I could see regular fire-type Salandits and Salazzles also existing within the region's volcanic areas, to be honest! PLA featuring both versions of Vulpix (to some extent) made me think about how some variants could possibly co-exist within a same region and I really like that idea!
All these designs are pretty insane, especially redda and garbocean. Also the idea of an activist using poison types to prove a point is actually genius, since several poison types are literal trash and pollution or are affected by it. Personal I see it as a missed opportunity to not have werewolf or lupine traits on the porpunk line which is based on the lupin flower, but that’s just me. Porpunk still looks pretty cool.

I really dig these new poison types. Cetacrude, Redda, and Garbocean are my favorites of the bunch. I find it ironic that an enviromental activist uses poison types in battle to show how dangerous they can be if left unchecked. I also love the idea of having to fight the elite four members once before making it to the Pokemon League for the proper showdown. It's a neat way for players to become familar with them.

When I first found your Fyrun work, the first Pokémon I saw was the Fryunian Trubbish and Garbocean and I LOVED IT I’ve been obsessed with your work just as much as the Ilpino Region

I would've gone with Garbarge a combination of Garbage and Barge which is often what garbage is transported on. I really like the Poison type and your Grass/Poison type is my favourite of these.

i think purpunk might be one of my favourite pokemon of all time I love it!! it has such strong tsareena vibes but more punk (obviously) I love how clearly the plant imagery reads whilst also being anphropromorphic and expressive with its personality! i hope this is a real fakemon game one day purely so I can have one on my team! and irma is such a stunning design too I adore her

This video is great! Really loving all these concepts! As far as the whole ‘being yourself and ignoring the haters’ part, I think it’s definitely a great idea. I think you should follow it in your videos too though, as it often seems like you spend a lot of the time predicting people’s complaints about each mon. This makes you seem a little bit insecure about the concepts, which of course you shouldn’t be because they’re great!! People will but baseless complaints in the comments no matter what and you can’t play to that. Don’t let them get to you :)
I love all the creative creatures that you make. You're one of the few consistent Fakemon creators that I love and follow religiously. Just a tiny thing; I would've liked if you named Redda Reddaffup as it is Puff Adder reversed. It just has a nice ring but I love it all so it's just something small I thought of.
In the nordic region you could do a Poison/Rock or Poison/Grass and make a nordic troll. A cool ability you could give it, could be a type of Zen mode, but is active when there is Sun up.
Garbocean is awesome! I was honestly expecting inspiration from a kraken, which would make it seem more dangerous. I would love to see more poison types!

I always enjoy your videos! I will say one of my favorite aspects of your regions are ways the story-building that you do. I love the concept of not just encountering the Elite 4 throughout your journey but also getting to engage in battle with them. I think it would be cool for player to not realize that they are part of the elite 4 though until actually encountering them during that part of the game!

OMG, I just discovered this region(amazing by the way) and I have actually thought of a fakemon region the games are called Pokemon: Beauty, Pokemon: Brains, and Pokemon: Brawn, and the legendaries are based on that concept! But, I thought of them recently and so you made them first.😅❤
This is a pretty neat vid, I'm lucky I got it randomly on my suggested. Everything hits home aesthetically and ability wise imo, although you didn't go over Ekans and Redda's ability Mesmerize so idk what it's supposed to do. I can only hope their base stats are equally favorable. I've got some questions regarding your ideas: what's the deal with the PokeWeapons anyway? Are their trainers actually entering battle wielding them? Also, the trash crisis could likely be worked on by importing Alolan Grimer and Muk as they are a variant species responsible for Alola's trash disposal where beforehand it was becoming near uncontrollable. The evil teams as well seem very weird, although I have nothing to go off of. What are their motives? Team Aqua and Magma were similarly weird but they communicated their ideals and plans to manipulate the environment rather quickly and were otherwise typical criminals with violent tendancies. Meanwhile, Brain and Brawn look like university students, very much like how Team Star were insurgent university students, so why would they be battling on an oil rig that they'd definitely have no permission to access, and for what goal? Fyrúnian Salandit and Salizzard piqued my interest in particular. I'd really love to hear what you have planned for this Pokemon line because the concept has a lot of potential imo. I can only speculate or imagine how it would work for them, so if this is wrong then do let me know please. Please forgive me for the large text dump: We know Alolan Salandit females evolve into Salazzle while males do not because of a combination of malnutrition on the male's part and straight up genetics on both fronts thanks to their lifestyle. In fact, females in particular are born with the ability to create pheromones within their toxic gases whereas male toxic gas simply disorient and do not alter the mind state. Salazzle amplifies this lifestyle, which is why it has its reverse harem in the first place, and the pheromones become strong enough to affect males of other species including humans so the chemical effect is not even genetic but a true phenomenon. The inspiration behind this also lies within the Polynesian mythical dragon called the Mo' o, which are large, black female lizards able to shapeshift into multiple things but particularly become palm trees and beautiful women to seduce men. Fyrúnian Salandit departs from its roots by altering the chemical component of its bodily fluids to better acclimate to its environment, which is likely how it becomes Ice/Poison. This would mean theoretically F-Salandit, both male and female, cannot produce pheromones. F-Salandit males would have plenty of generations of proper nutrition to bolster its DNA, but the only way for the evolution dichotomy to change from female to male would have to be from a mutation guided by the body fluid chemical difference that likely nullifies the female's specific reliance on pheromones, and whatever lifestyle the F-Salandits adopted to survive. A-Salandits were ambush predators using toxic gas to subdue while going in for the kill, so I theorize that F-Salandits use similar tactics but have more difficulty in snowy areas due to their contrasting black color on the white snow. It is quite possible that F-Salandit can't actually produce debilitating gas anymore due to the colder temperatures and so had to physically engage with toxic+ freezing spit and claws instead. Males would be genetically more inclined for this lifestyle due to higher testosterone levels and so took the lead while the females likely learned to join them in pack hunts, which establishes the relationship needed for the eventual harem. I do not know what you based Salizzard on, so I will continue under the assumption it is based on Vikings or otherwise ancient Scandinavians and would similarly emulate their culture. After enough battle experience and the mastery of their body (i.e standard evolution level 33) the males would evolve to further fit their role as essentially chieftains, increasing in body mass and physical strength to mirror Salazzle's special strength. Whether they have the same speeds is debatable due again to sexual dichotomy in males usually making them slower but more resistant, so a BST change might mean flipping Salazzle's Atk (64) with its SpAtk(111) and taking 10 or 20 points from its Speed(117) to add to its Def(60) and SpDef(60). However, this would render Salizzard slower than Salazzle and thus at its mercy in battle should the two meet. So, Salizzards would rule over their harem similarly to Salazzle but, unlike the latter, would command respect authentically through trust or via the rite of battle; F-Salandit recently bested in battle would be added to the harem as thralls while those that previously joined the Salizzard and proved their trust and worth, especially before its evolution, are higher in hierarchy. The harem hunts together but they also forage for fruits and seeds occasionally to bring back to their current nest where they store and attempt to cultivate what they can to consume later. If the harem is large enough then excess females would be left to guard the den and would swap places with the hunting pack occassionally. Male F-Salandits born from the harem are nurtured by the female Salandits at their nest up to the point where the Salizzard then begins bringing them to hunts to teach them what to do and how to survive both alone and in a pack, after which the male F-Salandit(s) are sent off to grow and start his own pack. Often times two Salizzard packs will encounter each other, at which point they likely will challenge each other both by flaunting their present harem size and then to a duel, the loser forfeiting their thralls to the winner. Rarely, however, two or more Salizzard harems might decide to merge into a community should the Salizzards be equally willing to cooperate, which can potentially be a devastating event for the nearby ecosystem if it surfaces; large scale Salizzard hunting parties are incredibly coordinated and dangerous. Assuming that A-Salandit and Salazzle can be found in the wild in Fyrún, in the event that a Salizzard and a Salazzle happen to meet, both Pokemon would be incredibly wary of each other, not as hostile as Zangoose vs Seviper but comparable. The Salazzle usually will attempt to seduce the Salizzard with its pheromones with mixed success; some are completely immune while others respond variably to exposure, some keeping their wits to a degree while others don't. Successfully enslaving the Salizzard will result in a shaky subservience, visibly shown with toxic drool and froth slowly dripping from its mouth, but in the event the Salizzard is not fully seduced, instead it will enter a berserk frenzy with severe toxic drooling and froth directed at anything that smells like the offending Salazzle which is enough for the Salazzle to immediately return fire, literally, or to flee as fast as it can regardless of if its harem follows. A truly mutual pair bonding of a Salizzard and a Salazzle is astronomically unlikely and assumed impossible, as all previous human directed case studies ended in failure or enslavement attempts, so no information on the results of the pair is available. The female F-Salandit harem would be unaffected by the pheromones whereas males would remain fully susceptible like their Alolan counterparts. In fact, due to the lifestyle of the A-Salandit within a Salazzle's harem, F-Salandit males would be unable to evolve until it is able to break free and rehabilitate from the effects of prolonged pheromone exposure and malnutrition.
I love Oiluga's inspiration and design ! 😍🐳 It's very bold to have Pokemon that references how damaging oil spills are on marine life. But having it actually absorb the poison to protect other Pokémon is something I feel Game Freak would do, too ! It would be cool if the concept of Ambergris could be integrated into either its design, or Pokédex entry ! Ambergris is a very smelly substance produced by cetaceans, so it would be fitting of the poison type !
I love these new Poison type pokemon, Irma is so cool she's great, sorry for all the bad things people are saying, there are 3 Norse mythology characters that you should make in to pokemon the first one should be be based on JORMUNGANDR the next one should be base on GARMR OR GARM which ever you want to call it and finally the last one should be based on HEL you have pokemon base on God's I think one based on her would be very cool.

On the note of no reptiles being found in Scandinavian regions. While this is accurate, I will offer this little nugget of mythology to take inspiration from, another serpent pokemon based on the enormous Jormungandr. I would **adore** a pokemon based on such an awe-inspiring character of Norse lore.
Might I suggest a couple options for including Oiluga and Cetacrude in the Legends Reilmdall? Option one is there is a prevolution of Oiluga found in Reilmdall, that is no long available in the modern day. Option two would be to have the pokedex entries for Oiluga and Cetacrude reference their "love" for oils and the like. this would work as people wouldn't yet understand why they "like" oil so much yet.
Happy New Year to you too, Mykel. While Poison types are not one of my personal favorites, I can’t deny the designs of these sickeningly sweet Pokemon. Firstly Porifoam, who I don’t think I talked about at all prior. A very cute and quite possibly literal damage sponge. The Purpunk line looks a bit weedy on first glance, but don’t think I’m going to underestimate it simply because it’s a Grass/Poison type. Trust me, I’ve seen that power first hand. Just ask my Vileplume, Hemlock.(Two sets of Toxic Spikes and four Big Root-boosted Giga Drains later, and two-thirds of Leon’s team were laid to rest in the dumpster behind Bob’s Your Uncle.) Oiluga and Cetacrude I enjoy to a good degree, though I’m not sure if I should nickname mine Willy. As for the Regional variants and their evolutions, they’re just as good as the nicknames I have for them. Ekans and Redda truly grabbed and held my attention, no doubt due to their hypnotic patterns and powers. Redda, I dub the Mesmer. Salandit and Salizzard are a great counterpart to Salazzle, with a great type combo to boot that I really want in a main series game. Salizzard, thy name shall be Antifreeze. As for Trubbish and Garbocean, I love the design, but also hate what it’s based on. Oceanic garbage patches suck, are an eyesore to look at, and need to be removed from our planet’s big blue sea permanently. Garbocean, I my nickname for you is G.P.G.P,(Short for Great Pacific Garbage Patch. #Teamseas). As for Irma, may our battle not be as bad as a Toxic waste spill is to the environment. P.S. sorry for what happened at the oil rig.
I really love thw idea of a male salandit to evolve, as much as think salazzle is cool, I do hink sallazle should have a male evo (even though the female thing makes it unique )
If you fix the Ice Type Salizzard would only have 4 weaknesses Fire, Rock, Steel and Psychic which would make it tough to beat if it had Ground Type moves. Ice Type should be resistant to Ground, Flying and Dragon to make Ice a decent Type.

Just a tiny thing; I would've liked if you named Redda Reddaffup as it is Puff Adder reversed. It just has a nice ring but I love it all so it's just something small I thought of.

In the nordic region you could do a Poison/Rock or Poison/Grass and make a nordic troll. A cool ability you could give it, could be a type of Zen mode, but is active when there is Sun up.

I always enjoy your videos! I will say one of my favorite aspects of your regions are ways the story-building that you do. I love the concept of not just encountering the Elite 4 throughout your journey but also getting to engage in battle with them. I think it would be cool for player to not realize that they are part of the elite 4 though until actually encountering them during that part of the game!

Great new poison mons in his video, I especially like Salizzard because I always hoped for a male counterpart to the female form, and great designs and versions by all the artists involved. 👍

This is a pretty neat vid, I'm lucky I got it randomly on my suggested. Everything hits home aesthetically and ability wise imo, although you didn't go over Ekans and Redda's ability Mesmerize so idk what it's supposed to do. I can only hope their base stats are equally favorable.
I've got some questions regarding your ideas: what's the deal with the PokeWeapons anyway? Are their trainers actually entering battle wielding them? Also, the trash crisis could likely be worked on by importing Alolan Grimer and Muk as they are a variant species responsible for Alola's trash disposal where beforehand it was becoming near uncontrollable. The evil teams as well seem very weird, although I have nothing to go off of. What are their motives? Team Aqua and Magma were similarly weird but they communicated their ideals and plans to manipulate the environment rather quickly and were otherwise typical criminals with violent tendancies. Meanwhile, Brain and Brawn look like university students, very much like how Team Star were insurgent university students, so why would they be battling on an oil rig that they'd definitely have no permission to access, and for what goal?
Fyrúnian Salandit and Salizzard piqued my interest in particular. I'd really love to hear what you have planned for this Pokemon line because the concept has a lot of potential imo. I can only speculate or imagine how it would work for them, so if this is wrong then do let me know please. Please forgive me for the large text dump:
We know Alolan Salandit females evolve into Salazzle while males do not because of a combination of malnutrition on the male's part and straight up genetics on both fronts thanks to their lifestyle. In fact, females in particular are born with the ability to create pheromones within their toxic gases whereas male toxic gas simply disorient and do not alter the mind state. Salazzle amplifies this lifestyle, which is why it has its reverse harem in the first place, and the pheromones become strong enough to affect males of other species including humans so the chemical effect is not even genetic but a true phenomenon. The inspiration behind this also lies within the Polynesian mythical dragon called the Mo' o, which are large, black female lizards able to shapeshift into multiple things but particularly become palm trees and beautiful women to seduce men.
Fyrúnian Salandit departs from its roots by altering the chemical component of its bodily fluids to better acclimate to its environment, which is likely how it becomes Ice/Poison. This would mean theoretically F-Salandit, both male and female, cannot produce pheromones. F-Salandit males would have plenty of generations of proper nutrition to bolster its DNA, but the only way for the evolution dichotomy to change from female to male would have to be from a mutation guided by the body fluid chemical difference that likely nullifies the female's specific reliance on pheromones, and whatever lifestyle the F-Salandits adopted to survive. A-Salandits were ambush predators using toxic gas to subdue while going in for the kill, so I theorize that F-Salandits use similar tactics but have more difficulty in snowy areas due to their contrasting black color on the white snow. It is quite possible that F-Salandit can't actually produce debilitating gas anymore due to the colder temperatures and so had to physically engage with toxic+ freezing spit and claws instead. Males would be genetically more inclined for this lifestyle due to higher testosterone levels and so took the lead while the females likely learned to join them in pack hunts, which establishes the relationship needed for the eventual harem.
I do not know what you based Salizzard on, so I will continue under the assumption it is based on Vikings or otherwise ancient Scandinavians and would similarly emulate their culture. After enough battle experience and the mastery of their body (i.e standard evolution level 33) the males would evolve to further fit their role as essentially chieftains, increasing in body mass and physical strength to mirror Salazzle's special strength. Whether they have the same speeds is debatable due again to sexual dichotomy in males usually making them slower but more resistant, so a BST change might mean flipping Salazzle's Atk (64) with its SpAtk(111) and taking 10 or 20 points from its Speed(117) to add to its Def(60) and SpDef(60). However, this would render Salizzard slower than Salazzle and thus at its mercy in battle should the two meet.
So, Salizzards would rule over their harem similarly to Salazzle but, unlike the latter, would command respect authentically through trust or via the rite of battle; F-Salandit recently bested in battle would be added to the harem as thralls while those that previously joined the Salizzard and proved their trust and worth, especially before its evolution, are higher in hierarchy. The harem hunts together but they also forage for fruits and seeds occasionally to bring back to their current nest where they store and attempt to cultivate what they can to consume later. If the harem is large enough then excess females would be left to guard the den and would swap places with the hunting pack occassionally. Male F-Salandits born from the harem are nurtured by the female Salandits at their nest up to the point where the Salizzard then begins bringing them to hunts to teach them what to do and how to survive both alone and in a pack, after which the male F-Salandit(s) are sent off to grow and start his own pack. Often times two Salizzard packs will encounter each other, at which point they likely will challenge each other both by flaunting their present harem size and then to a duel, the loser forfeiting their thralls to the winner. Rarely, however, two or more Salizzard harems might decide to merge into a community should the Salizzards be equally willing to cooperate, which can potentially be a devastating event for the nearby ecosystem if it surfaces; large scale Salizzard hunting parties are incredibly coordinated and dangerous.
Assuming that A-Salandit and Salazzle can be found in the wild in Fyrún, in the event that a Salizzard and a Salazzle happen to meet, both Pokemon would be incredibly wary of each other, not as hostile as Zangoose vs Seviper but comparable. The Salazzle usually will attempt to seduce the Salizzard with its pheromones with mixed success; some are completely immune while others respond variably to exposure, some keeping their wits to a degree while others don't. Successfully enslaving the Salizzard will result in a shaky subservience, visibly shown with toxic drool and froth slowly dripping from its mouth, but in the event the Salizzard is not fully seduced, instead it will enter a berserk frenzy with severe toxic drooling and froth directed at anything that smells like the offending Salazzle which is enough for the Salazzle to immediately return fire, literally, or to flee as fast as it can regardless of if its harem follows. A truly mutual pair bonding of a Salizzard and a Salazzle is astronomically unlikely and assumed impossible, as all previous human directed case studies ended in failure or enslavement attempts, so no information on the results of the pair is available. The female F-Salandit harem would be unaffected by the pheromones whereas males would remain fully susceptible like their Alolan counterparts. In fact, due to the lifestyle of the A-Salandit within a Salazzle's harem, F-Salandit males would be unable to evolve until it is able to break free and rehabilitate from the effects of prolonged pheromone exposure and malnutrition.

While this is accurate, I will offer this little nugget of mythology to take inspiration from, another serpent pokemon based on the enormous Jormungandr. I would **adore** a pokemon based on such an awe-inspiring character of Norse lore.

Might I suggest a couple options for including Oiluga and Cetacrude in the Legends Reilmdall?
Option one is there is a prevolution of Oiluga found in Reilmdall, that is no long available in the modern day. Option two would be to have the pokedex entries for Oiluga and Cetacrude reference their "love" for oils and the like. this would work as people wouldn't yet understand why they "like" oil so much yet.

Happy New Year to you too, Mykel. While Poison types are not one of my personal favorites, I can’t deny the designs of these sickeningly sweet Pokemon. Firstly Porifoam, who I don’t think I talked about at all prior. A very cute and quite possibly literal damage sponge. The Purpunk line looks a bit weedy on first glance, but don’t think I’m going to underestimate it simply because it’s a Grass/Poison type. Trust me, I’ve seen that power first hand. Just ask my Vileplume, Hemlock.(Two sets of Toxic Spikes and four Big Root-boosted Giga Drains later, and two-thirds of Leon’s team were laid to rest in the dumpster behind Bob’s Your Uncle.) Oiluga and Cetacrude I enjoy to a good degree, though I’m not sure if I should nickname mine Willy. As for the Regional variants and their evolutions, they’re just as good as the nicknames I have for them. Ekans and Redda truly grabbed and held my attention, no doubt due to their hypnotic patterns and powers. Redda, I dub the Mesmer. Salandit and Salizzard are a great counterpart to Salazzle, with a great type combo to boot that I really want in a main series game. Salizzard, thy name shall be Antifreeze. As for Trubbish and Garbocean, I love the design, but also hate what it’s based on. Oceanic garbage patches suck, are an eyesore to look at, and need to be removed from our planet’s big blue sea permanently. Garbocean, I my nickname for you is G.P.G.P,(Short for Great Pacific Garbage Patch. #Teamseas). As for Irma, may our battle not be as bad as a Toxic waste spill is to the environment. P.S. sorry for what happened at the oil rig.

If you fix the Ice Type Salizzard would only have 4 weaknesses Fire, Rock, Steel and Psychic which would make it tough to beat if it had Ground Type moves. Ice Type should be resistant to Ground, Flying and Dragon to make Ice a decent Type.
