. Again, GREAT channel, I learn a lot every time I watch! Cheers!
🚀🚀🚀🚀
Yeah, that was good. Linux Mint. I had recently been looking at a switch out of windows, and Mint was one that I was thinking about targeting.
Nobara for over a year with no issues. New update manager in python, working out bugs. Photopea good Photoshop alternative, gimp (at least in the past) is destructive so not good for raw. Glorious Eggroll has done an excellent job with scripts and installs for Davinci and continues rolling out Proton updates. Gaming excellent, everything else works...
Greetings Birthday Boy, Many Happy Returns. Another good video and I have to agree 100% with your choice of Linux Mint (although I might recommend LMDE-6). I do not do the things you do but I design electronic test equipment and other circuit boards with KiCad. The Linux version of KiCad (Flatpack) is current and gives me no trouble at all on Mint (Ubuntu) or LMDE-6. There is only 1 thing I need windows for and that is an app that I can rip my purchased DVD's to my NAS to view on any of my machines. The app I use is a paid version and they do not have a Linux version. Once and IF I can find a Linux native replacement for this app I will not need Windows at all. You are correct in that Mint is a good alternative (for most users) to Windows. Keep up the great work. 😁
Makemkv
3 months sober on Nobora 40.
Lol
Been using Linux as a daily driver for more than 20 years. I was compiling everything on Gentoo early on before I switched to Arch, which I've been on essentially since the first year it was available.
Arch can take more effort in some cases, simply because it doesn't install everything out of the box. Whatever the distro was that you selected clearly didn't install the printer driver that you required, but know that all Linux is essentially using the same printing back end, so it's just a matter of you installing the right piece of software. The process of installing on Arch is actually easier because more things tend to be packaged but it can be more difficult when something is missing.
I like Arch because it's been very stable and constantly updated, but it can sometimes be easier to work with a Debian based distro like Ubuntu since most things come from the developer in the DEB format.
Congrats on the transition. 👍
Happy Birthday. Don’t stop now, you’re doing fantastic!
I put linux on everything, from asus eee pc 2g surf to mighty i9 12900K build. Happy Birthday!
Happy belated Birthday. I haven't turned on my Windows drive for about a month now, and i'm loving it!
Likewise.
Well, I finally did it. I pulled the windows drive and installed Linux Mint. As a desktop, it's actually.... usable. Finally.
I've installed a few of my most needed applications and I will see how I get along. Also, my PC runs about 3-5 degrees cooler on the CPUs and uses one heck of a lot less memory.
I still hate systemd though.
Oh! Happy birthday kid!
🙂 Yes, I made it to the end. I look forward to that chat with the developer of Photopea, if it happens.
This Life After Microsoft has been really good value so far.
My list does include two apps that absolutely need Windows. One of these is BBC Symphony Orchestra Core, which is a real System Resources hog. I'm not even dreaming of trying it on Wine. But for that I'm going to have a Windows 10 offline machine. BBCSO Core doesn't require being online. For everything else, Linux, here I come!
Edit: Happy Birthday.
You’ll love Linux even if it’s for part of the time. Thank you for the bday wishes.
@@jcristina Even as I write this, I'm reading the instructions for installing Ubuntu Studio and Linux Mint. Linux will be my Daily Driver.
I've been doing Linux since the days of Slackware and building your own kernel to work with the hardware you had, but also I've been daily driving Windows and it's time to switch with the exception of gaming. So I think I'm going to be dual-booting. I used Mint a long time ago but it's been a mix of vanilla Ubuntu and Rocky/Red Hat and that's partly for work (I'm a software engineer). On the strength of your other video, I think I'm going to try Mint again. I do some music as a hobby and it will be nice to see what's available for Linux in that space; I've not spent any time to learn DAWs so I can try Ardour and other stuff; I'm going to view it as an interesting challenge! Thanks for the video!
Oh ya. Mint has really shined for me.
I have been using Linux for almost 3 years now and everything has been working perfectly including my printer.
Happy Birthday!!! I've really been enjoying this series very much. I cut the cord way back on May 31st and haven't missed Windows since. Still working on a few minor "nice to haves", but overall, everything I need Linux to do just works.
Happy to hear that!!
Happy birthday young man! 🙂
Happy Birthday! 🎉 Thanks for sharing what is a bold experiment!
4 years after the demise of Windows 7 and I am still chugging along. As an average ex Windows user, all the tasks such as web surfing and entertainment videos work fine. Not a gamer but Steam is good I hear. I think with a little coaching, the average PC user could be quite happy with a Linux Mint or Ubuntu.
I may not make it tonight if I do it will be short, Happy Birthday JC. For many more trips around the sun.
Happy birthday Joe! Thank you for your time and all you do. Appreciate this series, testing and the enjoyable content. Have a great weekend sir.
Happy Birthday from Ireland. Enjoy your day.
First off, happy birthday and well wishes.
Secondly! Super happy to hear you find the penguin agreeable! Love seeing newcomers find the things they love about linux. Just an fyi tho, not sure if you misspoke, but even if you convert the driver to a general deb package fedora wouldn't work with it. It's built with the RPM package format so it can't open debs afaik, the general cross os format for system lvl packages is tarball (.tar files)
About the audio glitches: try different USB-Ports and no hub in between. Some ports have a more direct path into the internals, other have an onboard hub. Also, give tiling window managers or tiling functionality in your display manager a try. Takes a bit to get used to it, but can help a lot for productivity, especially in combination with multiple screens/workspaces.
Awesome. Will give it a shot.
Happy Birthday JCristina! I've got my new drive. I've made my list of hardware and programs I will need. I'm getting ready to make the change!
🚀🚀🚀 Thanks so much!!
I've been using Linux primarily since 2007, Tried all the distro's I could find. Had been with Ubuntu for the longest. I got tired of having to command line warrior random things to get it to work and be stable even LTS versions. Upon your recommendation I'm trying Fedora 40 now. Fast on an old Asus desktop compared to Ubuntu. So far so go good except for some random networking glitch but seems less and less as time goes by. Have not gotten Mint to work right on any computer so maybe I'll revisit later. Enjoying the series.
Been on Linux this entire year, been great have my Davinci Resolve, my Affinity suite working flawlessly , and my gaming. Maybe I should be learning GIMP to replace my affinity suite install but tbh Affinity works flawless under the custom WINE I use. Also I had a Elgato 4k60 mk.2 I ended up selling on ebay while back and swapping for one of their USB capture devices as Elgatos USB stuff will work as long as its USB with UVC support as Linux does have UVC drivers out of the box.
Honestly if affinity is working flawlessly, i'd be curious if you're open to sharimg your customizations xd
@@fuseteam its out there in a codeberg repo.. google "affinity-wine-docs" and should lead you to said repo and in its description will lead ya to the website for the guide.. fairly easy to use you can either follow it 100% or you can follow the guide for compiling the WINE and then copy said wine build to Bottles and have that manage your affinity install as the guide has a QA section telling you how to use bottles. would link it but TH-cam deletes it

Thank you 🤗
Happy Birthday from Malaysia JC! Awesome content 😍🥰👍🏼

I got rid of Windows about a month ago on my personal laptop and desktop. So far I love using Linux/UNIX.
Happy birthday... I turned 55 2 days ago.. :)
I have Fedora 40 KDE 6.1 on an older laptop.. and just installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on an older Lenovo Thinkcentre M700 i5..
But still have windows 11 on my gaming PC.... cant really find anything for my elgato wave 3 microphone and stream deck software...
Trying to interact with my smart switches and 3 NAS and 2 external HDD
Likewise. Age. I love Fedora but Mint is really doing well. Going to check out Pika Next
¡Feliz Cumpleaños! ¡Que pases un gran día! 🎂👍
Thank you very much.
Happy Brithdayy!!!
Happy belated birthday!!! Wishing you the best...
Back when I used Ubuntu 10.4, I remember a lot of Linux software being more limited and buggy. Much improved 14 years later :)
Hell ya. 100% for sure.
I used Linux while working at IBM Canada from 2016-2019 on their computers and had few issues other than terminology (this is called that in Linux). Thank you for this video. I will explore MINT because of it.
Blessings.
Many many happy returns Joe, be blessed in your new life year...

Truly appreciate it.
@@jcristina Most welcome.
The reason why DaVinci Resolve is or feels faster on Linux could also be a result of the video codec you are using. Regardless of the operating system, if it is a codec with very heavy compression such as H.264, H.265 or AV1, DaVinci Resolve or any video editor will have to decompress a lot during editing, which can and probably will result in a jerky editing experience (unless you have really really strong hardware). This is also the reason why there are codecs such as ProRes or Dnxhd/Dnxhr. They have a much lower compression, which leads to larger files, but editing the videos is much more relaxed than with H.264/H.265. If you then export the videos finally, you usually use a highly compressing codec such as H.265 to save storage space.
But apart from that, Linux is indeed faster and more resource-efficient than Windows and generally the better operating system 😉
I switched to Linux on Dec 29, 1997 and it has been my OS every since. For the last 8 years I have been running KDE Neon on top of BTRFS. It let it update automatically.
It takes about 1 minute to make an RO BTFRS snapshot for archival purposes and another minute or so to sent it to an archive CD using the "-p" parameter. I keep about 3 snapshots on my main drive under /mnt/snapshots. I can roll back to a previous snapshot in a couple minutes. I don't use any software app to make backups. In the last 8 years I've had to recover only once that I can remember (I'm 83 LOL!) If I have problems it is because of hardware.
For the majority of everyday and work computer use it is very possible, Except for gamers where there is is not much choice for now but it may soon change for Linux if there is a demand, the games will have more resources available, no more resource hogging by MS.
You may already have setup a secondary PC when you have no alternatives because you have invested so much in specific software for the PC, and use it 100% offline you don't need any updates because it works flawlessly, you don't need any antivirus it is completely off line.
Happy Birthday JC!!!
Great video thanks so much and happy birthday!!
Coming from a lifelong Windows guy who's spent time in Mac and Linux, but only recently decided daily driving Linux might actually be a possibility, I've settled on Mint for now. It's not gonna get me any cred in the Linux community but honestly I don't care (lol) Everything works the way I need it to and I don't need to spend time configuring everything.
I've used vanilla Debian Arch and Fedora. All are great in there own way, but there's just something about Mint. Just works. Yes, still on X11 and Wayland is getting really good, but I honestly don't feel like I'm missing out from not living on the bleeding edge. Just using my computer the way I want to.
Still usw Win/macOS for specific things, but Linux is now my main OS!
Have a wonderful birthday so I have ordered my drives as to I use de Vinci for my video editing for church I use a black magic pocket 4K .have a Blackmagic card in my computer as well that may be a option for you as they have Linux drivers out of the box. Cheers Evan .
Happy Birthday man!
Happy belated birthday.. it's very ready to stay on Linux as long as you don't play multiplayer games. My problem is I play a game that the devs took a hard line against Linux and said they would ban any players on Linux :(
Thank you.
@@jcristina Your Welcome. Love stories of people switching to Linux. I stilldual boot just because i am a gamer as stated before. For some reason using linux at least to me is fun, maybe becasue ther is so much to learn around it and it isnt windows. I hope you dont go back.
Happy belated birthday hope you enjoyed it.
Yes, thank you
4:05 I bet it's off by default but ends up being something turned on during setup, so most will just click "next" and enable it anyway.
Agree.
If the ads bother you, just extend the window until the ads are off the edge of the screen, and reconfigure for browser scroll bar on the left.
Happy birtday. I have following linux content for a while with the intent to switch to linux eventually. I recently bought a new computer and I am installing Linux on that with the intent to fully switch to linux in the short term. Microsofts recall "feature" was the straw that broke the beam. This series has already helped me so thank you.
Thanks Joe, You have saved me a lot work and time👍 Happy Birthday 🎂
Glad to help!! Blessings.
I am still struggling with getting my ntfs hard drives to mount. When I figure it out I'll throw a comment in one of these videos. Again, Happy Birthday!
Most Linux distributions should be able to mount ntfs drives. Otherwise install the ntfs-3g package from Linux distribution package manager.
@@oscs4556 Well I tried that but the package shows as already installed and I don't know how to uninstall it since there is no prompt coming up. I am about to uninstall mint altogether and start with a new download of the distro from scratch. maybe see if I can get a CD or something.
@@oscs4556 Well I finally got it. Some of us newbies are pretty dense. Now I guess I'll go to the mint web page and see if someone can help me get on my LAN, Windows controlled of course.
Oh and happy birthday. Mine is on the 26th.
Happy early birthday!!
I use the 4k elgato capture card on Linux and really haven't had issues besides it not detecting a few years back when I used to use it a lot. I doubt you will see this comment, but if you do, I can help with any issues you might encounter on Linux. Also, happy birthday man. Looking forward to the chat with the creator of Photopea.
I ditched windows for manjaro in 2018 and haven't looked back. I've been able to play any game i've wanted in linux. Guild wars 2, titanfall, tomb raider, control, balders gate 3, the hunter call of the wild, table top simulator, among us, borderlands 3. No issues at all through steam with proton. You too can break free from microsoft
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I am glad that you call out Corsair (owner of Elgato) for being lazy and not arranging a Linux driver. For one of their keyboards one of the employees of Corsair only did so as a volunteer job when a user on Reddit complained about it not having support for Linux. It is awesome that he did this but it shouldn't be that he has to do this as a volunteer and it only happens when a great guy like him happens to read it on Reddit. Also that has to run in the userspace and you really want such drivers to run in the kernelspace which only is possible when the code is opensource and which is much more likely when it gets the company's blessing, this of course after a process of quality-control, the main kernel-developers (Torvalds and Hartman) are incredibly strict, that is a good thing.
If you have a spare drive, I'd like to hear your experience running Mint LMDE. I run the two almost interchangeably and I'd like to hear your opinion on it. ( I think a lot of Mint Users are rooting for Mint to cut the Ubuntu chord and go direct to Debian . That makes us free of any commercial venture. )
Point well taken.. Now dev need to write drivers "MORE' for debian as the majority are for Ubuntu sadly.
Happy Birthday Joe!
Happy Birthday Mate! Stuart Linux Mint user from Melbourne AU
Here is an issue that has been happening with Windows lately. Sometimes, after you do certain Windows updates and restart your PC to install those updates, it can sometimes enable "Recall " back on by default unless you go through the annoyance of disabling it on the registry edit and disabling it on the Windows Group Policy settings.
Of course, I don't recommend this for everyone to do because this can mess up your PC if you don't know what you're doing in making a mistake on your Windows registry entries. Microsoft is a very sneaky company with their spyware named "Recall." Take caution if you're still using Windows and you install updates on it.
Happy birthday JC 🎂 , thanks for the videos.
I have always loved Linux...
In a strange kind of a way.
Used to test it in 1 to 2 years cycles. Until I got bored, because the advancement was extremely slow.
A few years ago I was bored and decided to check Linux out again. Saw it had advanced in giant leaps. Fell in love with Garuda Linux.
Where am I now? Well, I still love Garuda.
And if multiplayer games would actually work (mainly Fortnite and yes, I'm like 51 and love it). There would not be anything stopping me to change totally.
Better half would maybe think differently... Though, she doesn't use anything, that wouldn't work at Linux... So, that would not be a problem for her either...
So, it's multiplayer games then!
Anyway, I still have Garuda on my laptop and made one machine for it also...
I cannot be without one machine, with Garuda anymore. Now could I? 😊
Sadly Epic already announced that they wont enable the Anticheat support for Linux in Fortnite. Apparently Tim Sweeny hates everything not Windows for PC gaming.
@@gelbphoenixYeah, he claimed the reason being the possibility to change Kernels...
Personally I think that was just a made up reason. But what can one do...
@@miikasuominen3845 Yep. Also Sweeny claimed that only Cheaters and (malicious) Hackers use Linux (which is completely false btw) and because of that Epic doesn't enable Linux support for Fortnite.
Happy birthday!!
Thank you.
yes ive recently switched from windows to bodhi linux running the gnome de its nice and more customizable than windows ever could be :)

The issue with installing Linux (or any OS) on a USB stick, is that the speed is not related to the speed they print on the packaging... some of them use the "BOT" USB protocol, which stands for "Bulk only Transfer", while others use the newer "UASP" USB protocol, which stands for "USB Attached SCSI Protocol" - and the former can only handle one action at a time, so if you use it for the US drive, and the OS needs to save a big file, then everything will simply stop until that's done, while the UASP type works like a hard drive, which can handle more than one task at a time, and hence it works much much better for an OS drive.
The problem is that most memory sticks don't tell you which protocol they use, and the cheaper ones generally use BOT..... The only way I found to reliably get a UASP stick, is to get one of the types that works as an adapter for an mSATA, or NVMe drive... and then get a cheap mSATA or NVMe. You can try your USB stick, some BOT drives are better than others, but if it's /really/ slow, then that is the reason.
Happy birthday🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You mentioned the dropped frame problem and I have only noticed one time during the introduction so far.
Happy Birthday Sir!
Happy Birthday brother!!
Happy Birthday Ole Man!
Yes. 😂
Happy Birthday Joe, I hope it is an awesome day.
Thanks so much.
Happy Birthday 🎉🎉🎈🎈
Thank you.
I've been using Linux since the '90s. I use OBS, Davinci Resolve, and many other native Linux apps. I use but still hate Gimp with a passion, though.
Happy Birthday and thank you for the great video. In my opinion and for me I feel Linux Mint all around when it comes to drives offers more out of the box then most other Distros. I hope you will give Zorin OS a spin to see how it compares to Linux Mint for you.
Subscribed ... again for the 3rd time. TH-cam keeps on unsubscribing me. Go figure.
Linux thoughts - Great that you are all-in with Linux and solving problems.
Suggestion: Try Activities instead of Workspaces. Can customize wallpaper, for each screen and set up a widget and keystrokes to switch between Activity screens.
Linux does not monitor you. There are distros to fit every need. Btw, Archcraft is a user-friendly version of Arch (which is really for tinkerers, power users, geeks, etc.)
Sorry if I missed this, but a list of your software on Linux (related to your work) would be helpful for those looking to convert to Linux.
😢. So stupid.
