great list TC, when i saw this Top 5 I thought my Super 8 Pro would go alright happy to see it got an honorable mention finally get to get on it in 3 weeks time. 6 different mountains over 4 weeks
I used to own a bullet train. When I demoed it before buying one the guy at the board shop said: “are you sure you can handle it?, ppl bring it back with pooped pants after 1/2 day normally” 😂 Damn that deck plows through whatever is in front of it. You’ll be the fastest on the mountain, no doubts. Bought an alchemist and sold the bullet though.
Really?? That’s wild. I don’t mean this in any “braggadocios” way, but I’ve been riding for almost 35yrs and NEVER get passed on the flats/cats. My first snowboard was a “black snow mogul monster” and second was a “Burton Elite 140”…two of the WORST snowboards ever made. But in hindsight, those two shitty snowboards made me the rider I am today. I never “went pro”, but I did have several sponsors throughout the years and rode with MANY pros throughout the years. I did play professional hockey for half a decade but snowboarding was always my first love. My biggest piece of advice for you would be to learn how to wax. Get to know how every single colour of wax works under ALL conditions…from -10 to +45 degrees. It will undoubtedly change your game. I use only “Purl” brand wax made right here in the Vail Valley. When you figure out what works best in ALL conditions, you’ll always be flying through the flats. Pro-tip is to add a hefty amount of their black/graphite wax with whatever you choose for the daily conditions. I wax every two days, but for many people that’s too much work. Good luck out there and I’m sure you’ll figure out what how you stay fast in all conditions✌🏼👊🏼
I love the Gremlin - my daily driver now for two seasons and it has no comparison. If the Base was faster it would be the perfect snowboard - however,if yiu wax it often it is fast enough 😊
Yea...I bought a 2024 Megadeath. I've tried to find an end to the edgehold this season and I've determined it doesn't have one. Demo one if you get the chance. It's pretty unbelievable.

The GNU Banked Country really is on every list.

Just got the Capita mega merc and OMG the first day riding it I was ripping down the mountain. Probably the fastest I've ever road without trying.
2020 future pop wood veneer YES OPTIMISTIC. …. Hands down one of the best bullet / carvers out there.
Holy crap double banked snowboards!
2:37 we all have these moments
No matter the wax, no matter the board, I’m slowest while flat. Not by a little. No comparison.

What about the GNU Gremlin ? I guess the base is not fast enought but it turns amazing !

Alpha apx standing in the back hoping to get on the list 😢
bungis slalom
“Gungis”
for high speed riding i think the BSOD is better than the megadeath. damper.
You're not wrong, but you do need to turn in a banked slalom and that isn't the most maneuverable in tight courses. -TC
Gnu Gremlin!
I hear Bullet train mid
It’s only mid for people who can’t ride it as it’s meant to be ridden. As in a park rider will have no idea how to ride it to the fullest.
@@Edizzle15you sound mid
I rode it and thought it was sick until I got back on my deep fake. Deep fake was better.
Capita and edge hold, kinda of a non sequitur. Need to add a bumb at the insert packs.
Megadeath grips like hell - this ain’t no ultrafear!!!

If you need an added bump at the insert packs, you have skill issues.
