I started my e-board life with a couple Zealot S boards. They've been super reliable and fun. I'm now moving onto something with a much better range but the Zealot's are a great board. I wouldn't mind trying the X.
Very good video! One of the first videos on the board that actually answers all of my concerns. One thing I still actually have in mind, is if the LED’s with the anti collision material will get scratched up in the back of the board over time…? But that was the only thing. Great video, explaining and showing everything down to every little detail! Like from me💪
Fantastic reviews, thanks so much for making them. I love skating but had a few years of work and no play, and the last board I had was a Meepo AWD pro. I was thinking of getting either this or the meepo voyager X. This one by far looks better, but what would your preference be?
If they went with the 40t it would have to be a 14s3p to keep the same range. Not sure about reliability but I think paired with the 14s configuration the 50s cells are fine.
Great follow up to the trailer. Thanks for the info. I have an old zealot that the battery has really declined on and would like to replace it with better cells but don’t know who to contact.
⚡ *Impressive specs, wish they had these specs with the S2 aesthetic* 👀⚡ I've noticed a handful of companies goin with 50S cells. "X Gon' Give It To Ya" 🤙🏼 (Had to say it lol)
Nice review as always Scotty, just a question about the customisation in the remote. Is there a function of changing wheel diameters and cogs and customising this in the remote settings so the speed and distance is still accurate? Looks like a cracker of a ride although I did notice some shimmy in the tail of the board a few times. Did you notice it too?
I'm impressed it got up that hill, it's a beast of a hill, never looks it in pics or video. Also, Brisbane path life, those thumping great joins on the Story Bridge, and all the other roughness we deal with, part of why I ditched my 2S Pro hub board, and promised I'd not get another board till I can afford something that will run pneumatic tyres.
Is it possible to charge the board while riding? Then you could extend the range by charging the board from a battery with 230 volt outlet in a backpack.
Tell me what you think about this one, because I was thinking about getting one but changed my mind over the Voyager X, pls tell me what one performance better. Thanks bro, all ways good to see your videos
If raw power is your goal you made the right decision. The voyager is a fantastic choice The backfire is a little more polished and has the glow but voyager wins the power and torque spec
Hi Scott, Question: Have you come across an issue with your Zealot X ESC suddenly not working? I have a Zealot X, and its been a little over a year since i got it. I have taken excellent care of my board, never taken it out in rain and have always stored the board in a moisture proof room. Yet now it looks like the Esc is no longer functioning. Backfire Tech support have not been helpful at all
What a 'lovely' review and that stunning backdrop at the end❤ Not much about that board I don't like, maybe the forward/reverse switch could be in a better place?💯🔥
@@scottdaviesyoutube I hear alot of Bad stuff and complains about the Board but the general ride seems to be perfect. Im also thinking about buying the Tynee Explorer for 900€ but the Voyager is more stealth and doesnt Expose the Motors that much so I could actually ride it on the street
There is no doubt they look cool. I wish I had that remote for the board I just got. The only thing I can read on mine is the speed. Anrything else requires me having to put reading glasses on.
Ah man the remote is beautiful The screen is like a HD TV 😂 But it’s the weight and shape that does it for me, The wheel sticks out and is so easy to feel and accelerate and stop
@@scottdaviesyoutube Yes, I can tell through the video that it is fantastic. How solid is it? Think it will survive a few wipeouts? Oh and hey man, thanks for your work with all these skate reviews. You were a big part in me purchasing an E-Board. Oh and I love it. No regrets. For the money it is the most fun thing I ever bought.. Probably going to hit the 300km mark tonight.
@@FactsOverFeeings functionally, I'm more interested in range so the 10ah Verreal F1 Max for £450 is likely the most affordable considering its battery size, plus single enclosure for deck swaps. Only does 24mph though. Anything faster or with a larger battery is more expensive
@@FactsOverFeeings it can be extremely difficult to be exact with range claims due to rider weight, speed mode used, and hill climbs on your route. Most range claims are done at slower speeds and with a 70kg rider on flat ground
I hate to say this and I'm not necessarily correct but it just makes me f****** horrified watching People skateboard who do not surf their style makes me ill....😢
The led lights is a big selling point for me thx for the review Scott

10/10 video! Would love to see a range test on the board :) keep it up!
Coming soon (give me 3 weeks)
Backfire wheels are so durable. I have almost 2000 km on zealot and they still look brand new :)
Yep, they have an amazing compound

I love you're videos man!!!! Always learning new stuff and gives advice on boards I so appreciate!!! Thank you!!!!
amazing review as usual! How did you like hard braking on your X? mine was definitely slipping quite a bit.
Tighten your belts! If they are still loose go a size down
The tolerance can be off sometimes and you need to get a smaller belt than recommended. You can get belts from 3rd party companies also
I have to adjust mine to around 50% braking power to avoid losing traction
waiting on my zealot x for over a week, super excited!
Anyway to change the KPH to MPH on the remote
Love a glowing….deck…. Stiff, firm, curved…..any hoo. Lovely review. Fantastic board and really awesome set up!

Nice review Scott. Such a nice board. I’m loving that remote.
When's the Nomad coming?
Soon about a week away
Just waiting for the green light
I think they wanted to have a large chunk ready to ship straight away
Just got to love that remote 😍 and your Shirt BTW. Lol. Thanks for the Video.
Going to test Zealot S2?
“Apparently” hope to see one soon !
Great video. The lights look amazing. I wish it had more flex but I totally understand with the new battery it stiffens up the deck.

Nice Video! When will you make a review about the Zealot S2?
In about 2 weeks
@@scottdaviesyoutube How is the torque of the Zealot S2 in comparison to the Exway flex pro?

I love the Trohn look

From memory when you plug the board in to charge it disables the esc, so no unfortunately it wouldn’t work

Can handle those bumps on the bridge very well
As long as you prepare and lift your weight those 96mm wheels handle them fine

Having a hard time between this and the tynee ultra x, which one did you enjoy more?
@@davidrudd4869 the ultra X was the better board to ride
More power smoother and less rattles

50s has a higher capacity so it’s the same range as the meepo voyager

Great review great board
Beautiful board awesome review 🔥
Love my galaxy, not the fastest but very reliable especially for the price, I gave it to my brother and it's still going strong after 1600 miles
remote went flat, because you left it on? mine turns itself off if not used. something wrong there mate.
Left the board on and on charge so it stayed connected 😂
Just a perfect storm
Normally turns off auto after 5 minutes
I never turn my eovan on while charging, so not seen what happens if remote left on.
Wasn’t that I turned it on, I didn’t turn it off chucked on charge and I think the board kept a signal to the remote
