    Hey Eddie, just finished the entire series. Just wanted to say that it really helped me to learn Logic Pro from scratch and with zero prior knowledge of how to make music. Through all the ups and downs and troubleshooting with you throughout the series, I now have the confidence to tackle whatever Logic Pro has to offer. I've seen a lot of comments from viewers saying that there wasn't enough in depth material, but I personally felt that it was more helpful to get a concrete overview of the user guide and then do further research on my own based off of what was covered in your videos. Started this series in June, and after thousands of hours I finally learned this great DAW. Thankful for your videos and can't wait to start making music in Logic Pro.

      @ooetone I totally agree. I am actually putting together a course at the moment, breaking down all the constituents. It should be on my other channel @ThatLogicProGuy - Cheers!

    41:51 Maybe you could use this feature, so you had one command “pressed” making Logic record when pressed a button and held it down, and then a “release” command to stop Logic when you let go of the button..?

      Spot on with this. Did you get it working by chance?

    I wish the instructor had taken the time to learn what each mode, zone, setting etc does before making the video. It felt like he was going thru the set up for the first time and kept asking "what does this do?" or "I wish we had a deeper tutorial on this" as he was reading the user's guide. I appreciate his help, but it he needs to KNOW what to due before teaching.

      Thank you so much for your input. If you watch the beginning of the series, the whole point of this is about learning on the goal. I have plenty of other tutorials that are in depth. Anyhow, I know a lot more about control surface is now than I did back then and I plan on making more content soon. Thank you so much

    Hello, been having a big problem. I have an effects bus with a bunch of different plugins that I assigned to my midi controller. But whenever I switch to a new track, all of my assignments are changed. And when I save them, if I pull the bus up on a different track. The assignments are gone as well. It seems I can only get it to work on one track if I stay on that track and don't click off. But obviously I don't want that.

      Hi there. Yes, I completely understand what’s happening. I have spent a considerable amount of time researching this, and I am currently putting together a course that will be released on my other channel @ThatLogicProGuy - lots of people have been requesting this, so I will do my best to put it together. Thank you much.

      @@_TheModernCreative yes please address our frustration. 99% tutorials on youtube are about learning mode, but do not explain how to retain the settings, after one spend hours is terrible to see lost all the mapping work, nor how to use multiple controllers etc

    I"m trying to assign a fader for velocity for 2 days now. But I realized you cant choose any parameter from the piano roll section. Do you have any formula for that?

      Have you tried using Midi FX by chance?

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@_TheModernCreative If I assign a fader, which I didnt try yet, it will work only when I insert midi FX but I want it to work with any midi channel that I use. Its so frustrating. And mapping definitely should be more user friendly.

    • @_TheModernCreative
      @_TheModernCreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Midi FX seems to be the only way to tackle this. I will be releasing a course on control services soon, so be sure to sub. Have a great Monday @sonayakcen

      Not yet. There is such a little information on this subject it’s hard to navigate. If you get any bites let me know. Cheers!

    I have all my mappings saved in my template. As soon as I restart my Mac, everything is gone. Hours and hours of work mapping these POS.

      Did you watch the course on control surfaces? It’s on my other channel. I talk about saving the Clist. Back that up so this does not happen again. 🙏💪👍🔥💯
