- Traxxas has whipped up another TRX-4m, but this one is the new High Trail Chevy K10! That’s right, a classic square body hardbody truck, what many have been waiting for. But this new offering isn’t just a simple body swap, this truck has several new components to make it a High Trail edition which many of you know has more ground clearance. In this video Greg will show off the new truck and compare it to a standard TRX-4m then takes the mighty little rig out for a fun drive.

I watched this video yesterday and went to buy one yesterday. It's a great crawler, a lil smaller than I expected but still fun. I LOVE the charge time vs run time. Took about 20 minutes to charge the battery using my phone charger in my Tahoe and I drove it for over an hour and it still has power.
Is there a slow crawl speed for it?
Yes, there is a slow crawl speed, just set your ESC to mode 3

I picked up the red one and love it. Wish I could flip the front shock mount like I did to the back one. Got almost a half inch of lift in the back.

Very cool, I was expecting this in November like the original, big surprise. I assume the F150 is the next mini and then the sport . Getting a mini K10 to match my 1/10 scale K10

Got one yesterday it's the quietest rc I've ever heard it comes in black on chrome also
The tyres don't look as good as the optional baja pro x they already had, but otherwise very nice
edit: thanks to Greg's detailed review, I just realized these are baja pro XS which is a different tyre and now I'm not sure what I like more

I just got one and it's frickin amazing. But it smelled like axle bearing grease really bad when I took it out of the box and still does a few days later. Not a problem just strange. Anyone else notice this? I'm amazed at how quiet it is also. I would love to see a 4th gen RAM body. Or maybe an old 60's Chevy, Or maybe a power wagon.
So I just got into rcs and I had my eyes on this, but I was just wondering if the Traxxas winch is compatible with it but I also want to get a custom snow plow and I would like to know if that would work

Probably a stupid question as i own one and i dont own a regular trx4m, but.. are the suspension links longer on the high trail as opposed to the defender/bronco
thinking a trx4m chassis with larger tires for a mini scale looking monster truck. but would have to ditch the little motor for at least a 380.
Great video. So, are you saying they only added headlights with no active tail lights or light bar LED’s!?! If so, that’s really odd. As far as bodies go, I’d really like to see an old school VW Baja 4WD body emerge. Now, in my opinion, that would be epic. Thanks for the video. 😎👍🏼
There’s only LEDs in the headlights. They’ll probably have a Pro-Scale light set if you’d like to light the rest of the body.

Hello love the videos. I want a ford body. I know it will probably be a 79, I'm hoping because they have the license from ford, they should do a 74 dent longbed or a late 80s 87 or 89 ford brick nose f250 those would be different than the usual 79 ford ranger and bronco bodys

Either the old school bronco or trx6m is the only way I'd buy one of these small scale crawlers. I tried the scx24 and it never really caught my interest like the 10th scale and 6th scale both does

It looks a little top heavy out the box from the few videos I've seen today but the Defender was also top heavy out the box so I guess we all know what to do and what to spend are money on lol ,

I just got this but it is my first rc truck. And yes it is too heavy especially when going cross hill. I’m often rolling sideways. Priority 1, get good. Priority 2, figure out what little upgrades I might apply to help while working on priority 1.
So what are these known changes and upgrades I should make?

I'd love to see hightrail ford ranger. Would look awesome next to my 1/10 scale version.
Would love to see a Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison body on one. That way I have a mini version of my truck.
This truck needs a simple paint mod. Make it two tone like GM really made them back in the day. Red and white, blue and white, or black and grey would look outstanding. The chrome trim is the perfect template to do this.

Till now I don't own any Traxxas TRX-4 models of any kind. These Chevy trucks look great, and as a Chevy lover myself I would love for Traxxas to bring out a 90's Chevy Suburban body. Then, I most likely would purchase one.

I just tried it. The standard tower hits the bed and you can’t latch the body tab.
@@rcdriver Yeah, I was afraid of that. I wanted to raise the shocks so the lift won't look to high with portal axles. I guess I would need to find a way to mount the shocks at an angle.
