- The popular 1/18 scale crawler from @Traxxas gets a lift! In this video, we're taking a look at the newest release - the TRX-4M Chevrolet K10 High Trail Edition. Compared with the original, the High Trail edition TRX4M features a longer wheelbase, bigger tires, and 35% more ground clearance. Can it hang with the bigger trucks? I think so! I was pleasantly surprised by the performance for a lil guy.

Im glad Traxxas is making more mini crawlers in addition to the Defender and Bronco.
It would be so great if Traxxas offered a two speed for their 1/18 scale line.

Searched out your video here. Just ordered one of these after selling all of my trail / crawlers 4 years ago. Looks like a fun truck for backyard / local trails. May clean out a spare bedroom and make a course out of foam / shipping materials lol

Great video the 1/18th scale river is a good touch lol. I’m not much into the micro RC’s ( because my eyes are not so good anymore and my fingers are to big to work on them lol) but I may have to get the f150 high trail trx4m when it comes out 😊
Great video. I like how you mention some of the differences between the 1/18 version and the 1/10. That landscape looks amazing for RCs.
Also I got the aluminum front and back bumpers, really love the front one with the push bar
Might need one of these I used to love crawling the losing mini rock crawler it was 1/18 also.
I used to be a sub in got away from RC I recently came back because I've been diagnosed with cancer and can't really do too much glad to be back in the hobby and the number of your channel
I just got the Trx4m bronco 2 weeks ago....if I would have known I would have waited lol. I still love the bronco and will definitely be getting this.

Nice looking truck. I have the 1/12 scale Associated CR12 F150, and the 1/10 scale Element Trailwalker. Nice trucks, unfortunately there aren't any crawling events going on in eastern NC that I know of.
Crawling events are a bore filled with egotistical dudes. You're not missing anything but there's definitely compsnin your area
Great video , I like the look of this , it looks to be a little top heavy but that's easy enough to sort out , just like the Defender spend some money and it's all good , loving the body and like you I'm wondering what other colours will be coming out in the next few months , I'm going to wait and see what colour body takes my fancy ,

@@RCGirl Hi , I'm not a fan of black for a crawler\trail truck because they always look dirty in my experience, even after a really good clean , the lighter colour body's seem to look good even if they are a little dirty , I do like the one you have there but I think I will see what comes out in the next few months, when the trx_4m came out I bought the Bronco in white then a week later I bought the red Defender , three weeks after that I bought the green Defender , no wonder I have 100+ cars trucks from 1\32 Orlando hunter to 1\5 Fg marders xmaxx Mojave, it's a disease I'm sure of it lol I must sell some off , stay safe RCG 🇬🇧
Finished video. couple thoughts.. battery life of stock versus bigger batteries that fit? , Interior and a driver probably need the higher torque / more turn crawling motor?

I buy one in Portugal tomorow i go test this car.
1st thing I did was brass weights and wheels and 3 weeks later servo stripped out gears, now I have 2065r servo and added low crawl gears and brass TRAEL steering link. I've had it less then a month. All rock crawling no trail. Great rig just needs those tweaks to make it work for you. Not done with mods😅
What fms should’ve done… gonna have to give it to traxxas for this one definitely gonna buy this

Looks nice but I’m still enjoying my 1/24 Fms k5 w oil shocks. Has much faster speed and slow crawl imo. Still kinda sour after the traxxas lawsuit debacle. Plus I don’t like that you have to use traxxas proprietary battery. Great review as always!
The FCX24 is a great platform for sure. I also have a K5(fully brass, full everything) and I'm thinking these two will probably look close-ish in scale, the K5 is right above 1/18 true scale. Too bad the Traxxas is still figuratively unattainable in my country(It is, but at least 180% price over an FMS K5).
Unfortunately, it won't be available in Germany until the end of September😫, but I'll pre-order it👍
Traxxas really needs to update their latrax vehicles to be on-par with the new 1/18th scale RCs.
Hope they make a blank body to paint. Could make the Fall guy truck
Krylon Fusion works on those. You could paint over the blue.
After seeing the review she made on the 1⁄18 scale ford bronco, I had Almost bought one. Instead I got a 1⁄10 scale Redcat Everest 10

Did you have problem with the O Rings on the original trx4 mini . Hopefully the new does have that O ring popping out Problem

You my have found out already but like the trx4 1/10 scale, this trx4m has 3 speed choices. Trail, speed and crawl mode. You change it the same way on the receiver.
Good looking truck. I think the proportions are better than the fcx24 k5, too bad it doesnt have two speeds and portals. The size seems to be in between the fcx24 k5 and the fms k10.

I may be preaching to the quite, but it makes me mad that they couldn't release this when the Bronco & Defender came out, otherwise i would've went all in, on this one. Lol
