The way Dr. Brown pauses for a few seconds before saying “That she would see him again” is so well done. He knows that if he tells Ephram the truth, his son will never think of his mother the same way ever again. He realizes how crushing the truth will be and really thinks it over before telling it.
@mgeek1 Yeah, I was about to post a comment about how maybe Andy shouldn't have told Ephram the truth, but Ephram really pushed the issue way too far. And sometimes when you force out answers from family you get uncomfortable truths you're not ready to deal with.
The boy had to learn sooner or latter that his mother wasn't a saint, that she was a woman with flaws and by refusing to accept that he is being childish and selfish. And the way Andy takes credit of her cheating it’s pretty mature. Most people once they find out their spouse cheats start cursing and yelling without ounce of self-reflection.
@bobdy9988 I had 3 boys who would sometimes act like "nobs" when they were teenagers, and I was a Dad like this. I never got mad much, because we were so close most of the time we ended up doing something ridiculous like tickling before anger could build up. With teenage boys you got to realize sometimes they act like 35, sometimes 5, and you got to learn their moods. I was fortunate I was able to remember how it was for me at 13-19 and acted accordingly.
I don't think Ephram was ready to know that his mother was seeing someone else. But I couldn't stand him blaming his dad on everything when his dad is trying balance work and family while going through his wife's death.
@bobdy9988 I sometimes think about what I would do if this was real and I was living next to the Browns. The show is so real, that it could happen in my own town as well.
@@street__productionsOh good it ended bc I couldn’t take Madison robbing the cradle by sleeping with Ephram and getting pregnant by him. A 20 year old should not be messing with a 16 yr old boy. Made me want to barf.🤢 I only watched this show in full after Treat’s death. Excellent all around show great writing acting etc. always liked Treat Williams.❤
When it came to “Everwood” I appreciated every character, especially the father, but couldn’t stand the son. Ephram came off as whinny, disrespectful, and a lack of emotional intelligence.

vyellowh give the kid a break his mom died and his barely there father moved him halfway across the country in the teenage years which newsflash already suck.

RIP Treat Williams. Loved this show and he was a great actor.
I agree Treat Williams was a great actor
RIP Cousin. John Beasley loved. Everwood my favorite show. Thank you. Greg. Berlanti.for creating such a wonderful. TV 📺 Show

My favorite Everwood scene from my favorite Everwood episode. Great performances, both by Treat Williams and Gregory Smith. Bravo.
I love this scene ephram the question you ask is not the answer you wanted to hear
+Seneca Arnold i think i should watch the whole show
Gregrory Smith's performance in this scene is awesome. You can't see the acting anywhere, it seems so real as if it was actually happening.
ephram was so emo, i miss this show
Love this show.
Never ask questions about things you may not want to know, especially if it concerns family.

That, and the fact that his own mother was the one who encouraged his father to go to Everwood

good scene !!!! !!!! omg !
Do any of you guys think Ephram is a massive nob to his Dad? I would love to have a Dad like that. (I know it's a drama lol)
Yes!. We all know how Dr's can be busy and miss family events but damn I couldn't stand ephram
To be fair, Andy missed A LOT of Ephram's life events, it eventually all adds up.
@@lockonstratos31someone’s gotta pay the light bill and put food on the table
@@al821 True but Andy did have difficulty balancing his career with his family which he admits.
It’s not easy to hear that a parent cheated on the other.
Especially when its the one your closer to and the one you feel was neglected .

What season and episode
Hi, could someone tell me which episode and season is this scene from? Thanks
@bobdy9988 I'm only 19 myself. Thanks for the advice. (No sarcasm intended)
@jrocchi88 season 1 ep 18 - "The Unveiling"
Thank you!
@XxMadAboutPotterxX beacause of 7th heaven which was garbage compared to everwood
Boa tarde a todos
Why is that a common theme?
Kids find out the mom had an affair long after she passed?
Why
Ephram is such a baby!! Suck it up! Your not the only one that is having problems in your family!
